Your videos are so enjoyable, so well done - visually, auditorily only to be topped by your presentation, relaxing voice and above all, knowledge and wisdom! Much gratitude for your service!
I love this spice, I have it before bed in hot milk along with cinnamon, cardomman, ginger and turmeric. It is also lovely grated in homemade winter soups and stews, you only need a little though.
Your video is extraordinary splendid. It's so high quality. I love it, but why does UA-cam show on the first pages only really bad quality videos on nutmeg? :)) I was disappointed honestly because I wanted to find a good material with a person that I could trust. Feel their energy, see them, see that they are really committed to helping us. I only found you because I kept looking at more videos and more recommendations, because I could not believe that I did not find anything good
Hello Sarah, thanks for appreciating the nutmeg video. Glad you found it and hoping you'll enjoy the rest of the 100+ videos on the channel. Not sure why YT makes it difficult to find better quality videos, but glad you kept looking!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. The plant world is amazing 🌿 Nutmeg is one of my favorite spices. I sprinkle it in my coffee or make a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, allspice, clove and nutmeg. Its a recipe I found while watching Alwyn Oak here on Utube. 🌿
Thank you Diana. I’ve always loved when my local coffee shop grates real nutmeg on top of my chai ☕️. It’s become a ritual. Now hearing your video you’ve inspired me to make some warming nutmeg drinks at home. Cheers 💚🍯
Nutmeg and vanilla in warm coconut milk is so cozy after dinner. I like nutmeg as a digestive spice because it doesn’t make me sweat like some of the other digestives.
i love that you wear linen its so awesome i recently learned about linen in a bible study its very very interesting and i feel your a lady who might have something to share with us about the health benefits great presentation thank you so much
Thank you for speaking on this remarkable Jewell!...I was given loads of nutmeg and it is still encased in mace.....is it possible for you to speak on the awesomeness of mace? Peace & Blessings to you always!
Oh, you are lucky to have so much intact nutmeg, and that it still has mace on it. I must say that I don't have access to mace and have not used it much.
Hello Jane! Nice friend who can bring you fresh nutmeg from Grenada. Not sure how long the nutmeg seed stays fragrant and useful. Can you grate some and see if it still has any flavor and aroma left in it? What does it taste and smell like? Does it seem sawdust-like?
Hi Dina.. I stumbled over ur video.. I see u don’t like using nutmeg in powder, but I live in rural area my grocery store don’t carry the nut . so I wonder how much u think to use in drink since it not fresh.. my brand is McCormick.. I never knew it good for digestion.. Ik ginger good for digestion and migraines , I can get ginger root fresh here , I enjoy that better then powder … I do enjoy ur channel.. love to hear more of the diff spices used for medicine purposes. I’m going to look thru u videos, I trying to find info on turmeric I heard it good for inflammation, I try using powder and herbal teas, but not much of results .. can’t get this herb in grocery.. I’m on tight budget to buy online.. We do have Amish in our town but don’t know if they use this stuff or sell it.. Do u use SASSAFRAS ?? I remember my great grandma used it for colds back in day.. I can’t find that either some people say it illegal to have.. I don’t know.. thank u so much for ur lovely and pleasant atmosphere on ur channel very cozy and relaxing… God bless…
Thanks for your comment. Without tasting your nutmeg powder, I can't really comment on how much to use. Does it taste strong to you? If yes, then use the amount I suggest in the video (also see video text). If not, then add a touch more. Thanks for your suggestion on making more videos on spices...it's on my mind. I do love sassafras. I love the tree and its leaves for salad. I gather tender new leaves in the growing season. Be well.
@@DinaFalconi ur very welcome, thank you for ur reply.. I’ll have to re taste it, thanks for ur help.. I finally did find sassafras tea, I was looking up found this brand Pappy's Sassafras Instant Tea Concentrate and found it at Kroger’s but not in herb but by reg teas… do u know much of this brand? It smells like root beer lol.. how often can you drink it? My grandmother passed away, I can’t ask her.. thank u again…

Someone brought me fresh nutmegs from Grenada but it was a LONG time ago. How long do those seeds last? Love this cozy video. Thanks Dina.
