Thanks...any advice if you cannot remove the basket? Despite doing all the obvious things, it's like it is locked in place. Unit Wasim storage for many years but hardly used. It's clean, just can't remove plastic surround spout and filter basket. Odd...thx

The filter bowl will not come off on mine. I just assembled and used once. Anybody have any ideas how to get this off?
