Early childcare teachers are treated worse than most professions and they are paid less than working at a fast food restaurant or Starbucks.
@@iroqoco facts we are so underpaid. They pay athletes millions and pay those who teach the future nothing. Americans have it all backwards. I should not have to live paycheck to paycheck I’m struggling.

This is why I stopped at one child. I hated paying half my monthly wages on childcare.

They are screaming to take away a women’s choice but are not doing anything to make it easier for those women if they make the choice not to abort. Maybe if they put as much into that it would be an easier choice.
@Cho Xiden Your right,that’s a choice to that EVERY Woman has to make for herself. The main reason Roe versus Wade passed “Legalizing Abortion” is because of the death rate of women going to quack doctors. If you try to take away any persons right to make a choice with their bodies it will not stop abortions it will just raise the death toll . Legally no government has a right to tell Doctors or their patients what they can not do. The Government was not put in place to meddle in anyone’s health care and Legally with the HEPPA law no one even has the right to know what procedures your doctor is or is not doing. Any Laws they pass or don’t pass is irrelevant because it’s against our civil rights. It goes against every thing our government was set up to do. Bible thumpers and busy bodies can scream all they want but it’s NONE of their business!
Those other countries aren't fighting over who is more right (like the USA is with Republicans and Democrats) and are focusing on what is best for the children, regardless of political party

In my childhood, child care system was free and very good, all activities for children were free, all summer camps were very chip, even overnight camps in the forests for 24 days. I like this system.
With no grandparents living at home or single house income to be enough to raise a family we need robots.
Universal childcare. Universal healthcare. The rest of the developed world has these things, why not us?

Why are people having kids they can't afford? Don't have them unless someone can be home with them. What's the point of having a kid if the parents aren't going to be the ones raising them

The childcare crisis is a parenting crisis. Parents need to take the responsibility and support and be supported by a competent education system. Throwing government money has proven failure repeatedly.

Here's a clue, don't have kids if you have to farm them out to strangers to raise them, if the system is so broken you need to be a wage slave just to exist in it why would you bring an innocent life into it to suffer too? If people are having kids now when the world is in such a terrible state it's because they're selfish.
I agree. Having a child is a CHOICE, and one must save and prepare so they CAN BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE. I don’t have children for that reason. I am not prepared to take care of a child right now.
What about families that have to shift from one income (stay at home mom that watched the kids) households to two income households due to unforeseen circumstances? What is your suggestion for those families?

Well having a full time job doesn't allow you to be with your kids all day. So you are kinda dependant on strangers for cleaning your house and taking care of your children

I do not want to pay more taxes as someone who can barely make ends meet as it is. Our government has failed on so many things, they can't even fix potholes, I don't want to give them one more dime.

Where else would your tax money go? To the firefighters who put out other people's fires? To the police who respond to other people's emergencies? To the politicians and public servants in other people's districts? To the construction and road maintenance projects in other people's hometowns? To other people who are 62 or older (Social Security)? We ALL benefit from a universal healthcare/childcare system dip💩. Unless you're rich, in which case we couldn't care less about you.

I am 39. I have never had a child because I can't afford it. I don't expect the society at large to shoulder the expense of people I brought into this world. Maybe this woman in Louisiana should not have had 5 children!!!

Maybe I just surround myself with hard work and positivity. People who hold themselves up by the bootstraps. I don't like anyone who feels like they are a victim, they are the most useless in the workplace and in life. My CFO and CEO, women. Direct boss, woman. My wife... smarter and stronger than me... a woman. And I'm a proud man. Stand tall. Most the women I know aren't my equals at all, they are my superiors in anything but testosterone
@@exposingthetruth3821 when you have to choose between getting ahead in your career or choosing to have kids that just shows how unaccomodating the workforce is for women . You are right there are women in high leaderships positions and who are at the top of their career but it's not unless they don't have kids or any other responsibilities so that they can commit to their job 100% . Almost all men never have to face that dilemma in life and that's where the disparity comes from
