Thank you for showing us Paul's yard. I have own many old car's we are only care takers of them and there is a day you have to pass them on to the next care taker.
I have seen car's that I built year's later still being taken care of that makes me feel good the person that got it liked it as much as I did.
So true my friend . Thanks for watching and commenting
Its May 2023 in Abq NM and I just found your channel. Good stuff! Hope you're still exploring. Thank you for sharing. 🌸
wow junkyard heaven really enjoyed that thank you !
Love it!
Interesting video, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching Doug
The ‘59 Buick and Cadillac , to me , were the pinnacle of the finned cars- the Coupe de Ville was styling taken to its outrageous limit that year.
Junkyards are super cool especially the ones with classic cars in them
Bring some of those to Australia paul
Hello I just want to say thanks for showing OS the youtubers. Your video there are some asom cars end truck
No problem bro I think that people like you makes things much more beautiful
Tank you so much
I need that Plymouth 6:15😍
She's a beaut...hope you get your dream some day! : )
Great find's
Love These Roswell Letters/ signs
Yeah that whole exploration was great !!
Just wanted to let you know that these videos are so interesting and are very therapeutic for me Gary. Every time I watch them I see something I hadn't noticed before and particularly these car/junk yard and also the abandoned buildings ones. Riveting stuff (literally lol) ...
Thanks Sub # 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great video! Good camera work and quality!
Thanks for watching and commenting
I just came back from a 3 hr ride from Roswell trying to find all the junk yards to find a parts car or parts for my 63 nova wagon.. I couldnt find this place anywhere.. I found a place called Diamond with alot of cars, I didnt go inside the yard but was able to talk to the owner from the posted phone number (didnt have any nova wagons)... There were other places that looked like it was closed years ago (A1 salvage) but with a ton of cars just sitting. Across the street was another place with tons and tons of cars, seen a guy by the opened gate as soon as i asked him about the cars he quickly said none are for sale, so i kept moving along. Good luck just wanted to share my first time roswell experience.
U get into it..then again..hell ya..be nice to own all that..
Cool video and a Thumbs Up !
Thanks it was a great place !!!
Your videos have spurred me to look into the history of the USA automobile industry and the development of road travel and the highway systems. Before today I'd actually never heard of the Lincoln Highway between New York and San Fransisco. I'd only ever heard of Route 66. It's all so interesting how it developed firstly from bicyclists banding together to improve conditions which led Carl Fisher to rally the automotive industry to privately fund roads initially with amazing amounts of money being pledged except for Henry Ford who felt that the roads should be fully Government-funded - about which he was eventually proved to be right. Carl said he wanted to get a proper road established before he was too old to enjoy it - good philosophy.
I've got to check out the Australian history of motor vehicles and road transport more fully now too.
Yeah I love all History but especially Transportation history . I learn from your replies as well . Can you imagine the old junkyards in the outback of Australia!!! Thanks again for watching and commenting .
Nice old video......wander if any of these cars and trucks exist today after 3 year's on the road, 🙏😎
I want the white '69 Chevy!
Nice place because of less grass to eat the cars faster like some others out there. Most of then are in real good shape too.
Good point, thanks for watching !!!!
@@alifeworthfinding2838
You are welcome and Merry Christmas to you also.
Makes me think of the series Highway Patrol.
Loved the old Buick cop cars on that show
Great place, wish your video was longer and less edited. Want ti take in the whole place. Release a longer version.
We are lucky enough to have been to Paul"s Yard and its a great place to reminisce for sure!! Just about anything you want to find is probably here!!
What town is it in?
Yes...what town is this in ?? Thank you
Sweet junk yard! The rear quarter panels being radius to accommodate a larger wheel and the hole in the hood was the first indications that 55 potentially saw some action!
If nothing else allot of beer drinking and imagination ultimately grown men making engine noises laughing as if they were five years old..
There are yards like this in Texas as well. Unfortunately, I see a lot of the newer yards dont care for the classics and will crush them quickly.
Thanks for watching, I'm heading down to the Lone Star State in a month I hope I find some great places .
I had a 1972 GMC Suburban I wanted to cut the quarter panel's off a 1963 Cadillac to custom fit the Suburban but my brother wouldn't let me have them he gave the car to an auto wrecker that crushed the car. He could have at least saw part of his car on my 1972 GMC Suburban I ended up giving it to my nephew that still owns it to this day I rebuilt everything on that truck when I owned it I had a lot of people that wanted to buy it. The stance and I had a plan before starting to build a custom I made photo copies and drew it out first color stance and the modification. Makes the job much easier to give an idea what you are going to spend.
Yeah I know lots of Paul's cars wont be crushed , they will find new owners .
Just Wish This Guys Would make it a top priority to preserve these cars as soon as they park them on their property windows down busted out no tarps damn shame.
Well this place was originally a junkyard that has survived through the decades
Anybody know where this is located? I need a 1949 or 50 Ford Two Door Coupe...
I want that 58 plymouth
Great video thank you for your time showing this.Any way we can contact Paul for buying a car or parts?
Hope Danny from Counts Customs in vegas sees this. Hed love this place
Oh this is roswell right. Ive driven past this place whole life. I was always told go with respect or dont go at all
You could be in a junk yard in 1957 and this is what it would look like.... Filled with 60s cars lol. The guy didn't do jack shit his dad collected all those cars. Now he's looking to cash out.
Sounds like the one in Mojave California was started in 1960 as well
5:35 A 1959 Pontiac. Famous for its "wide track." The small block for that year was 326 cu. in.
Yeah PONTIAC had a 326 and Chevy had a 327 !!! Thanks for watching !!!!
You love the old cars, too! I am old enough that I grew up with them. The Chevy small block in 1959 was the 283 version, so Pontiac had the bragging rights for that year with their 326.
The 327 came out in 1962. I had a beauty of a gently used 1962 Impala hardtop with the 327 4bbl, factory air, all power (on a Chevy!! ). Good at touring. One of those kind we wish we hadn't sold. The 326 was a sweet engine, I drove my Dad's 1959 Catalina. Great channel!
Incorrect.......yes 59 was 1st year of wide track.....although pontiac had ONLY 1 engine choice for 59.......was also the 1st yr of the 389.......326 came out in 63 tempest lemans only.......never came in a fullsize car....also all pontiacs from the 55 287 to the 71 455 all used the same block and head.......no small block or big block like chevy ford or mopar.......although 301 is only 301 due to low deck design.......
@@stevenhagebusch9561 You sir,are correct.
Holy Moly Batman🤙
It's too bad people w/ collections of cars like this wait too long to let them go, as the people that are most interested in them are too old, or have passed. Those of us my age have move on to cars we enjoyed in OUR youth, 70s-80s-90s.
Yes I agree but they still preserve them and they will eventually find new owners . Thanks for watching.
I'm just looking for a straight drivers door for a 1964 Buick Skylark 2 door coupe without the window post pillars and I don't care about any of the internal parts in it all I need is the door shell itself.
Great video, just wish it had been much longer.
Random Randomness thanks so much for watching
No, the most iconic tail fins were the 1959 Cadillac ! Not the 57 Chevy !
Agreed sick of seeing 57 chevs at shows I have a 59 Buick and a 60 you never see them and look waaay better
My dad lives in Albuquerque
Where is this exactly
Hello
It's possible that you still have a back bumper for a 67 Plymouth fury 3
Thanks
No Corvairs? ;-D
You didn't look too good, he didn't show many cars but he did show a corvair.
Oops, they were so obvious (Greenbrier at 2:56 and '63? coupe at 3:08), I must have nodded off (any others I missed)? ;-)
I'd love to have that 53 Olds
Plymouth had that style before Chev.
Plenty of good parts left, how big was this yard?
I'm thinking maybe a couple of acres it wasn't huge you could walk the whole thing in like 45 minutes
Wonder if Paul would sell that GMC van?
Lots of people ask that about all his cars
Wish these cars were still on the road.and all those imports and vehicles of today were dumped.
Grand video..I just bought a classic and now I feel like I'm apart of the USA Classic cars family....
Thanks for watching
A Life Worth Finding how can we contact the owner to purchase a vehicle
i know where this place is his last car he sold was a 59 wagon for 9500.
Damn that seems high for a yard car
Where this at
That is a cool yard but I didn't see too many automobiles that would be wort the time and money to bring back from the dead because there mostly 4 doors or stuff that no one really likes . There were a few trucks and that van would be about the only things that I personally would want ...
Yeah I found by accident and thought it would make a kool video . When 2 doors aren't available we will have to restore 4 door .
My boss Mr Shirley thinks I ought to have one of those cars or trucks. Said he would buy one for me where does he get a hold of you?
How can i reach paul" 😊
Where at in southern New Mexico is this place?
Mariano Zamora I believe I was like about half hour outside of Las Cruces , heading north . I think Rt 25 north .
Please send info on how to get to this place....I am John from North Carolina...thanks
I dont have his number and it's hard to explain how to get there . It's in New Mexico. If he's there when I'm there I'll post the number here
If Paul was here in L.A. County. The state would do eminent domain they would find a loophole that you owed back taxes or whatever it is and steal your cars and crush them and then charge you $500, 000 to crush them
James Burdzinski really there is a grave yard in Fresno off the old 99 with many cars like in this video they are all still there.
Mostly 4 door cars some would be great donor cars for rebuilds
57 ford fins were much cooler!!! That's probably why they outsold the chevy.
Classic Ford vs Chevy
The 57 chevy was way more beautiful than the 57 ford no comparison
@@terrypresnell7874 No Way!!! The 57 Fairlane 500 was super Cool!!!!! The 57 Chevy was just a repackaged 56. Nothing more.
Were in New Mexico is it located?
If I remember correctly it was near Las Cruces
chris cornelius I think Roswell nm
Hello, you never stated where this is and or contact info. He says it's time to sell.
He asked me not to put location in the video for obvious reasons . Sorry but to many dishonest people wreck it for the honest ones .
ok, well ide like to contact him on purchasing the 1963 chevy impala 4 dr ht. thanks
A Life Worth Finding it kills me that the old timers won’t sell them or going to do something with them and never do they think they never get old and one day they realize there old as hell and by then the cars are worse than ever and he wants a high price for them . ( greed ) and he will die with a load of junk in the end .. I don’t respect the old timers .. there greedy to there death . If they let people buy them and restore them that would be awesome and he would of made bank . But no .. remember he was greedy.
57 Chevy wasnt all that popular when it was new. Ford out sold Chevy that year. The 57 and 58 Plymouths were far better looking!
I like the look of the 55 Chevy better than 57 .
i made the mistake of buying a 1957 ford-------------talk about junk. the 312 engine was one of the worse ever. switched to chevy after that.
Hey buddy, it's time to let go and free these caged birds before they are worthless. Give up the coral and let these horse's run wild on the road once again!🔨🔩🔧🍻🇺🇸😎
I agree and at least they are preserved in the dry New Mexico climate . I heard he is selling some of the cars . Thanks for commenting
Jealousy leads to hate and hate leads to suffering. Something for all the little girls that call them self men that hide behind anonymity and leave negative comments on my channel or any other channel . I'd handle anyone of you trolls with an open handed bitch slap . I don't need to hide behind an anonymous account . I travel the country fulltime and document it what do you do troll ??? A Man who talks shit behind the mask of anonymity is not a man but a sorry little bitch .
Any impalas I’m your yard ???
And your right don't tresspass.
If he's wanting to sell, why not: list the vehicles. their wanted prices, his address, and let you pass it on. The narrator is just wandering about thinking he's found an antique treasures chest. Obviously the owner doesn't want to sell, unless he can get exorbitant prices. Rusty 'rollers' aren;t treasures, they're junkers.
Oh, look!!! A 59 Ford Galaxie!!!!!! Oh!! if the hotrodders knew it was there!!! Hey!!! A new soup can 57 chevy!!!!!
Such a great place thanks for watching !!!
Hello, how much is the Chevy at 5:14 ? Please reply......thanks John Steelman
John I will be rolling through there in about a month I'll get his number for you
don't know status today but owner needs to give cars away before next owner crushes them all. IMO
I'm sure he will sell when he is ready
Gotta love the big tree where the Chevy engine used to be at 5 min. in. Reminiscent of my song "Ode to America's Old Automobiles" which can be heard at ua-cam.com/video/eeUhNOmwyCg/v-deo.html
I definitely will check it out
Where in New Mexico is this place I live in South East New Mexico.
This was about an hour north of Las Cruces
@@alifeworthfinding2838 ok thank you

Ok chill tf
I cant find the location on the web, does someone by chance hqve an address or phone number?
Its on the south end of town hwy 285 Roswell, NM
Junkyard number can be said please.....
It was the space age not the atomic age.
Space age and atomic age are one and the same . The atomic era was Manhattan project era . These cars were built in that era . Thanks
I thought the space age was 1960, that's what the camera was on when I heard the comment, it was on fin cars of 1960, yeah you are right if you meant the beginning of the fins were about1947 on Cadillac's, sorry about that.
Can someone show me a website or a UA-cam video that have antique cars like Impalas Regals cutlasses for sale let me know please I appreciate it
Spend $10,000 . On a rusty junk car ,and u got a $10,000 . Junk car ...why ? ...break the chains of big oil .
It's all about big oil
Shut up
Go to
Indy.
Do you have a phone number for Paul’s or a address
I had it but I cant find it , I'm a nomad so I tend to lose stuff . I remember that it was off NM 25 about hour north of Las Cruces
Roswell is not an hour north of las cruces. It is several hours east.
100% junk ! Nobody wants this stuff any more.
That 4 door impala is sweet as hell thats my dream car to have one day if i had the money id snap that up and restore it
