I'm fairly new to whiskey and always looking to expand my horizons, but as you well know, the allocated stuff can be hard to come by in these here parts. 🤣 Looking forward to the Virtue Lounge, I'll be visiting! I walked into my local Sam's Club one morning and there was 6 Woodford Reserve HBE 2023 sitting in the plastic special case with NO CISTOMER LIMIT. Yea. I grabbed 2 at $125 each. Best 90 of my life. 🇺🇲😎🥃💪🔥
Just finished my JD12, which I really really enjoyed. It was one of those where I was like "you gotta try this one" to everyone I knew, but wasn't going to try and make it last a long time like I am with RR13 or something like that.
I happen to have one of the Woodford Historic Barrel Entry Series 18, and I have been saving it for a special occasion to share with my wife. Every review I see makes me want to immediately rip it off of the shelf and open it. Trying so hard to resist!
I love the bottle of BK Knighted that I have. So good for a finished MGP. Almost makes me want to get a subscription. I really need to drive the hour down to visit their place in Bourbon MO too. Also, thanks for turning me onto that RD1. Great stuff.

215 days into the year - the year is half done. love the mathing ! i was able to try the 10, enjoyed it but wasnt floored on a trip down to KY - how much better is the JD12 than the JD10
You guys should try any of the Saints Alley Bourbons from Ironroot Republic. It’s pretty findable at total wines near me and it’s another limited release. Not terribly priced at around 80 bucks and the juice is amazing.

Stopped at the new Holland distillery in Holland and in Saugatuck. Both locations said they’ve been out of the toasted barrel for weeks now. Name dropped your channel on the recommendation. Bumming I couldn’t get any for how many time you guys have hyped it. I am local michigander so hopefully will get it sometime.
Believe that was only a special release. They announce it on their Facebook, they usually sell out in about a week. They did just put out a single barrel hazmat malt that's supposed to be phenomenal

Rio will still have some releases this year. The transfer of ownership has caused a delay in shipping. Here in Texas only a handful of bottles trickled out to the public before the transfer of the company. Penelope rep has told me it’s still coming

What about Michters 10 bourbon or 10 year Rye. Both Amazing. Also had have a Binnys Bardstown Single barrel. 127.4 proof. It’s taste like if Stagg and Rare Breed had a baby. So good.

She would be able to grab the normal small batch bottle, but the limited edition toasted barrels sell out the day of release.
