Another thought for the leftover pulp.. Use it to make a nice veggie broth! Throw the bits into a freezer bag, and when full, boil the whole mess in a big pot, strain, and you've a nice stock to use as a base for your cooking. I cook with No oil, so this is what I use.
It would’ve been a more complete experience had you cleaned the juicer on camera. The reason some people don’t like juicing is the messy cleaning that ensues. I’m accustomed to it. Pro Chef with 30+ years experience here. I love this juicer!! I've had mine for about 6years or so and have had no problems with it at all. Having said that. The apples and oranges she used must have been very small ones, since the feeding tube opening isn't big enough for typically sized fruit. It does juice them that easily though. The only things I wouldn't use this juicer for would be for things like Wheatgrass. It'll just make a mess and no juice! Cleanup is super easy, especially if you have a sprayer on your kitchen sink. Try not to use anything abrasive when cleaning to help maintain it's clean look, but it won't affect performance whatsoever. I really can't say anything negative about this juicer other than what I mentioned.
Mangoes are a difficult fruit to juice. They are very soft and mushy when ripe and a blender does a much better job of pureeing it. The juicer will give you more juice if the mango is not too hard or too soft, somewhere in between. In my humble opinion, eat the sweet mango rather than juice it.
I have this very same model and I have found that if you place less pressure on the plunger when you feed the produce ( Go slower) you will get a higher yield.
I was looking at other juicers on amazon and could not decide which one to het until I came across the breville JE98xl juice fountain 850 watts juicer extractor and the breville JE98xl juicer fountain 700 watts , and my final decision I will be this 850 watts juicer from breville on because you can set it high and low the 700 watts can't so I am definitely buying this !

Thanks for noticing. The remaining juice was dripping from the spout and I should have left the container there longer to catch it. The machine has not leaked and juicing was not a messy process.
Actually it's best to use the low setting for oranges and lemons. You'll find that it juices alot better. We had l'équipe mini. Broke very fast and now we have this one for not much and we see a huge difference. Great juicer and makes alot more juice than the l'équipe mini
The Breville je98xl is a centrifugal juicer. There are two types of juicers - Centrifugal and Masticating. Extractor is not a type of juicer. "juice extractor" just means a machine that "draws or pull out" juice.
My 1st juicer was a Juiceman Juicer about 30 yrs ago. It had a 2 hp motor and was a killer juicer. Finally, after 20 yrs, couldn't get blades for it. Now have a Jack Lelaine. Very similar to this. The power isn't there compared to the juiceman of the past. This one here with the 1 HP motor doesn't sound any better.
The review is amazing. This juicer sounds pretty loud, which is the same problem I have with my current juicer. Do you know of any juicers that are not as loud? I live in a small apartment and I fear I'll wake everyone on the 3rd floor.

I find that if I put the kale in first then put ginger then lemon celery apples and cucumber u actually get more juice from the kale because it's so dry it's best to put it in first then something that's not so dry in afterwards to force the rest of the juice out I normally combine the kale then straight after cucumber it works well, by the way you sound like the girl from the song #selfie that's not an insult either Im just saying :) thanks for the video
I will buy a juice extractor this week. I think the centrifuge will affect the quality of the of the juice and decrease the value of the nutriment. I will by one with compress system with a screw. i don't know which one yet.
It was an interesting review but I had concerns lol She put in the whole apple with seeds? She peeled the oranges? I couldn’t see what she was putting in because her hands were in front of the juicer instead of the back
I had no idea that lid was to get the froth out, I always just drink it....also I wouldnt juice whole apples dont the seeds contain arsenic? Heard kale was bad to juice too

I eat the kale pulp as a salad and waste nothing. I dice veggies and use apple cider vinegar as a dressing and its perfect.

balling up the kale yields better results but a masticating juicer like the omega j8006 will give you the maximum amount of juice from leafy greens.

This applies for any juicer - I use a nut milk bag to extract more juice. I also only fill the bag about 1/4 at a time.
