Just got back from a camping trip at Mustang Island state park. One thing to add and almost ended by trip in the first 30 min was not having the right tent pegs/stake . You need pegs for sand otherwise your tent will just fly away . Luckily someone from the group had them as they camped on the beach before
If you need strong support, I sincerely recommend the “Orange” brand stakes. They are expensive, but will withstand the harshest winds at SPI and will dig into the softest sand. amzn.to/3WJUsOc
You’re very welcome. I was hospitalized 6 months due to a severe bone infection in my spine. I’m home now learning to walk again, and seeing your videos takes me back to the outdoors, which I miss greatly. I can’t wait to get back out there. Thank you for what you do, i can truly say you motivate me to work harder to “get out and do something” and return to the outdoors. Thank you brother. God bless you.
@@joegalvan3397 I’m happy to hear you’re in recovery. You have a positive attitude so I know you’ll be well soon enough. I just had sinus surgery and I am recovering. Will be taking a break for a few weeks, but will be back soon. God bless you.
Awesome video, Great why to spread awareness being that warmer weather is coming soon and more people will be visiting the island, Oh by the way the new Dji mic sounds good 👍
Thanks for the information. Having experienced SPI first hand and the weather I definitely agree. On a side note I stopped by D&D today and I’m going to have work done to my suspension. Thanks for letting me know about the shop. 😊
@Coastal GX that's great It's always nice to see what's next... Recently I told 5.0 about us going to camp pins April 1st ....he thought it was a joke 😅😅😅😅😅
It is illegal to drive on the dunes no matter what; however, I would do whatever it takes to reach safety before anything. Much rather pay a fine than lose my ride or risk injury. 🎥
Preparedness is extremely important. Don’t risk your life, health or outing. I agree with all these points. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Thank you for watching!! 🙌🏽
Thanks for posting this! Headed out that way from California with our 4runner next week. Your info is super helpful.
You have a long trip!! Be safe and enjoy yourself. Also, thank you for the feedback 🎥🙌🏽

Thanks Rey. Yes, people are always asking these questions so I thought it would be good to just show it’s examples. Loving the new mic system! 🙌🏽🎥

That’s awesome, Luis! Just like you, their business is homegrown. They will do a great job with your lil beast.
Where is this shop located, and do they work on gxs?
@@franky1528 yes sir. 221 N. 20th St. McAllen, TX. Number is 956-682-5461.
Omg the wildlife is what keeps me up at night 😂 love the video!
I also wanted to add beware of other people camping out! Some people have too much irresponsible fun out there
That rattler incident was an eye opener. So blessed you were not hurt 🥰
Thanks for the informative video. Have a great week my friend.
Thank you for watching. Likewise! 🎥🙌🏽

Thank you, Juan!!🙌🏽🎥
I reply like your videos God bless you and your family AJUA
One of my last trips, I learned from an elderly couple that roadside reflector posts are great for protecting you camp from vehicles at night.
Yes!!! Great tip! Anything that illuminates the camp helps. Thanks for watching.
Totally agree with your 5 picks...I will add 6..Matches or a lighter..without that wont be able to BBQ or a Camp Fire..😂
And don’t forget the tortillas!! 😂😂😂
Good stuff bro👍👍
Thank you!!! Hope all is well on your end 🎥
You did really great on this list 👏 👍 👌 super happy
Thank you, buddy! Many people have asked me these questions so I figured it would be nice to explain with personal examples. 🙌🏽🎥
@Coastal GX that's great

@@christophervela5447 I miss PINS, but gotta plan that out for an extended stay. at least 3 nights.
Gotta watch the tide charts!
For sure! 👍🏽🎥
The coyotes scared the crap out of my gf and I 😂 I was worried they would try to jump in the side of the truck for food while we were sleeping
lol. They are way too familiar with people now 😂
Are you allowed to 'escape" into The Dunes if tide gets too high?
It is illegal to drive on the dunes no matter what; however, I would do whatever it takes to reach safety before anything. Much rather pay a fine than lose my ride or risk injury. 🎥
Let's go!
You remember the rattler episode lol
What are the best conditions to safely travel to East cut? I have 4x4
Fair weather and low tide. You’ll be ok if the weather is nice and it’s high tide. Just be ready to possibly engage 4wd.
Great video
Thank you!! 🙏🏽🎥
You forgot #6!! Use a Toyota to avoid getting stuck.
Lol. That gets an “honorable mention” 😂
Very good 👍
Thanks for watching!
Diggin yer Coastal GX shirt.
That have UV protection?
Do you sell shirts?
Yes sir. I have a handful left if you’re interested. What size are you?
@@CoastalGX Im interested, prolly like a 2 X.
@@thomasbrogan9102 yes sir. But let me check first. Gotta make sure I have the size.
Thanks for posting your videos. Please ask everybody to only access the South Padre beach at the official access points and not drive over the dunes.
I don’t think that’s even possible right now. The dunes were pretty high. But yes, good point sir
I gotta ask...this past weeknd people were riding several ATVs. What's the deal? Are they allowed or not?
It’s illegal as far as I know. However, there’s no law against transporting an ATV on a trailer. There’s little to no LEO further north.

I got a syringe stuck under my knee. How crazy
That’s messed up!!! I hope you got checked out afterwards. What a disappointment 😒
The coyote atack small kids.! Be careful
I’ve always heard that. My pop had stories from when he was a child growing up on a ranch. 😊
Your volume is bad
It’s loud? Overmodulated?
Thanks!
