I need to make an essay video about why Order of the Phoenix is the best Harry Potter movie ever. I'm so tired of it not getting the recognition and appreciation that it deserves. The story contains so many incredible themes that are handeled so well! Friendship, depression, isolation, political corruption, media bias, our inner demons and the ability to choose right over wrong! Daniel Radcliffe gives his best performance, it has some of the best writing, the most accurate tone and my god that final battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort! I could go on for hours about why its the best and I think I might do just that.

Half Blood Prince is my favourite right now, from the brilliant music to the way the movie makes you feel.
I love the cinematography and man that wide shot at the end where Harry tries to use sectum sempra on Snape on the hill is my favourite shot in the whole franchise, finding out Snape was the half blood prince is still my favourite twist in a movie. also Harry on felix felicis was fkn hilarious

Harry and Ron used the invisibility cloak in the Chamber of Secrets to go to Hagrids hut. That's where they get the follow the spiders clue.

Love the video, keep up the great work! The Deathly Hallows was the only book I read before watching the movie, and I've got to say I think watching the movies first is the way to go. I love the movies, and the books even more because they have so much more. But, because I watched the movies first, they were never disappointing based on what was left out from the books.

Weirdly goblet of fire is my favorite subjectively. Im just a sucker for death games like running man, maze runner, hunger games or even ready player one. Definitely bummed they didn't make it two parts to really go into depth like the book had.

my favorite book is "sorcerers stone" and my favorite movie was "Prisoner os Azkaban" but I haven't watched a Harry Potter film since 2019 so I think its time for a rewatch

I can’t believe people put Order of the Phoenix at the bottom. That and Prisoner of Azkaban are my favorites
My list would be
8) Order of the Phoenix
Pros: I do like the soundtrack
Daniel Radcliffe’s performance
Umbridge is flawless
Cons: The fight scene and department of mysteries scene is too CGI
One of the longest books, but one of the shortest movies
7) Deathly Hallows part one
Pros: Beautifully shot
Great acting
Seven Potters scene is incredible
Cons: Drags out to long
6) Sorcerers stone
Pros: Great introduction to the world
Makes me feel hella nostalgic
Amazing set pieces
Cons: Performances of child actors
CGI isn’t the best
5) Half Blood Prince
Pros: another beautifully shot movie
Love the Felix felices scene
Love the relationship between Harry and Dumbledore
Cons: Focuses to heavy on relationships
Skips out on Voldemort’s back story
Harry and Ginny’s relationship is not well developed
4) Goblet of Fire
Pros: Again beautifully shot
I love the triwizard tournament
The acting has gotten better
Cons: cut too much out of the book
3) Prisoner of Azkaban
Pros: Again beautiful to look at
Alfonso is a genius
The dementors
Sirius Black
Cons: Pacing is a little slow at times
2) Chamber of secrets
Pros: Seen it the most and I just love it

Chamber of Secrets for the win 🤘
When I was a kid rewatching HP3 coz the new ones were coming out and they started time traveling and dumbledore was all like “ooo I dunno what your on about” i thought he was secretly Harry who used the time turner and went as far back as possible because he fucked up beating Voldemort the first time and lost so now he’s guiding himself to correct it and he’d never know coz he looks so different. I was big time wrong 😂 I was like 8-9 at the time.( Never read the books and still haven’t 😂)
That was a great theory for a 9 year old!

I think reading the books prior to watching the films definitely changes your rankings. You have pre-conceived notions of what everything should be like. Goblet of Fire suffers the most from this. I think it's objectively the best standalone film, but is a bad adaption of the book.

Y'all said that Sorcerer's has the worst acting, but I gotta disagree. Daniel Radcliffe even says he can't even watch HBP because he's clearly drunk in most of his scenes. It's absolutely ruined the experience of the film for me, and it felt like the Lavender storyline detracted from the overarching narrative. There were definitely better ways to propel Ron and Hermione's relationship while still moving the story forward.
