@@Chroniclesofrosieresmany parents want to get through something, without the “help” of their children. What they, unlike you don’t understand is these are the wonderful experiences that as adults, they will remember. Not to mention, it is an amazing way to build their confidence, after all they got to help with amazing projects, just like their parents.
You are both amazing parents, it shows the love and devotion you have for one another and for your beautiful children ❤️

When my ex husband was a small boy, his farmer neighbour took him on his tractor. As he got older, an equipment operator friend let him practice on his backhoe. It made such a huge impression on him, he went on to become a heavy equipment operator at one of the largest open pit Lead/Zinc mines in N. America (in the Yukon where I live) and then an equipment/haulage truck trainer on other mine sites. Those tiny seeds planted in his mind sparked big dreams that came true for him, and a very successful career to this day. He never complains about going to work, he LOVES it. Something I think about as I watch your son help his Dad. 💞

No photos from when the previous owners were there? Maybe place an advert for anyone with historic pictures or even memories of the past life of the Chateau? I'd be willing to bet that if you end up having to rent the equipment, the bedrock will cause problems😢!!!

I wish I could link it to you but look for neck related dizziness. It should show a person lying on their back, Their head on a pillow and how to properly turn your neck to the right and left. Would you make a family pool enclosed for the family you have the space :) I am guessing you are reinstating the turret then :) as I think that is what you are finding the stones for it. If it were me I would focus on fixing up the chateau so you can move back in ;) once you have done that then think about hidden cellars :)
