It has to be a doesn't want to die alone and over does it response, obviously this is based on personal reflections but are people seriously not wanting to introduce new SOs to their kids???
@tonym.8069 I've heard about this from different friends of mine with kids, they vary on approach, sometimes they'll bring the kid/kids on a say, play date where both parties agree to bring their kids, or they wait a while to make sure the person is "worth" introducing to their kids because they don't want to expose them to someone bad or get their hopes up of another parental figure only for it to end early. None of them however have just brought the kids on the first date without mentioning it to the other party whatsoever, and introduced the person as "meet your new parent!" lol
There's a perception that single moms are victims, and some genuinely are, but understand that each and every one put themselves in a situation where they had sex with a guy who was a horrible person, he was a decent guy and she's entirely the problem, or both. Varying degrees, but all a poor reflection of her on some level; this doesn't even factor into having the foresight or common sense of using birth control. I could argue they deserve their fates, but I still feel for the kids. Given how messed up many of them turn out, I can see why ancient civilizations all adopted some form of enforced monogamy. Edit: Obviously the fathers shouldn't be off the hook either, plenty who are deadbeats, and the women should also be wary of single guys who already have kids.
Imagine having an IQ above 75 and knowing that widowers exist. Imagine not being literally mentally disabled. The joke that you are too stupid to understand is that you're literally too stupid to have an imagination, hence your inability to think through basic reality in the first place 😂
Nobody has to be a horrible person for a break up/divorce to happen. And nobody knows how their life will change in 10+ years, at that point they can be a completely different person. A lot of guys/women are perfect partners, then years after marriage, having kids, they slowly starts to change into something worse that you couldn't expect. Deciding to have kids is always a risk, sometimes it works out perfectly, other times it don't.
The only situation i'd consider a single mother is if she's widowed. If she had children out of wedlock or divorced that's her baggage to carry not anyone else
Back in the day a single mother was eh damage good. So a qt 3.14 would have to drop her standards (physically speaking) and find a guy with a real job willing to be the step (up) dad. That was before dating apps became ubiquitous. Now ugo with 3 kids becomes some mid dudes mistake for 1 night. Now she thinks she can still fool a "high value male" to take care of her crotch goblins. And ends up increasing her body count.
I dated, married and divorced a SM. Here is the list: 1. Dating and bedding a SM could get you 18 years of CS. She will never delete it, she's already a SM. 2. You will pay for everything, that's why you're there. 3. You have zero authority in the home you pay for. You come last after the dogs. 4. Forget the kids liking you. You are not their dad, and they will remind you everyday. 5. The home you go to work, and pay for, IS NOT YOUR HOME, PERIOD! 6, You are an ATM/workhorse, a servant to them, nothing more. 7. SM's will step out on you with no problem. That's why they're single. These are only a few things. Don't even go near them! There is no future with a SM.
Almost happened to me. I didn't even know she was a mom until the date, but I was nice anyways. She looked different from her profile, didn't really care about me, but wanted me as a dad instead of her life partner, and she was just... weird? I love weird, but this weird was just... uncomfortable. I want to be with a woman who values her chastity and doesn't have kids already. I want to start a life, not continue one.
Never date a single mom that wants to date or Is on a dating app, any girl that has children but wants to find a partner probably wants a bag of money/babysitter, unless the kids are 20 or sm, and out of the picture.
What's really sad about single moms and women in general, if you as a man have kids (single father) they absolutely will ghost you in a heart beat. ONLY THEIR KIDS ARE IMPORTANT. And they will STILL get mad at you for doing the exact same thing to them.
Ngl, matching with a single mom is the least fake thing about dating app stories. They all just wash up there hoping for some desperate guy to be suckered into it.
@@Spike2276 I told one guy I know "alpha fucks and beta bucks" regarding single mothers and he responded with "I know I'm a beta" which is one of the most pathetic sentences I have ever heard a human speak. Some guys just love to play "Captain Save-A-Hoe".
I was seeing a SM for a minute and once we got to know each other we all went out a couple times with her kid. He annoyed the shit out of me the entire time so I stopped seeing her and she kept asking why. I didn’t have the heart to tell her I absolutely hated being around her kid 🤣
She was main character's single mom. Although the anime was great, them trying to squeeze entire manga storyline into just 12 episodes didn't work well. The second part of the original story was really compressed with a lot of details left out. I would suggest to read the original manga to anyone who watched the anime.
She also said "Two little angels." If her kids were actually well behaved and polite then you could probably assume the dad might just be a deadbeat. However looks like the dad wasn't the only problem.
Being single is the greatest decision I've ever stuck with. The social norm of being expected to inconvenience yourself and raise kids for most of your life is losing its pull year after year in the US.
Heres so.ething to also keep in mind for folks wanting to try this single mom stuff. You need to make sure she is on the same team as you in the long run. That way if misbehaving happens and you try to do anykind of repremand or discipline no matter how small that it doesnt backfire in your face. Telling a child to stop theowing food or stop destroying something could have some major backlash from the mom. If that is the case then she isnt doing her job very well and just letting the madness occur. Thats your cue to leave in most cases otherwise. Youll only be in last place in the family enviroment for a long time. Over time that just isnt good for a persons sanity...do t do that to yourself folks.
I've never dated a single mom because I'm not stupid, but I almost want to just so when a kid yells, "You're not my dad!" I can reply, "No kidding, I'm actually here."
I wonder how many innocent dudes are getting tortured in prison with false accusations from a shitty kid that didn't like their moms new bf... shudder to think of that reality.
I'm a decidedly childfree woman, and I don't blame men who avoid single moms because they scare me, too! I spent my entire adolescence having to help raise and pay for the kids of single moms in my family, and just like in the video, the moms all had a bad habit of "disappearing" and leaving me alone with their kids (with no prior notice) for hours, and sometimes DAYS, at a time. Now I refuse to date single fathers because I doubt the experience is and different, and I don't blame men for choosing the same against single moms. My peace and quiet are too precious.
I wish all single moms to find their special shut-in guy who lives with his parents and plays video games all day. Come on, ladies, be reasonable, this is the best you can do with your...um...handicap.
Never take responsibility for another man's semen. Those women took their decisions, now they have to live with them. Work on yourselves, and a valuable woman will eventually appear
So adopting is a no? Wow dude. Really shows the kind of person you are. I honestly hope for your sanity you take a break from the internet and get outside and surround yourself with positive people.
"Another man's semen" is terminally online dribble. The issue here is that mother having no sense of responsibility or priorities, not that the kids aren't his. Grow up, dude.
Same thing happened to me, dated the girl for a month and we were having a really good time until all of the sudden she comes to my place with the kids unnoticed with the excuse that no one was able to take care of them, kids were well behaved I will admit but I had to ghost her since that whole stepdad thing freaked me out.
Had this situation come up twice before, it sucks. Red flags always fly up when they want you to meet their kids after just a day or two. Like honestly its just kind of creepy and off putting. Just don't waste my time with that shit anymore, they're single moms for a reason
Just looking at the title, my instant reaction was "Hell, I could have told you that." There's... any number of cons to single moms and almost no pros.
Like mentioned before, it is like playing another man's saved game. A game you've never played before. At the final boss. Health bar at 1%. But instead of losing and turning off the game, you lose in this game and are going to pay one way or another. Financial. Sanity. Pick your poison. Oh and have fun bearing the emotional baggage that will undoubtedly be expected of you to carry.

Realising that "maybe being single isn't so bad" is akin to achieving nirvana.
They are not victims. Just close your legs.
You are a wise man
there a reason the guy wanted out
"Anon finds out why single mom is single"
and for everything else in the bleeding obvious we've got Carl with "don't play in traffic and eat radioactive waste"
"Quirky means feral"😂
"remember i don't even like kids"
those *things* are kids?
I dated, married and divorced a SM. Here is the list:
Does this dynamic improve when you have kids of your own with her? Minus the 18 years of CS of course
8. You will never be her first priority. The kids that aren’t even yours always come first. Your needs won’t even be considered to her.
Yeah having someone reschedule dates for no reason and hearing "my kids will always be my first priority". Okay then good luck with that.
I can understand that the kids come first. But, you should make sure the guy gets some attention otherwise he will just leave.
@ “Some attention” just means scraps. Kids shouldn’t always come first or they’ll grow up entitled douchebags.
Agreed, I don't start writing a letter by using a piece of paper someone already wrote on.
Chastity you mean a virgin? lol are you looking for a grown up woman or 12yo girl xd
Dating a single mom is like playing someone else's saved game file, why the hell would you do that.
New game+?
To get both ending achievements in a game with autosaves.
I say that as someone who has provided that save.
Not a metaphore, literal videogame.
100% real. This was me in my 20s. Thank God I didn't date her.
what color are the kids?
Swarthy
This is 4chan if they were brown that would have been included in the story multiple times
If mom was a POC those kids would've been a lot more disciplined

"I have a big package for you"
Ngl, matching with a single mom is the least fake thing about dating app stories.
Unironically gay relationships have the best happiness and stats. Lesbian ones have the worst.

"Youre not my dad"
"damn right!" 🤣
I was seeing a SM for a minute and once we got to know each other we all went out a couple times with her kid. He annoyed the shit out of me the entire time so I stopped seeing her and she kept asking why. I didn’t have the heart to tell her I absolutely hated being around her kid 🤣
Character in pic is Sachiko Fujinuma from ERASED
Hello there local hero
Is she your waifu pillow?
She was main character's single mom.
Although the anime was great, them trying to squeeze entire manga storyline into just 12 episodes didn't work well. The second part of the original story was really compressed with a lot of details left out. I would suggest to read the original manga to anyone who watched the anime.
Thanks man
That's common sense now. Young men won't fall for it. They understand the assignment.
Unless the X is straight up dead, the dad is still very much in the picture and even if he is, don't date single moms.
Fake:Matched with a girl named karen
Gay: "Not Grindr cuz im not gay"
If you don't like kids I highly recommend you date someone who also doesn't want kids.
Good luck finding one that suits you... And who are not overdrown of demands. Especially past 30 the only way are IRL match-ups...
In fairness she said we are a package deal on her bio....
The package was opened up, torn apart, and taped back together poorly.
Return to sender.
She also said "Two little angels." If her kids were actually well behaved and polite then you could probably assume the dad might just be a deadbeat. However looks like the dad wasn't the only problem.
@@dhgmrz17 Lucifer was an angel.
It wasn’t a package. It was a flaming bag of dog crap and this poor man tried to put it out by stomping on it.
"quirky means feral" SOOOOO TRUEE hahaha
Men go from "I'm desperate" to "absolutely NEVER AGAIN!"
Why would you want to take care of another man's kids?!
Silly Humans.
I've never dated a single mom because I'm not stupid, but I almost want to just so when a kid yells, "You're not my dad!" I can reply, "No kidding, I'm actually here."
Fair enough, but even with chill kids the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
I wonder how many innocent dudes are getting tortured in prison with false accusations from a shitty kid that didn't like their moms new bf... shudder to think of that reality.
A lot of people are having a similar experience. Be careful who you like.
It was in this moment, Anon realized other countries have women and got his passport….
In other news, water wet.
It's wild just how many woman don't seem to understand how their kids aren't other men's problems.
As if single dads are a common occurence in the dating market lmao
Actually the kids of single dads turn out significantly better than that if single moms...Fun little fact.
Her "demon spawn"!This got me laughing really hard!😂😂😂
The single mom: HOW DARE YOU GHOST ME! WHOSE GONNA PAY FOR THESE NOW!!!
I wish all single moms to find their special shut-in guy who lives with his parents and plays video games all day.
Come on, ladies, be reasonable, this is the best you can do with your...um...handicap.
Hey don't foist your problems on me 😂
Guys just leave single moms alone if u don’t have a child yourself you’re only putting yourself through pain - sincerely a married man w 2 children

Honestly, "dog mom" ain't so bad, if it's a decent dog. Bonus points if she can't handle the dog, but you can.
Downside: she cheats on you with Fido. Oh well at least it isn't her babydaddy Jaquandre. Women have never been lower quality than right now, ever
My dog is well behaved

Never take responsibility for another man's semen. Those women took their decisions, now they have to live with them. Work on yourselves, and a valuable woman will eventually appear
"Never take responsibility for another man's semen" buddy, put down the internet for a minute
So, no to addoption then?
incel ass comment
So adopting is a no? Wow dude. Really shows the kind of person you are. I honestly hope for your sanity you take a break from the internet and get outside and surround yourself with positive people.
"Another man's semen" is terminally online dribble. The issue here is that mother having no sense of responsibility or priorities, not that the kids aren't his. Grow up, dude.
Same thing happened to me, dated the girl for a month and we were having a really good time until all of the sudden she comes to my place with the kids unnoticed with the excuse that no one was able to take care of them, kids were well behaved I will admit but I had to ghost her since that whole stepdad thing freaked me out.
at least this one had a happy ending
Sounds like that meeting was just what he needed to remind him how well off he is
Had this situation come up twice before, it sucks. Red flags always fly up when they want you to meet their kids after just a day or two. Like honestly its just kind of creepy and off putting. Just don't waste my time with that shit anymore, they're single moms for a reason
I don't believe this for a second, he totally downloaded grindr
At least the people on there probably aren't fat and loaded up with Jamal's kids
What the hell?!
Should never even consider introducing someone to the kids until you know the person well.
That's an abuse situation waiting to happen
Just looking at the title, my instant reaction was "Hell, I could have told you that." There's... any number of cons to single moms and almost no pros.
Coach Red pill Gonzalo Lira(RIP) had a great video about never dating single moms
Tbh this sounds like a situation I had, my mom had a boyfriend, bonded for 3 years if I remember, then ghosted her because it wasn't working out
Like mentioned before, it is like playing another man's saved game.
Never work for someone else seed
Just remember; there's a reason that shes a single mom. Don't date a broken women. I know this sounds harsh but this is one of the most important pieces of dating advice that you'll ever hear.
Broken women always deserve it, it takes a long time to learn this

"Chee-yah. I thought almost everyone knew that bro."
Plenty of women out there without kids.. never compromised.
She doesn't want a romantic interest. She wants a partner to share her burdens with; a stepdad really.
I feel for her, but it's also not a good foundation for any relationship.
If she's a ten but a single mom, then her personality is dragging that rating down to a 3.
Also she's not a ten even without kids, be honest she's like a 7 tops
My mom tells me I’m too picky cause literally my two requirements are not a single mother and not fat. She said at the ripe age of 32 my standards are way too high. Like damn
Welcome to the 21st century where zero women are not fat or knocked up by tyrone
There's this single mom that im interested in, but damn everything is telling me dont date one. Its all on my facebook and youtube feeds and I also had a coworker say dont do it. Am i gonna listen? No lol. I like to learn from my mistakes, if it actually is one.
Dont do it bruh.
The sheer number of single moms in this damn country smh
Not even once.
Glad Anon specified he wasn't gay. That was vitally important information.
Don't worry guys, i guarantee you women feel the same about single dads. So don't feel bad for not being interested in single moms
Another lucky one that managed to NOT get roped in. Thank God.
"Not grinder cause I'm not gay." Yeah, sure 😂
One time, single mom want a relationship with me. I told her 50 times to gtfo and she still begged me. That was so annoying
If you need someone to tell you that, you might not be to smart.
Better off approaching in real life. Get yourself in shape, learn skills to get a better paying job, face your demons and work out your insecurities, dress better, understand the female experience, get over rejection, understand yourself, understand what you want, understand what you will not put up with. These things will help.
This is solid advice. People forget a relationship is what two people create together.
He had to learn his lesson someday. I’m happy he learned it sooner and not later.

Seeing a single mom right now.. 8 months in, two weeks she gave me the "My kids will always come first speech" not going to lie, i felt chit.. I don't have kids, good job and in good physical shape.. I am age 45 though. Since she said that to me, my feelings for have changed. I am more aware of how this situation does not benefit me in the long run. I am making nearly all of the sacrifices with my time and energy.. I am losing the chance of starting my own family. She is also playing games with texting now, intentionally being distant towards. I really don't know why i am tolerating this crap. I think i will have to ghost her this weekend
Just find someone else not worth it
