Going again this weekend and I can’t wait. PINS nurtures the soul. I’ve traveled to almost every continent on the planet and there is no other place like it. No cell reception, no 90degree angles, very few people, and nature everywhere. ❤️
I had to stop during your intro and leave a comment, I can already tell I'm going to like this video because camping out at the is one of my favorite things to do, many years ago when I was ín college me and my girlfriend at the time used to drive to the beach late on a Friday or Saturday night and sleep in the back of my s-10 Chevy Blazer so we could be the first ones on the beach the next day! And the sunrise was always incredible! 😱

Ive been going to corpus for awhile been to the national seashore but this time I was able to go to the 4x4 only area. Great video put together real good. Glad to see y’all sharing the moments together. Always great to see a beautiful couple happy with life and happy together. Stay safe stay healthy and stay in love
The last time we were at PINS was with a group of Jeep friends. We kept getting warned by others that they were expecting up to 50mph wind gusts....unfortunately they weren't wrong! Lol We closed up the RTT around 2:30am and crawled into the Gladiator to get some sleep!! We will be in Port A this weekend for Beach n Jeeps! 😎
That sounds awesome, wish I could be there this weekend too. Yeah, the wind can get pretty brutal down there for sure, and definitely one more thing to prepare for. In that case, prepare to sleep in the Jeep 🤪
@@saltandsweeteaoverland Since that trip to PINS we now take our sleep in overland square drop trailer! Makes the wind more tolerable. Lol We had to cook in our shower tent more than once at the beach! It was nice the last time (in April) we were at Port A and there was no wind at the ocean looked like a lake! 😀👍

Never know about going there ,it can be perfect ,windy with sand,super high tides,early spring or late fall get a good cold front ,but still fun and amazing.
I love a good camping trip but I really don't think I'd like beach camping. Sand in everything, no wind block and constant noise doesn't sound pleasant. I don't mind a day on the beach but I'll camp inland lol
I built that one. Started with a jet ski trailer frame, beefed it up, added a box and a rack and a 3500 lb axle and springs. It’s getting a facelift as we speak and we’ll be posting some footage soon 😋
I got a camera relocation kit for mine. Its ok, but not as nice as the factory camera. Mine came with the table (bought it used). Overall, im pleased with it.

So, it’s kind of like the slug bug game, but with yellow cars. Each car is a point and if there’s a group of 3 or more, you call a waffle bomb and get as many as you can count while driving by. 🤪
PINS sucks. $25 bucks a night to camp there if you can find a spot. I went to the tent camping spot and the spots aren’t even numbered but you have to pay by putting your money in this collection thing. It’s bullshit.

Hey thanks!! I built that one myself. It started as a jet ski trailer- I beefed up the frame and axle, and built a steel box on it.

Thanks!! Nah, it’s the salt you have to worry about. As long as you stop and rinse off the whole Jeep (especially underneath) you’ll be fine.

It creates a wider foot print making the trailer easier to pull across the softer sand.

Pins has 60 miles of beach to camp on. I’m not sure where you’re talking about, there’s no designated spots there either.
