I have one I've been using for about a year and a half in professional travel (Airline Pilot). They are tough as nails but the wheels are garbage. Though it's still rolling, it will wake the dead with how noisy they are and, they are definitely at the end of their lives. I'm in the process to replace/upgrade wheels but matching the size on wheels, axles, length, etc. is proving difficult. I'm awaiting the 3rd set.

Did you find an upgrade option for the wheels? Your review stopped me from purchasing. It sucks that an indestructible case would have such a major flaw in the wheels.

@@rh50412 I tried 4 different sets of inline skates wheels, none worked. But, there is a direct replacement set sold on Amazon and, a quick warranty claim to Pelican had a new set out free of charge in less than a week

Further to what dox said, they resigned the 1535 for carry on. Get both, or just get this one. As soon as you fill up the 1535, it'll be too heavy for carry on anyway so you'll always have to pay extra for your weight.

I have a 1510 which is technically higher volume than the 1535 and it's never been overweight for carryon
