I don't think lane departure works with the sensor. Pretty sure it's a camera on the windshield up by the rearview mirror. Cruise control is definitely the sensor though.
@@themandiyrin it is good to know the radar still works. Other videos kind of gloss over that part. I've been wanting to switch mine but the sensor was one of the things holding me back. Thanks

Looks like you place the washer on the higher side of sensor. I feel like that would push out the top to make it look slightly more down. Or do you let it slide to the bottom before tightening? Is there a specific place to put the washer?
I had to pull decently hard to get it off, the tabs on the bottom are hooked in so it's not the easiest to remove. It may feel like you're pulling too hard but you'll be able to get it off!
Hi thanks for watching my video and no the package does not come with the washer but I just used a normal washer that I had on hand. Nothing special about it just something to prop the camera up slightly.
I guess on the 2020 OR there’s 4 more off the black plastic river fasteners on the bottom part of the grill that have to be removed in order to get the grill off? Know anything about that?
Hmmmm I didn’t have to remove that for mine but if it’s the same plastic fasteners as the rest of the grille, it should be simple to take out so I suggest just removing it. Let me know if you have other questions and good luck on the install!

Just got a text from my service center saying installing the grill would mean getting rid of the front facing camera that provides birds eye 360 view, I have a 22 TRD sport as well. Did you have to do this?
Hi no the 22 TRD sport doesn’t come with a front camera so it doesn’t have the 360 view (at least here in Canada Version). For other countries I’m not sure unfortunately. For me personally I didn’t have that issue. I’m actually installing a different front camera “anytime front camera from running 4 tacos” just so I can have a front facing camera.

I just got my 22 sport last week in the US, mine has a front camera that allows the 360 view, but it’s odd because I’ve seen other people use the one you mentioned as well which to me says it’s definitely possible to retain with a TRD sport grill. I definitely would prefer to keep the function, so I guess I need to dig around to see how or maybe see if it’s just my Toyota service center not knowing.
@@Choccymilk2996 no problem glad to chat with fellow taco owners! In my opinion I’m sure there is a way to install a tTRD pro style grille while keeping the function. You may need to modify the grill to install the camera but I’m sure there is a way. I’ll take a look as well to see what I can find online!
@@Choccymilk2996 I think you just need to add a mounting bracket for the camera… the sensor will work the same as my relocation. The only difference I see is that your front camera won’t be able to go on the centre of the grille (you may need to offset it a little so it doesn’t block the sensor). I’m dealing with that as well as I’m trying to find an optimal location for my front anytime camera. I’m going to be installing it a bit on the left side of the new sensor.

Thanks for the comments Ellery! It's personal preference and what looks good is subjective to others opinion. Some like the TRD Pro look and some love the stock. I personally don't mind both but prefered the darker color of the Pro. Cheers!

How hard did you have to pull to get the OEM grille off? Great vid BTW 👍🏻
I had to pull decently hard to get it off, the tabs on the bottom are hooked in so it's not the easiest to remove. It may feel like you're pulling too hard but you'll be able to get it off!
Does the package come with the washer you place between the TSS sensor and grill to elevate the sensor? If not, what kind of washer did you use?
Hi thanks for watching my video and no the package does not come with the washer but I just used a normal washer that I had on hand. Nothing special about it just something to prop the camera up slightly.
Rad! So, I’ve been wondering what this does to the warranty of the electrics.. The sensor should be at the same height so think it’s all the same??
The sensor was adjusted a bit but still works the same! Not sure about warranty thou!

How long did it take for you to get your letters and tss sensor cover? I got my grill a week ago from taco clout but still dont have the other parts.

Shipping to Winnipeg was about 1 week! And yes this set came with 4 amber raptor lights. I'm working on an installation video on that as we speak!
