A similar thing happened to me. No sales for months, and then just as I was giving up, a sale came through. I think Amazon now doesn't just sell products, it sells the dream of entrepreneurship, for £25 per month. For most of us it's a fake dream. We've been had.
Which Website platform (I.e. Spotify ect) would you advise for a small business? I have mine currently with etsy but want to drive traffic to my own website xx
We use Shopify but I’ve used squarespace too for another site. I like Shopify. It has a lot of features (plus extras you can subscribe to) and it’s relatively easy to design and put together. The most complicated part is setting up shipping rates but I’ve done everything myself with only the internet as my teacher so.. you can do it!
I just searched smoke and matches on Amazon and came up with kinda literal smoke and matches. Found some once I added candle to search haha. Personally I alway use your own website to make sure it 100% yours. I’m always a little mistrusting of Amazon xx
My ecommerce agency and my sites have boomed since Brexit... The same for my clients ecommerce businesses... Also, tonnes of ecom companies are now moving to the UK because of EU GDPR dumb regulations and the likes of Ebay now changing their TOS because of it... I also work with investment companies and we've seen record investment in tech and startup companies in the UK... In fact it's been record breaking and there's now more investment in tech and startups in the UK than the whole of the EU put together!... We're also seeing far more investment in UK companies from the US since Brexit, especially in UK companies that export because of our superior banking, finance and insurance infustructure compared to the EU and because we have an advantage over the EU when US companies want to filter goods through Europe to countries outside the EU with the UK being able to negotiate better deals than the EU... I've spoke to many big US investors who say that we're far more investable since Brexit.

I’m 100% with you on that!
Nice video 👍
Thanks, Annie

This is a secondary problem - out name is associated with a lot of 🍃 💨 😂
So where can we get the products that are the best for you?
We’re at smokeandmatches.com ♥️
I am not surprised at all! Companies like Amazon never play by the rules
It definitely felt too coincidental for me
Definitely something dodgy with that amazon set up. Interested to see what the next 90 days bring.
Me too!
That Amazon business is well sus!! Toxic practices
It definitely isn’t in our best interest for now!
It's because of brexshit. The gift that keeps on giving.
You think?

Will be interesting to see if it happens again close to your next 90 days 🤔 xx
Won’t it!! 😂 we will be looking at March if we get sales in December but I will be watching much more closely this time
boring
I’m sorry you felt that way, I was sharing my experience but it’s not a particularly exciting subject
