What an excellent video! My wife is short like the one you showed in this video. My 2023 TRD did not come with the steps so I bought them separately and have yet to install them (it’s been way too cold!). This was helpful, easy to follow and straight to the point. Thank you!
Thank you for watching the video and the kind words! Glad it was helpful! I agree it's way too cold, I have a couple of new mods to do but the temperature is making it difficult. Good luck on your mod let me know if you have any questions!
Just got a 2022 Taco TRD Off Road with those same steps/sliders. On day two we went off roading. At mile #2 I busted off the right passenger step and at mile #3 I did the same to the drivers side step. Day three was at the welders cutting off the remaining steeps and then bed coated the remaining slider. Now it works ok.
Good vid. By chance can you tell me how long those measure like from end to end? I want these for a different vehicle but I need to make sure they will fit first. TIA
@@weeweed86 Thanks. I'm trying to custom fit these for a Pilot, cuz they don't make them for it. The Pilot will only allow 72"-74" running boards, I wonder if I can chop a few inches off of these steps.
@@Jedi_Luke I take some good photos/video tomorrow with a tape measure laying on them and post. I got my used ones home today and I don't drive the truck home till Friday. They are aluminum but you may already know that.
Hi thanks for watching the video. I just checked the link and yeah the seller says it’s currently not available. I suggest getting it from your local Toyota or checking out the other similar steps i linked. This one is pretty close and looks slightly better: amzn.to/3SFSx8N
Love that you used a shorter person to demo, even though you made her sit in the back like a child 😂
😂haha I was going for the dramatic effect! Should have added the baby seat to make it more obvious.
excellent video!
@@michaelbetanzos6172 thank you I'm glad it helped!
Have 'em on my Tacoma 👍
Love it! How is the performance after some time?
@@themandiyrin No issues at all, IMHO the best step out there
@@MPGunther1 Good to know! Thank you!
Your instructions are always so clear!
Thank you! I try!👍🏽

Awesome the steps look good
Thanks for watching my video! Glad you like the steps!
🛠 Question of the day: What kind of steps/rock sliders do you use on your Tacoma⁉
Thank you for telling the bolt size....I bough a used set but no bolts.
No problem! Thanks for watching the video hope it helps!
great video do u know if they fit a 2gen tacomas?
Hi thank you for watching my video! I'm not sure if this would fit a second gen however! Apologies

Thanks for watching my video. For sure I’ll check when I get home from work. Keep you posted.
Not to jump in but they are 85" long. I know because I had to measure to see if I could bring them home in my Matrix.
@@weeweed86 thanks! Appreciate that as I haven't gotten the chance to remeasure!

Did you consider the n-FAB side steps at all? If so why you choose this Toyota one?
Yes I did! However I found a good deal on these OEM and I preferred the look!
The link to purchase the predator tube step not available anymore?

What were the torque specs for the bolts?
I've read some uses 15-20 lbs/ft but for my instance I just used my best judgement. Trying NOT to over-tighten it.
idk if its just me but im 5'9 and i just slide in
Haha yes I also just slide in but my gf is on the short side so I had to install for her 😂
Is your Taco lifted or is that stock clearance?
Hi thanks for watching my videos! It's stock taco so far but hoping to lift it soon. Just deciding on what lift! Is your taco lifted?
