I'll take the studio version where Kurt actually remembers the lyrics. This version he forgets them and just says gibberish. "I'm sick of paying for the loveboat" can't be denied.
Nirvana is so simple. It's different from all the metal bands who play solely for skill and to sound cool. Nirvana played and didn't give a shit what anyone else said. It's awesome! Long live Nirvana in the midst of all this shitty mainstream!
what's skill is Dave taking Dale's crafty weird drum part and turning it into a powerhouse and performing it with perfect technique, true to the original. this shit's crazy
I bet that verse beat's a difficult beat to play... you have to lift your foot off the high hat pedal, strike the top cymbal, then close the pedal quickly to create that hi-hat effect MEANWHILE your right foot has to be hitting the kick drum.
***** milk is super simple but i get what you're saying .. what he's doing on high hat is tough. dave is fantastic and i know who he is. i saw a lady fall off her bike today and it looked like her wrist snapped
So basically this song is tough to play because Dave can ride the high hat with his foot? You must have never heard Matt Cameron play, as he does that in basically every Soundgarden song ever.
I swear, this is one of my favorite Nirvana songs. I think Kurt was singing it like that because of the bootleggers, but who cares. It still came out good to me.

I didn’t know Beeswax was played in 1992. I thought it was dropped from shows in 1988 like Hairspray Queen, Downer, Mexican Seafood, and Aero Zeppelin.
Nirvana haters say Kurt sucks at guitar but they are wrong. His technique is so original and fun to watch.
I think his lack of “proper guitar playing knowledge ” paved way for his creativity on guitar. Plus he could wield feedback like a weapon. So bad ass
