- A rendering error causes this video to cut out around for a few seconds a couple times while footage of the show is playing. Even though this error might bother me for the rest of my life, I'm not going to fix it because we can't define ourselves by our mistakes, much like how the Flash writers make countless mistakes and then ignore them for episodes at a time.

He'll have to brace himself for the crazy Iris fans who call anyone who doesn't like her racist. People hate her because she's a boring character with no personality except "Barry's wife", does nothing to help him and his team and is kidnapped and nearly killed by their enemies all the time, she's a Mary Sue who's blindly loved by all the characters and is never called out for doing wrong and is instead treated like she has no flaws and can do no wrong. She's also portrayed as kind and caring but is actually selfish and thinks the world revolves around her. Her fans who say "You only hate her because she's black" are projecting since they only like her because she's black. Instead of wanting an interesting character of a different race according to them you have to like a boring one just because she's a different race.

Fun fact, Grant Gustin is a fantastic dancer (and singer). Several actors in the Arrowverse did musical theater. Both Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) were main characters on Glee.
Season 7 is, by far, the worst one yet but considering how you don't really care any of these characters anymore, I think you'll find hilariously it bad.

@@united8586 I dont think so. Its villain wasnt anything good but atleast they kept the same kind of villain for the entire season. S07 makes some shit out of the speed force out of nowhere, turns her into a good guy with the power of some images of the world being destroyed (even though the force does not have to give a shit) then spend the rest with endless filler until they finally get to the one we were waiting for all this time, and then he is just a cheaper reverse flash. Way worse. Flash writers dont have any ideas and think every villain has the same motives. Its deterioration is so bad that I am sure nothing will ever be good on it anymore.

The start of season 8 seems good. But I don't trust them to make the entire season good.
Actually, council of ricks are themselves are based on Council of Reeds from Fantastic Four, where all other Reed Richardrs' were orphaned (their dads were pulled into a gladiator fight and only Our's survived) so they became more detached and focused on science, eventually crossing itno multiverse and meeting each other, so they decided to gang up and fuck around.
Interesting. Does that have anything to do with the Loki finale and He Who Remains’ explanation of the multiverse war? Cause isn’t he a descendant of Reed Richards?

But yes, the Council of Reeds is not dissimilar to what Kang describes as how it started with him; and just like with his story, there were several evil Reeds and (I don't remember clearly cause I didn't finish the arc) but I believe they (or someone) was going to blow up the multiverse but Doom partially stopped them
Yeah, the worst thing Rick and Morty did was take a bunch of pre-existing sci-fi concepts, make them in a mainstream setting, and doom people who have read the original to a lifetime of falsely attributing things to Rick and Morty. It’s really not that high concept.

All for a cliche "you don't need powers to be a hero" scene. We know that so why do shows like this treat it like some deep thing? And it was rendered pointless when he fitted himself with technology that gave him the same powers anyway.

I had a dream the other night that Grant Gustin wanted The Flash tv show to just end already. So in the penultimate episode of the series, Barry was, he didn’t look like Barry Allen anymore. His hair was black with white frost tips, his eyes were black and his Flash suit was black with red lightning all over. The episode was just Barry murdering all of members of Team Flash including Joe, Cecile, Nora, Bart and finally Iris in brutal detail for 40 minutes, that was whole episode. Then in the final episode, he kills Reverse Flash and it becomes a creepypasta where he’s staring into the camera with his eyes bleeding, and his skin decomposing while static overlays it for the next 40 minutes. I remember I was talking to someone who was going like, “The Flash can still be good sometimes”, and I said “did you see the final episodes of it?”, and we watched them together and we were like “is, is this it?” No one was scared by it, everyone was just really confused with it.
Sounds better than what they have planned for Season 8 which is apparently about Iris having a "time sickness." Because Eric Wallace still hasn't gotten it through his head that no one but Westallen shippers cares about Iris. I'm also convinced he fancies Candice Patton and thinks revolving the show around Iris will get her to bang him.

It's especially odd considering she was ALSO in The Mandalorian as Bo Katan, and she did a great job in that role!

My bets bad direction since its a tv show where character directing is often less focused on and in many other instances of good actors doing a bad job its been the directing (the star wars prequels, twilight)

I dropped off at the same point. After the whole crossover shenanigans where Arrow dies, I dropped all CW TV and I am much happier in my life.
Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends should’ve had final seasons along with Crisis. Then pass it on with Batwoman, Supeman and Lois and Stargirl.
@@comixproviderftw_02 Nah. Batwoman should have been dropped after its first season. Instead it doubled down with an even worse 2nd season and is somehow getting a 3rd one despite the terrible ratings of the previous ones.

I agree Crisis is a good enough end point for the original 4 shows, then just have Superman & Lois be a sort of epilogue for the Arrowverse while Stargirl does its own thing in another Earth.

Bro everyone loves season one because it was as you said “guy who runs fast solving crimes” gcpd was in every episode and a lot of time was spent there. The episodes mostly were about a meta human committing a crime and Barry uses his csi skills and his knowledge of metas to solve the crime with team flash with the mystery of who killed Barry’s mom in the background for the season. WHY CANT WE GO Back to Barry solving crimes. It worked so well, and with there being new crimes almost every episode it was interesting. In this season the episodes are all about random shit (Ralph searching for girl, Cisco’s ex dies, Chester needs hoes, iris wants jacket, Barry’s gonna die, pudding mf, Godspeed shows up. there is too much shit crammed in. Every episode has like 3 plots and subplots. It is so bad that every episode has to have the last 15 minutes wasted wrapping up all the side plots. Bro the writers have the brains of goldfish
Season 1 isn't great but it's my favorite, with Season 2.

Actually I watched because there were super cool speedster villians. Most of meta humans had plot armor for 35 minutes of episode. Reverse, Zoom, Savitar. We did really see potential of speedster. How these speedsters doesn't care about the meta human powers and guns. Last good scene was Thawne's killing everyone in Iron Heights. I couldn't take Godspeed seriosly, because we didn't see how is he killing citizens and things like that.
To my surprise, the general consensus for season 7 seems to be "I can't believe they ruined all the promise of season 6 now the show is bad" which I feel like is something we should have all seen coming.
Yeah, that's something that always annoyed me about the show. It seems to have forgotten Reverse Flash isn't a Wells.

It's not even a CW Show it's an HBO show it just airs on the CW so it makes sense why it's actually good and doesn't have a huge team with irrelevant side plots that don't contribute anything to the story.

Damn, this video is an hour and ten minutes- and somehow you managed to keep my attention for that entire time. This video was great, and a great way to "rewatch" the season... without actually having to sit through the season.
The thing I hate about CW shows is the repetitious formula.. Some person feels guilty because they did a thing, some other person has to calm them down and tell them that they're perfect and never do anything wrong. Then they go to do some other thing, but before that happens, someone else has to talk another person through it because that person feels insecure about their abilities. Basically most of these shows these days are one person talking through another's insecurities.
Guess I shoulda seen this coming after watching 20-sum seasons of Supernatural.. Literally every episode of that show is Dean or Sam promising that they will never lie to the other, followed by an entire episode built around them lying to each other..
There is LITERALLY no worse plot for anticipation, than having the characters in the show lie to one another. I mean, it completely ruined Merlin as a series..

Man they made such a big deal about Barry possibly dying in Crisis, then proceeded to kill off a disturbing amount of side characters off screen, leading me to wishing Crisis had never happened. I kept watching this show for Wells and now I have no reason to continue watching it.

I think the first to pull off the idea of a council was Reed Richard's, i cant remember the full plot, but there was a Reed Richard's council and a few had the infinity gauntlet, and did stuff like try to cure world hunger, the only scene I can remember was a Reed Richard's that made an entire planet that just grows wheat, it was pretty neat

Antimatter isn’t new, some amounts of it along with dark matter were released in the particle accelerator explosion.
Barry didn’t figure out Mirror Iris wasn’t Iris because Barry is an easily persuaded tool, both Joe and “Iris” essentially say it’s Iris and he just believes them.
The only reason he started to put everything together is because “the real Iris wouldn’t give up on us” and I’m pretty sure that’s only relating to the fact she kicked him out.
Mirror Iris acts exactly like Iris except the writers acknowledge the mirror one is a horrible person but won't admit the real Iris is too.

@@Lavenderlilac In Season 1 Barry was creepily obsessed with her and she got Barry and Eddie to fight over her by saying she'd marry Eddie one minute then hinting she'd leave him for Barry the next. You'd think Iris a cop's daughter would know police cases are confidential but she told Eddie that if he didn't reveal every detail of every case of his he didn't love her. She didn't want Barry but didn't want any other woman to have him either and broke up Barry and Linda out of jealousy. In Season 3 she thought her being lonely without Barry was more important than saving all reality showing her selfishness. At the start of Season 4 you'd think Barry walked into the Speed Force laughing maniacally the way Iris talked. She treats a heroic sacrifice like cruel abandonment. But she's at her worst in Season 5 caring more that Nora doesn't hate her anymore than about Thawne manipulating her, thought he'd changed when he was just using her to escape execution and told Barry she didn't care that Thawne killed his mother and it didn't matter to her.
honestly the first half of the season with bloodwork and the crisis stuff was fine but the mirror stuff and all that is where they lost most people
Bloodwork was fantastic.
The first half was actually very entertaining when it came out, considering we didn’t know how Crisis would go. I assumed Barry would actually die and they’d have five or six episodes without him, maybe bringing Wally back. But because Crisis was so damn inconsequential, the first half is not nearly as good on rewatch.

I think I had similar opinions on this season. It started good with crisis build up, then crisis happened and was not as good as the build up, then the end of the season... exists. Season 7 was sooooooooo much worse, I wanna see your reaction to that. But I still enjoy watching the show and will watch it until the end I just really hope season 8 is good and based off the set images it looks like it will be.

the first two episodes of Season 7 (which is basically the Season 6 finale) are so damn good.
Fyi, as of season 7, Godspeed still hasn't been mentioned in the slightest. Not even a hint, maybe I'm wrong but I stopped watching after Chester verbally said "Praying emoji" and apparently Godspeed did return, I just completely forgot.
One thing that really bugs me about Mirror Lady is the fact that she is a version of Mirrormaster II but she is nothing like Evan. Like at least make her Scottish or a drug addict, give me something. Like Evan is one of my favorite flash rogues and I think they did him really dirty by making Eva basically a completely different character. They could have simply giving her another name and made her an original character, that would have probably been better than butchering him.
I think the speed force is actually berry's mother I think she was given a chance similar to Oliver I think she's a speed force god to protect her son and her son's blood and family and friends
Now, there were a bunch of web shorts with Cisco, that were just ads for like laptops and shit, and that stuff about the camera being buffed might've also been in there.

i couldn’t even finish season 7. after watching it from it’s original premiere in 2014, season 7 made me give up on the flash, for good. like, couldn’t even make it past the mid-season finale.
