The birds always show up when Marc is excavating, knowing they will find lovely things to eat. I always think of the video when March was working on the wall and he kept saying “that chicken isn’t going to live very long”.

Amy, that was quite a commendable effort with the tractor. I bet there's a secret Marc hasn't told you about how to get a big load of fill. Clement and Juliette prove to be wonderful helpers. Juliette is wearing an appropriate 'jumper' for the job! Well done, you two!!

So interesting to see (and understand - thanks for the sketch, Amy) the various projects and watch your progress. This video was particularly enjoyable with the participation of the children - so sweet how Juliette wholeheartedly followed you on the plank, jumping energetically up and down to help you. Wonderful family memories to treasure. ❤

Such good luck to find this water tank (even with free water... just to make moving it that much more a challenge)! In what seemed short order, you all contributed to this massive accomplishment of getting it right where you planned and prepared for its next service! I have such respect for both Marc and you, Amy... how you blend your parenting life with your very difficult, challenging, backbreaking restoration of not just a building but multiple massive buildings, a greenhouse, a garden, an orchard, a watering system, and oh, yes, a Vineyard! All this while documenting it for posterity, and hopefully, a helpful monetary return for your effort. You are both so personable, intelligent, creative, industrious, and lovers of beauty and nature, and turn every barnyard animal into a beloved family pet! I look forward to every vlog you produce for us, who vicariously experience the allure of a living a rather remote life on a gorgeous piece of historic property in romantic France, which nearly daily reveals little snippets of previous life to you, that you beautifully & generously share with us. Thank you from a gramma in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Hope you have a happy & blessed Easter! 🌷🐇✝️🐣🪻

Amy and Marc are incredible parents. They allow Clement and Juliette to "participate" in these projects while watching them closely, keeping them out of harm's way. They are beyond patient with the little ones. Marc's ambitious project will no doubt be not only functional but quite beautiful when done. I am really enjoying these videos.

Amy, I'm the St. Felicien lady.. now Niagara, around 1970 we buried a tank for our greenhouse... One of the first Grapevine nursery businesses here... my uncle got a round railway cars for carrying liquid, from Montreal (rail car junk yard). We were pumping cold water from Lake Ontario. which was so cold it slowed growth. This way it warmed it up. There were no plastic tanks then.
