"Whiplash" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released as the first single from their debut album, Kill 'Em All, and the band's debut single overall. The song has been covered a number of times, most notably by Motörhead, whose version won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.[1]
"Whiplash" was first played in October 23, 1982, and was one of the last songs Metallica wrote for Kill 'Em All.
The single also includes fake live performances of "Seek & Destroy" and "Phantom Lord", which are actually alternate studio recordings with overdubbed crowd noise.[2]

San Diego 92' and Seattle 89' Whiplash is always Brutal , Heavy and Madness

I got into the mosh pit at an Iron Maiden concert got knocked on my ass looking up at the scoreboard and then I felt about eight set of hands picking me up. Awesome experience
Back in 1983 I was 13 years old when this Metallica album was released and damn, I nearly did my dad insane playing this record over and over. It was superfast, ultraspeedy, hypersonic and noone had ever heard anything like this before.

guys come on mixed it up a little metalal rock is the comercial equivlant of your brains being fried likeee the egg commeercial hey you do realize this type of music has ben played by sub par bands been played for years it, snothing special . I havebeen a mash pit back in the late 80,s wiht a punk rock band trying to to get people safely out of them back in NY. metal rock is such the same sound of expolsion of instruments and vocals. trust me you will get tired of it quickly if you have any sense >try a band like "streetwalkers which has some artistic value. instead of bands like metal who just scream and instrustments as loudly with no value. I can get a chimpamze band to do that it,s ashame you,ve fallen for it later in life you.ll regret
