The funniest auto correct I experienced was when my sister said her and mom were out thrusting Mormons together. She meant thrift shopping :P no Mormons were thrusted.

I got a phone call at 3 am the other day. A VERY sexy man's voice in the other end said "Hey Baby"
I giggled and said in a very SULTRY voice, "ohhh honey, you sooo have the wrong number"
Dead silence on the other end, then "click"

I spent years getting messages for a woman that kept giving guys my number. Every now and then I answered one of those calls and had to break the news to them. Some kept insisting I was lying and that my number was her real number.
My voicemail message for several was “This is - - phone, not Sarah’s, she gave you my number so you would leave her alone.”
Haha, I've had to tell guys, "bro, she gave you the wrong number, I'm an old lady! Sorry dude"
lol I had that happen once, but my issue was that I live near the WY border, so tons of people in WY have MT numbers & vice versa. So I kept getting texts meant for a *drug dealer* with the WY version of my number. Don’t say “stuff” to your dealer, everyone knows that it means lol! Dude was going thru it, his number was also an NA contact & I had to help connect a couple people with 12 step programs in WY. And once my number was given to a prisoner as a county contact for another case, nearly screwing her over deeply; luckily I had a parole officer friend & recognized that her pre recorded message was not a scam & that she was desperately trying to get something done in time with another case (she was a minor nonviolent criminal, addicts often end up in multiple jurisdictions, it’s not good but it doesn’t mean a person is extra bad).
I’m a 52 yr old mom so completely out of your demographic, but I enjoy your sense of humor and videos so much. Low key, also I feel my late son who was 19 at the time of passing would of loved you. Ever since I imagined that, I can’t stop watching your vids. Keep it up, your work is awesomely entertaining 🤓

I started a trend with a couple of my siblings. I put my mom in my phone as "Birthgiver". Couple of my siblings thought it was hilarious so they did the same.
My first cell phone was the type with a slide out keyboard. On the messaging section, you could scroll through conversations up and down. Once in a conversation, you could move left and right to other contacts you previously messaged, but you were still primed to text whichever number you entered that area from. At least twice I sent a message meant for my girlfriend to someone else. The first time nothing really happened, I just told my mom she was awesome. The second time I promised to give my best friend a kiss, luckily he found it a lot funnier than I did.
Omg I’m not alone in having my mom named The Mothership in my phone I even got some alien-like sounds for text tone and ringtone 👽😂
I seriously cried laughing over, “Of corpse…” Like, how often was that’s person typing that word?
My mom couldn't find the period or question mark to end sentences. So she would just type "period" or "question mark".
Omg..I always thought suspenders were to be pulled and snapped..so much fun🤣🤣🤣

My worst text fail was a couple years ago...
I was leaving a blood draw and texted my boyfriend "My phlebotomist gave me bad aids" when I meant "band aids" 🤦🏼♀️💀

This is why I always read through every text message just before sending it. I'm amazed by how many people don't bother to do this. It's not like Skype (or UA-cam comments) where you can edit a message after sending it.

The worst text fail I sent was when I met a guy online and was texting back and forth to get to know him. All he talked about was sex. So I said “if all you care about is sex then you might as well move in!!”🤣. I meant to type move ON!🤣🤣🤣
I also sent one while looking for a job and someone asked what kind of jobs I was applying for. Autocorrect changed it to: “I’m applying for any openings for ARABS”. It was supposed to say RN’s!!🤣

For the longest time and possibly still, my daughter had me listed in her contacts as: She Who Sits In The Fat Cart. I'm a large gal and a motorized wheelchair user. For quite a while many called me that outside of it being a cellphone contact name. Like, in person, to my face. Mostly my daughter's friends. It was all in good fun though, and we still laugh about it to this day.
My mams name is “Gorgeous”. Back in her old job she’d be working with at risk teens, and she’d always say “if you forget my name, call me Gorgeous” and for a few years I call her that.

My dad was texting my mother and I to say he was running late for dinner and he said “I’m just getting out of Debbie there was jam see you soon”.
Luckily my mother knew it was a text to speech fail but that didn’t stop her from teasing him when he got to dinner about who the hell is Debbie and wtf did he mean there was jam. Why was he just getting out her w jam?!

I had a text fail recently of epic proportions and at such a bad time too! My besties mother in law passed from covid and her sister in law called her screaming with grief. I offered my support with the following:

I actually sent my mother a great text. To my defence, I was in Florida, texting in bright sunlight, and auto correct decided that my text needed alot of help. My mother was taking care of my dog while I was on vacation.

I had a text fail recently my friend texted me “we should hang out!” And I went to type in we do but my phone changed it to “we don’t “ and I never texted back so fast after realizing it and told her we do lol
Before all this covid stuff happened I used to see my nieces pretty often. One day I didn't plan ahead and quickly ran out of things for them to do, so I took them with me to run some errands. At some point we were in the car and a text came in, and it played over the sound system. There was a moment of silence, then the sound of quiet clicking, and then a new text came in ... and oh, man. They texted until their thumbs were sore, everything you can think of that sounds dirty when read aloud (think "c u p" level comedy), and it kept them howling with laughter while I spontaneously opted to take us for a longer drive. And when that got old, they entertained us all by playing games and telling lame knock knock jokes by text. Honestly, I'm smiling just remembering it. That was a good day.

In Madres text, someone definetly put in a typically used word like "I" or "and" and changed it in corrections, so everytime they write that word it's changed to "as soon as you get to Alabama"😝
I don't think so cause of the "what the heck" at the end... but damn that's brilliant.
Could be something like a what I call "purse texts" so let's say I started typing a text , got interrupted before I finished and didn't send it . I go to finish the Draft but didn't check what I started typing, didn't realize there was already a bunch of repeats up above on the screen. So, might be "I have to take care of something as soon as I get to Manhattan" repeated 8X until I finally write "I need a passport.". Didn't happen but ALMOST did a # of times.

Sign language interpreter here. I talk to deaf people, about deafness, etc. I cannot tell you how many times auto-correct has called my friends DEAD. Mortifying.

1:06 the neighbor girl was getting married in the backyard & I and some other neighbors were helping tidy up. The bride came out laughing hysterically. She was talking to her cousin on the phone, who was making some decorative elements (the hula hoop transformation into a vows backdrop was sublime), and her cousin asked, “it’s hobo theme right?” Bride panicked for a moment then realized cousin had mixed up boho & hobo, which though related, are very different themes!
I used the microphone to ask for 'game apps' for my phone one day and it brought up 'gay maps'. I laughed in confusion not making the connection.
I asked again. Again I got a list of gay maps.
I started laughing and laughing wondering what was going on with my phone and kept asking, the more times I asked the harder I laughed. It took about 15 minutes before I realized what was going on.
My husband just kept laughing saying TYPE IT IN and I'm all...NONONONNO!
I had tears in my eyes and could barely breathe at that point while I TRIED my hardest to get enough words out in the attempt to explain to my husband who was just as confused.
That took awhile.

The worm text was intentional I think. It was a trend in a group on Facebook, to text your partner and ask what they would do if you turned into a worm. There were some truly wholesome responses from that one

I think all the haters should look in the mirror , assess their humor ability, and, should try singing into a microphone and then listen to themselves. I usually stand by the"if you have nothing nice to say...shut u up!" I get your humor. I especially get the weird faces and strange noises you make. I've done this all of my life. My mother and sisters used to say, "If you stop making all those faces people can see how beautiful you are" . I wonder of you heard the same. I don't even get the shallow people. You are a model!!! I got a great laugh I didn't know I needed....
I’m fairly new but had to tell you what happened just a couple months ago. I was talking to my niece and nephews on Facebook messenger and I said “had a bad day at work today so I’m sitting back listening to the Monkees. Then I got some lols and one of my nephews told me to look at what I sent. Spellcheck had changed listening to the Monkees to blowing the Monkees lol.
Interesting little tidbit-
What we refer to as the "poop emoji" was actually created as a "chocolate ice cream emoji" Crazy right? Lols! Have a great day! Love your channel! Blessings from WI 🤗
