Anthony's turkey hand is the best thing.
It'll be the trophy if we ever choose to do another challenge.
Oh, dude I was going to say that.
Yeah he won for sure! 🤣
Grain selection was spot on!
HANDS down the winner
Anthony wins, hands down!
I’ll show myself out.
Ha!
Mad dad respect on that pun, yo...
I love the more informal style; getting to hear y’all’s thought processes. That and I’m excited to see Josh get more time in front of the camera and letting his personality shine.
We have fun here and it's nice to let everyone see that
I was not prepared for that ending. That was spectacular.
Neither were we. That was the actual reveal of that...thing.
@@Iliketomakestuff it was pretty clear that both of your reactions were genuine. Made me laugh all the harder.
@@Iliketomakestuff art. The word you're looking for is beautiful and spectacular art
Probably my favorite video from you guys!! Anthony completely stole the show and I believe won the challenge. Much needed lighted hearted, good fun stuff in this messed up time. Thanks guys!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
When will the plans for Anthony's turkey be available? Because...well, I need that in my life.
There only needs to be one of those in the world.
@@Iliketomakestuff hehe yupp
This was so much fun to watch! I still have a smile on my face. Oh, and Anthony won the challenge hands down.
He certainly did.
"hands" down you say??
I can imagine the day -- Anthony, Film me! No no, film me! But seriously, that tray turned out beautiful, Josh. And the trivet was a complete surprise.
I really like everything we ended up making. It was a fun build.
Love the (semi) new format. Fun to see some of the No Instructions style banter come into a build. Anthony and Forby killed it with the camera work and editing.
This was a fun team event that resulted in some really nice pieces
This was such a fun one guys! I'm dying - Anthony's project is the obvious winner...haha so good!
It was so much fun!
I spit my drink out when the dust hose slipped off the planer. I must have a 12 year olds sense of humor.
Welcome to the club.
It totaly made my day an I am almost 40...
I laughed so hard i had to pause the video 🤣
Visited new Channel fai da te impariamo e ripariamo thanks 🙂👍
Sound effects make life so much better.
My girlfriend still doesn't understand why raw wood/materials make me so excited
Josh enjoys the milling process way more than I do. But the reveal is so nice
The potential for creation is exciting. It could be anything. There's no where to go but up.
For the second channel: Behind the scenes of the legendary Turkey Hand
Ha. He had to put the camera down to make that thing
Yes please!!
@@Iliketomakestuff Haha. Maybe an oral history of the Legendary Turkey Hand. Interviews with Anthony and the rest of the ILTMS crew done in a documentary style.
@@wrenchdoozer with stories of his many road trips, daring escapes and wild adventures
@@ApteryxRex Turkey Hand The Animated Series!
I love this video idea, it's awesome to see you guys come up with ideas on the spot.
It was really fun!
Best thing about Josh videos is Josh bloopers!
He's not sure how to take that, so I'll say thank you for him.
Anthony is my favorite camera man
He just shed a tear. Thank you.
Everything turned out awesome. I'm really liking the rough carved platter and napkin more than I expected to.
Thank you so much!
This is amazing timing because my Stagecraft final is a single board project but we have a 2x10
Please do more of these challenges, it looked like a lot of fun.... also, Anthony won! Excellent work.
I love the Bob/Josh dynamic! No one will be disappointed with more like this :) good job, and thank you!
Glad you like it!
Loved this!! So natural and fun!! Great work gents!!
I love the tray that Josh made. It looks amazing!
The face on Anthony's turkey got me! Just awesome!
Love the style of this shoot with the back and forth of two people explaining. Great chemistry between you two. Also, I like Josh on camera. He’s good.
The turkey was just the cherry on top of the cake!
Can you include Josh more often in the videos? I mean like the dynamic between you two is AWESOME
Enjoyed the video very Very much!
Ok: You guys HAVE to do this again. It's amazing to watch. (whoever came up with the idea... cudos). Highly entertaining - the competition, as well as, your two totally different creative processes. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing!! :)
We'll try our best!
Please do more videos like this!! Needed a laugh. Thanks Anthony 😂
Excellent idea!!! Do a whole series on challenges like this!
Really enjoyed the challenge video. It was different but still had the ILTMS feel. Very cool!
Really enjoyed watching this challenge. Well done to Josh for coming up with this idea!!
Anthony hand win the challenge
this was the most wholesome woodworking video. great job and I think that the skinny guy is wearing a LEGO man shirt
I laughed so hard at the end, great video!
Ha, so did we!
We need more videos where Bob is outside his comfort zone. I really enjoy the projects where you have minimal materials and time so you're forced to think on your feet. Makes for fun and interesting content!
Loved Anthony's turkey.
It was also a good example of the notion that there is no bad wood. It's just a matter of what you can do with it.
Awesome Walnut serving tray !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this video was awesome, love that tray, and really cool to see how differently you guys think/work with the same materials and access to the same things
OMG the ending was absolutely the best part. Amazing! Take my thumbs up, you hilarious fools. Great work!
Yeah Anthony totally won the challenge
COOL!!!!
Yay!
Ngl, that chicken/turkey at the end is probably the best looking thing there is.
Incorporating the shape of those handles into the tray was such a cool idea! I am now trying to think of a project just so I can do something like that!
I love Anthony's turkey hand. 😂
Definitely love the challenge format. In a perfect world, this is how my brother and I would spend our time. Please put these type of videos in the rotation!
That serving tray Josh made is so nice! Appreciate the fun you guys had here.
I love the format of this video, I love the fun and the chemistry that Bob and Josh have on camera, it's such a great video, you guys.
This is one of my favorite videos you have done. It’s entertaining and different. You guys gotta keep the silly in the videos. I enjoy watching it. LOL
Great job Anthony
Is it just me that would love to see a video of things to make people as gifts for Christmas?
Great vid by the way!!!
That was a super fun episode! Everything turned out great and it was a joy to just watch you guys do something fun and different.
This was awesome to watch. Thank you for sharing, and showing a different side of yourselves on camera!
It's great to see you all just have fun in the workshop!
Love the sides of the tray and how the curve of the handles flows. Very cool.
This was fantastic - I'd love to see more of these challenge style videos, I really like seeing the more off the cuff design process you go through.
I am like a toddler when it come to farts, especially unexpected farts. I had to pause the video and full belly laugh for a good minute! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Unexpected farts are our bread and butter
Beautiful projects nicely done. The turkey hand from anthony stoles the show for sure.
I really love all of these! Great video!
Yay! Thank you!
That serving tray is gorgeous. It makes me want to get some lovely wood and steal the design.
A real inspiration for any maker. Thanks guys.... I've got a bunch of cedar from a tree we had to fell so now i'm keen to get into some builds....cheers from Australia!
I really love this video! All of the making and shenanigans and the chemistry is on fire! You guys are awesome 👍
This format was awesome. More please. The interaction gives a whole new dimension. Thanks for the great work.
Great challenge idea love it! This was a really fun video
and holy crap, I laughed out loud at the turkey, the Bob face was a perfect touch
4:06 I too also tune up my tape measure before I start any project.
Love to see what you guys come up with. All super cool - especially the trivet!
Probably the best ILTMS video so far !
Bob, Josh and team, what a great episode. I second the idea below of having regular "build-offs" between the two of you and have that beautiful piece of.... euh.... art, serve as a trophy :D
Also, am looking to start some of my own Woodworking projects and your channel provides loads of inspiration and ideas, but I wanted to also leave a suggestion/request, what about a series for the "Casual DIYer", who only has access to the smaller, more common power tools (Jigsaw, cordless drill, palmsander, hand plainer, etc) and make some projects that way?
Love the channel and the content, Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the good work.
YAY! An episode with Josh!
This is great to see you brain storming as you go. Very reachable projects here. Thanks guys. Lathing for the win.
WOW!!! So Cool!!! You guys are great and I absolutely love the ending, guess you guys didn't expect Anthony to get into the challenge! Lots of creativity and smarts in this room!!!
Great challenge. You guys were out done by the Walnut turkey hand. 🦃🤚🤣
Indeed we were.
Ok I really love this video so far, I’m about half way through, and I like you showing the problems that show up from time to time in all of our shops, like the jointer issue, the bandsaw, and the hose popping off the planer. Cool video.
Sorry it’s a day late but Happy Veterans Day to Josh! Thanks for serving!
Laughed SO hard at the end xD.
I love this kind of challenges that force creativity "on the run". Cool!
great format, looking forward for more challenges like this
This was a super fun video to watch - everything about it was awesome! I loved the sound effects and also Josh's reaction to Anthony's turkey hand. Classic!
That was genuine. Anthony kept that thing secret from us the whole time.
Great video! What did y’all oil everything with? I’m new to wood working and want to be able to seal stuff especially stuff that food will be touching. Thanks for any advise!
Love seeing you both on screen cranking out projects! Fantastic!!!
I love these episodes where we can se the fun vibe during the making process.
It was really fun to make this one.
More competitions, love the dynamic filming that happens!
Man... I really loved this video concept. It was really cool to see you guys just get at it with tools, on the fly. Not to mention the projects turned out great!
Great ideas guys. Thank you for sharing and helping me to think outside the box. Also the tip of light colored pencil when working with walnut was perfect.
I really like this concept, i think you should do more videos like this 👍
Perhaps. :)
A great holiday video.
This is now officially one of my favourite videos on the internet. If I could, I would give it a double thumbs up 👍👍
Looks like you all had a blast making this video!
That serving tray is really nice !
I'm laughing so hard at the turkey looking like it's dragging its butt on the ground xD
Hey Bob, also Bob, I, sadly, don't really like to make stuff. Cool video.
What a fun video. You guys are awesome. That serving tray turned out amazing and Anthony's Bob turkey was an excellent addtion to the final spread.
I really like how this video is less 'serious' than your others. Normally every video is perfect, clean and polished, while this one shows more of the 'flaws' you encounter while making stuff :)
They both got good ideas and they can all get put to use on the supper table. Nice vid!
Fun video! The tray came out beautifully and I love the trivet idea. Might make one myself. Thanks Bob and Josh!
Awesome! Thank you!
I laughed at the turkey hand. Beautiful!
We need a full blooper reel from a lot of your previous videos. I love them so much
You know, if your two families had thanksgiving together some how, it would be an amazing combined set. Great idea for a video and I like the out of the box ideas.
It's cool that it's still a challenge even though it's loose and relaxed, and you're even helping each other.
This was such a fun video! Would love to see more informal stuff like this
Anthony came through to save the vid at the end 😉
I really liked watching this build off and look forward to more in the future.
you all make such awesome videos!
Thank you so much 😀
The large tray is amazing. The handles integrating is really cool. The small power carved tray reminds me of Mark Spagnolo’s Wood Whisperer’s holiday trays but he used a router. Router bit is like a core box but but made for trays/bowls. Can get elaborate with multiple areas in one piece. It’s possible Bob has done it before too.
Walnut toothpicks. 😂 You got me with that one.😂😂
This video put a big smile on my face for a multitude of reasons! Thank you
That was really cool. More Build offs!
that tray is beautiful. I love the trivet idea. That would be a great project for a beginner, and a great gift.
Thank you! 😊
