When this Bible came out I was hoping to get it in Trutone because it was awesome and the size was just right. Being from Jamaica, where these Bibles aren't sold, I always have to wait for video reviews and when I saw it I was disappointed because it was red letter. I don't read red letters well, it hurts my eyes, plus as you said it messed with my markings. The back and Fort between black and red letters also hurts my head, so I only have all black letter Bibles. It is still a lovely Bible though. Thanks for sharing.

@@biblesonabudget213 your welcome. You have a great channel going here. Not everyone can afford premium Bibles. There are some like myself who live in third world countries that can't even afford cheaper Bibles, so showing these types of Bibles is just awesome.
I'm looking for a Bible that will fulfill all my needs, but I'm yet to see such Bible. The closest I've seen so far is the ESV Large Print Thinline Reference Bible which in itself is the ESV Omega (which is way too expensive for me). The ESV is my preferred translation, I really love it above the rest.
I had never used black letter Bibles before until I recently got the ESV Chronological Bible. I could not believe how much easier it was on my eyes than the red letter! It's single column, which is also much easier. Something about the bigger margins seems to be easier on my eyes. All these years, I had no idea this would make such a difference. I ended up donating my beloved ESV Study and getting the ESV Heritage in Trutone, single column, black letter, 9 point font. It's perfect! My eyes are getting worse as I get older. My glasses are also old/scratched and I cannot afford eye care right now. I've been struggling to read lately. This terrifies me. One of my biggest fears in life is no longer being able to read, especially my Bible. This has been a game changer! I hope you are able to obtain a Bible that's good for you. I know we are SO blessed in America with all the options that are not available in other countries.
@@Yesica1993 Thank you. I was able to get the ESV Large Print Wide Margin Bible, it's a beautiful Bible. I got from a fellow UA-camr from the States. It's been my everything Bible since. It has large print and a wide margin as it's name suggests.
Got one yesterday and immediately sent it back. Several quality issues. Hopefully the replacement is better.

The replacement was better. Probably the best put-in-your-lap-and-read bible there is.
I had the same issue except Ive ordered a few of them and they all had issues with either printing quality or the ribbon marker got ink in the pages.

@mikerichards8400 I can sure try. However, it is not in my regular rotation of Bibles. So I may not be able to give you an accurate update, if that makes sense. Currently, though, it has a few scratches on the gilding and some odd discoloration on the inside part of back cover. However, the liners are still in tact and I don't have any tears in my papers, but like I said I don't use it enough to see how well it would hold with more regular usage. The vinyl liner will last you longer than a normal paper one and this real leather should last longer than tru-tone. The discoloration on my copy, could just be with mine and is not a regular occurence on others.
@@biblesonabudget213 thank you. Is the buffalo leather stiff? I am wondering if Crossway's genuine leather large print personal size ESV works just as well, or if the buffalo leather lasts longer?
Is the paper white or more of a opaque? I've noticed that some of the ESV paper is a great white (making it easier to read more comfortably), and some of the ESV Bibles have an opaque paper that I don't like for reading and study purposes.

Yes but consider the price. You won’t get a leather liner for less than $100-$200.
@@biblesonabudget213 Almost perfect. You can get NKJV Thinline reference Bible in genuine leather which is edge lined and under $100. I’d go for that one except I prefer large font and no references to keep footprint small. Unfortunately they don’t do genuine leather in the large font variant!
Bible shopping is tough work !

@@Anteater23 well the vinyl ones will definitely last longer than the paper ones, but unfortunately I can’t say how long they will last
