Ditto here. Everyone knows Johns awesome, but to have that crowd give the young guy, who seems a little bit doubtful of himself at times, praise like that was really cool to see. He needed that. More and bigger things from Jordan to come soon I’m sure.
It WARMS my heart seeing 2 of my favorite Wood Workers going back and forth on here. Feels weird to be commenting on something Blacktail without a password though.
I really like how Jordan incorporated metal into his design. That table is super cool. I would totally put that in my office. I would just want the big crack filled in with some type of resin as well. The both look awesome.
Jordan definitely deserves the table. I wish I saw the poll, I would've voted for Jordan. Love seeing people empower their employees. Awesome builds to both of you.
My vote is for Jordan's table. The steel bowties are an awesome idea. I also like the fact that there's a mix of wood and metal since I also like working with both and always like the combination. Good job, Jordan!
Awesome job guys! Look how proud Jordan is of that table. The look of pride alone after hearing about The Greats choosing his table should be enough to land that table in his house. Love the vids guys
Jordan stuck it out through a whole lotta “Dammit Jordan!” He definitely deserves to take his table home. They both turned out great, I like Jordan’s bow tie’s and John finish. You’ve been a good Mentor John. I loved seeing Jordan be proud of himself.
Two great tables! But I do like the metal inlays that Jordan did. So he will vet my vote. Hope this comment helps him get the table for his house! Awesome as always guys, thanks!
Great to see Jordan not only get more skilled, but also showing his personality, you are a great team, fun to watch. And yeah, let him keep the table. :)
Both the cookies look AMAZING! The steel bowties, tho! I'm a mechanic & welder/fabricator so Jordan's table really looks great with the industrial look. I love your channel guys!
These are my favorite type of videos on this channel! I also love when you build absurdly complicated corporate tables that incorporate the skills of everyone in the shop! Keep up the great work guys!
Jordan's face when he hears that the UA-camrs voted for him is amazing! I love the metal bowties. Very industrial. John's table is good too, but I love Jordan's!
I grew up in a counter top shop that my gpa built and my dad ran, but I never got much into wood working. I am so happy that I discovered your channel. It takes me back to when I was a kid running around the shop watching them build shit. Thanks for the high quality content.
Just the fact you assumed Jordan did the bow ties with the CNC and he knew you would so he did it the old fashioned way says he should be able to keep his table. GREAT JOB Jordan :)
John should be extremely proud of his apprentice. It is a testament to his training. But Jordan’s is definitely the one I’d purchase if I were to choose. Way to go!
I like Jordan's bowties, I think the stitches look of John's would have been better if he had stained all the bowties darker than the table, or at least not super light as is. The stitches were an awesome concept, but Jordan's was executed better and I think looks more pleasing to the eye in the end.
I am apprentice carpenter (concrete form work and welding) and can tell you that it gets easier once you get confident in your ability to learn and figure it out.
They're both beautiful, for sure. I voted for John's in the poll because of the contrast of the inlays against the darker finish. Seeing the steel leg design may have swayed my choice. Either way, very impressed with how Jordan's skills have grown over the years. Keep up the good work and awesome content, guys!
Love the fact that Jordan went outside of his comfort zone and ended up with a kick ass table!! The fact that the YT woodworkers preferred his and his genuine happiness about it made the vid for me. Now, get ya ass to Chick Fil A!!
Dudes you guys baked some saucy cookies. Great job and great job to Jordans Wood Daddy for clearly making a good impact on him and encouraging him to grow with opportunities to do it. This is exactly what a mentor should be and sometimes bosses forget they can be a boss and a mentor. Way to go man.
Love this as a format. The John vs the other 2 videos were good too. Would love to see a more complex build task done in this fashion; hidden compartments table or something similar could be a fun challenge and show off creativity.
This video was fun to watch... but the most joy i got from it... was John complimenting Jordan....which is a rarity on this channel. Both of the tables are great, but I am hoping Jordan gets to keep the table, he worked hard on it. Cheers all the way from Slovenia - Europe. Love you guys and keep the good videos coming :)
I feel like he deserves the table! It's really well done. He was scared AF putting the steel/iron stuff in there, but he did it anyway. Really brave, really cool result, it'd be awesome if he was rewarded with his own table ;)
I think Jordan picked a nicer looking cookie. I really like the look of the steel bow ties. I think I would've added one more in there and slightly smaller. I like both the leg designs and Johns top finish looks real slick.
I personally loved Jordan’s, it’s honestly the first table I’ve ever seen that I would actually pay over 10k for. Maybe the steel bow ties are just more my style!
Same, the wood just looks better honestly and the miss matching white-ish bits just stands out too much and looks out of place with the darker finish where as the steel blends in with the wood.
10 months behind here. I would definitely prefer to have Jordan's table in my home. I really liked the bowties. I think I would have liked the stitches more if they weren't so light. The bowties act as an accent, where the stitches command attention away from the beautiful cookie.
Jordan honestly did a great job and actually has much better skills then he give’s himself credit for, but now he should be more confident that his Maker’s peers and people whom he respect’s have chosen his table over john’s. Me either way it was very cool to watch the whole build off.
Both tables are very impressive. Jordan's has a more modern aspect to it, and the legs are very cool. John's has great contrast, a very nice finish, and an interesting base. It also looks like a doctor did a horrible stitching job (nothing against the craftsman, it's just the appearance). Great job gentlemen!
Give him his TABLE! Also when I learned one thing by watching multible Wood working channels on UA-cam than that TotalBoat makes apperently some nice stuff!
New to the channel and love it. Pleasure meeting you down here in little ole Boerne Texas. Fantastic video. Have to give Jordan the table simply based on the fact of the bow tie technique he gets to teach you ! Cheers !
Give him the table he did amazing he deserves it, and to end it off, he did get most of the other youtubers votes. (All but 1 he definitely deserves it it be a crime to not give it to him)
Jordan’s smile when he hears the peers he respects voted for him is priceless. Definitely deserves the table. Great job Jordan!!
yesss, i was about to write the same
just to add to the comment count, i fully agree with this comment
He was so happy.
I love his table. The legs were much better in my opinion and I actually preferred that inconsistent finish
Ditto here. Everyone knows Johns awesome, but to have that crowd give the young guy, who seems a little bit doubtful of himself at times, praise like that was really cool to see. He needed that. More and bigger things from Jordan to come soon I’m sure.
Give the man his table!!! #hellyeahJordan
Right? :)
Hell yeah Jordan
Hell yeah! 😊
yes sirrrr

Funny, I thought the contest was between Jordan and someone else when you sent me that. Now I'm even more happy with my vote
..... who is this?
I think your dead to him now blacktail studios. 🤣 Hahaha
It WARMS my heart seeing 2 of my favorite Wood Workers going back and forth on here. Feels weird to be commenting on something Blacktail without a password though.
Hahhahaha, one of the better replies.
Damn Cam! 😂

I didn't see the poll either but I am going to help him

My vote is for Jordan's table. The steel bowties are an awesome idea. I also like the fact that there's a mix of wood and metal since I also like working with both and always like the combination. Good job, Jordan!
Let Jordan keep the table, the boy did good work. He’s improved a lot since he started working for you. Proud of you Jordan.
I absolutely love the steel bowties. Kinda makes me wanna revisit my idea of bordering my table with raw steel bands.
Jordan’s growth at the shop is impressive. I personally like the wood/metal contrast better. Let him keep it regardless of how many votes he gets.
Nice to see a business that builds people up.
Jordan's growth, both in skill and in front of the camera, has been a lot of fun to watch. Well done, Jordan. I hope you get to keep your table.
He must get the table
Totally agree
@@annalongfield me too!
Awesome job guys! Look how proud Jordan is of that table. The look of pride alone after hearing about The Greats choosing his table should be enough to land that table in his house. Love the vids guys
Jordan is maximizing combining his talent and the opportunity of being in that shop to its full potential. He's doing great things.
Jordan stuck it out through a whole lotta “Dammit Jordan!” He definitely deserves to take his table home. They both turned out great, I like Jordan’s bow tie’s and John finish. You’ve been a good Mentor John. I loved seeing Jordan be proud of himself.
+1 For Jordan. His table looks amazing. You can definitely see his improvements from over the years.
Here's for Jordan to keep the table! You both did a great job!

Two great tables! But I do like the metal inlays that Jordan did. So he will vet my vote. Hope this comment helps him get the table for his house!
Awesome as always guys, thanks!
Jordan definitely deserves that table, it looks so good and he deserves something that shows his skill
The fact Jordan did the bow ties by hand and not on the CNC shows his growth and confidence!
Totally agree
I'm all in for Jordan keeping the table! He did an amazing job!
Amazing work and I love the metal bow ties. With a darker finish on Jordan's table I think it would have been an even closer decision.
the lighter coating, complements the steel... id say... but most people don't have a designers brain.. or a cool one like mine haha
Epic to see how far Jordan has come! Give the man the table!
His growth is tremendous
Great to see Jordan not only get more skilled, but also showing his personality, you are a great team, fun to watch. And yeah, let him keep the table. :)
Man. Jordan’s smile at the end after the peer review is just the best. Love it.

Jordan took that hands down! He deserves the table. Epic build and stoked on how far he’s come.

Hi John. Great fun. Loving your channel. Cheers!
The legend himself, love your channel too
When is the collaboration going to happen?! Would love to see that!
Hi friend!
All hands on deck to help Jordan to 5k

The stitches were an awesome concept, but Jordan's was executed better and I think looks more pleasing to the eye in the end.
Great job Jordan! I'm just starting my career in furniture making and seeing you get more confident over the past few years has been really inspiring.
I am apprentice carpenter (concrete form work and welding) and can tell you that it gets easier once you get confident in your ability to learn and figure it out.
+1 for Jordan, and him keeping the table. You both did an amazing job!
I +1 your +1 for Jordan keeping his hardwork

Great job Jordan! You have come a long way! Have enjoyed watching you grow as a woodworker.
Jordan wins !!
Both tables turned out amazing! Jordan did a fantastic job too, definitely deserves to take that beauty home ;)
Totally agree
Couldn’t have done it without you guys!
If he doesn't give it to Jordan, stop the sponsorship 😁 j/k
Super nice tables. Love your Base and bow ties Jordan! And the finish on the masters is out of this world.
Jordan wins! His reward is to keep the table.
Let the kid keep the table!
Love this as a format. The John vs the other 2 videos were good too. Would love to see a more complex build task done in this fashion; hidden compartments table or something similar could be a fun challenge and show off creativity.
Jordan’s table came out amazing! His skills as a builder has greatly developed over just a few short years.
Thank you so much!
Love the pushing to make each other better!
Absolutely killer

Jordan nailed that! He’s come a long way.
I think Jordan picked a nicer looking cookie. I really like the look of the steel bow ties. I think I would've added one more in there and slightly smaller. I like both the leg designs and Johns top finish looks real slick.
Both tables are beautiful! I loved seeing how stoked Jordan was for the feedback from other woodworkers!
Jordan earned the ability to own that table. Getting his peers vote outweighs all of us LOL
Jordan deserves that table. No doubt. Both are talented and do fine work.
Both tables are worthy of praise... Good job, both of you !
👍
Let Jordan keep it! Did a great job!
I personally loved Jordan’s, it’s honestly the first table I’ve ever seen that I would actually pay over 10k for. Maybe the steel bow ties are just more my style!
Yeah it's definitely would get a lot of money for it but Jordan is keeping it
Same, the wood just looks better honestly and the miss matching white-ish bits just stands out too much and looks out of place with the darker finish where as the steel blends in with the wood.
Love in the background in his office he has his most prized art. That is a real dad
The metal bowtie combo looks awesome.. Great work guys!
10 months behind here. I would definitely prefer to have Jordan's table in my home. I really liked the bowties. I think I would have liked the stitches more if they weren't so light. The bowties act as an accent, where the stitches command attention away from the beautiful cookie.

Jordan the only reason I watch these.. give him a raise!!!!
Dude, Jordan killed it, has def come a long way, only getting better and better
Let Jordan keep the table! Great job both of you!
Jordan did an amazing job.I love the metal and wood combo. GIVE HIM THE TABLE!!!
Jordan's was tops. Amazing work both guys
Love the stitches on your table, John, but that base on Jordan's is sick. Give him the damn table already!
Jordan's table is fantastic! I love the metal/wood usage! Great Job!
Omg both tables kick butt. Let Jordan keep it
Great job Jordan. He deserves the table for sure!
Well done, Jordan! Love the look & hope you get to keep it!
Congrats Jordan! When Blacktail picks your design, you did it right!
The Metal and wood together are awesome. Jordan's all the way
Jordan definitely deserves to keep the table , you 2 done a awsome job on these tables, Godbless
Both tables are very impressive. Jordan's has a more modern aspect to it, and the legs are very cool. John's has great contrast, a very nice finish, and an interesting base. It also looks like a doctor did a horrible stitching job (nothing against the craftsman, it's just the appearance).

Got to do more build off. Very cool. My vote us for Jordan
I'm glad Jordan gets to keep the table. I liked the steel bowties much better than the wood.
I'd want to see Jordan's table with John's finish.
Get that man his table!! Jordan did great!
Leaving a comment and hoping Jordan get to keep his sick build. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful work on both tables. I love them both.
