- Come and walk the streets of Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with me in Part II of my Rio de Janeiro vlog. In this vlog, I take a walk through the neighborhood of Ipanema, enjoying the calm and quiet rainy morning. After meeting up with my boyfriend and our friends, we walk to a Cafe for lunch, then catch a ride to a different part of Rio de Janeiro to go to the Aquarium. We end the day with some dfelicious drinks by the beach as the clouds part. The next morning, the sun comes out as I take my drone out to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.
Later on, I met my boyfriend for a delicious breakfast at O Forno Do Bairro, before walking around the neighborhood. I then change a bit of my personal style after being influenced by the local Brazilians, before heading to the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro.
We end the vlog with a delicious dinner and a beautiful sunset on Praia da Ipanema. Until next time, Rio!

Love Rio, need to go back... I stayed in Copacabana, but Im not swimming in that water.. the beaches outside of Rio are amazing and clean. It is a wild party city.. must do a favela tour... thats well all the beautiful people are 🤩😛🤣

As a Brazilian American born and raised in Queens NY, speaking Portuguese has definitely made understanding Spanish a lot easier. There are still a lot of differences but overall I can easily have a conversation in Spanish if they don't speak TOO quick lol. Glad you got to experience Rio and hope you visit Salvador if you ever do go back. Make sure to try some Acarajé!
My father’s side of my family is Portuguese from Portugal. They speak Portuguese, but he never taught me and my sister. I wish he did.

Never have I seen Rio NOT a vibe! Looks like a party at the end, did you run into Peachy Boy? (ha) Your drone shots and video of the sights were spot on, looked very professional. Brazil, Venezuela, parts of Colombia have some beautiful places and beautiful people. I'm surprised you didn't hit the gyms there. Ahhh, you probably did without the camera, don't blame you.
