Custom Sauna Build - One Year Follow Up | Any mistakes or problems? Questions answered

Built a custom sauna from scratch without a kit over a year ago. All cedar interior. Huum Drop 4.5 KW heater. This video is to follow up on how it is doing, answer some of your questions I have received, and also let you know what worked and what needed some fixes.
I answer some of the questions people had in the video series about electrical, the floor, the door, and other items of interest. Please post in the comments if you have any other questions.

Your sauna looks amazing. Thank you for the video. I found it to be extremely helpful for my build. You explanation of he bench bracket, and high temp watertight conduit was very helpful.
I'm installing the HUUM 7.5kW and had no idea high temp awg wire was a thing. I found Taking extra time to research is critical to the success of sauna building.

Thank. That’s awesome you were able to build a sauna too. I know it takes longer and maybe some people think they are necessary, but I only want to do a job once instead of having to come back later and fix a mistake. I also want things to be safe for my family.

How exactly do you call the Door closers? I was not able to find any similar product in Home Depot.

I'm curious to know if you had any particular issues on the overall build of the Sanara

No issues. Mine was precut so I had to put everything together but it made it easier to be able to move by myself. I didn’t like the really rough texture of the siding and beams because I have kids so I sanded everything. This is supposed to void the warranty on the siding but it’s fine because I finished everything. Everything was cut accurately and the directions were very easy to follow. I have never built any building this size but it was easy and a fun project

Was any of the wood inside or outside finished or you just left the raw cedar?

You do not want to finish any of the wood inside the sauna because the steam could evaporate it and then the occupants would be breathing it. There are some special oils you can add to the seat to avoid staining from the people sweating but I have not seen this issue, so I have not added it. The cedar is fairly resilient on its own, so I'm leaving it without finishing unless I see some issues in the future.
