We fail but, learn from failure, next time you will succeed I will fight until death that red is the prettiest car color ever. But you have one glorious red Stilo already 9:02 I cleaned on my JTD that fuse box, and sorted like tons of electrical not errors it's like gremlins take over your car, battery cover is must, tons of stilos just dont have, Heck even mine is broken somehow, i really don't know from what, age and wear and tear
Yes i was thinking red or yellow....... i need a color that can handle decals on the side. It needs to pop but also needs to make the black and chrome stand out. Maybe i will go for blue again haha. Yes the fusebox is 90% of the failures on all Stilo's. From injector problems to weird electronical problems. Also the earth wires that i mentioned in the video. If your plastic cover is broken you can always take the batterybox and cover from the Bravo. You can see it early in the video. at 1.26
@@ItalianRebuild Yellow, maybe do i dare to say green like funky green. Yeah i have problems with ground wires not skilled enough to solve it myself and most mechanics do not want to touch that stuff. My stilo its on last legs, but still no errors on dashboard. 4:24 did you clean that intake butterfly, throttle body it looks so clean like new. Mine was in rough condition but managed to clean it, myself but my whole intake is clogged up, well at least that is what mechanic said.
@@ItalianRebuild Yeah, it looks like low milage car, really nice. Now i see its petrol one i think that some had some ECU problems, like it was mounted on weird spot and it got destroyed with vibrations of the engine and heat , and it just wreck havoc on PCB. Don't know what year is that or where is mounted. That is just what i read on forums over the many many years of having stilo.
Hey man, when's the new video coming up ? I actually have a question regarding the Fiat 500x steering wheel, how did you mount it ? Is the connector to the actual steering column the same as in on the original Stilo steering wheel ? I'm personally a big fan of the original Fiat 500 steering wheel the one with the big circle in the middle so I was thinking of doing the same but I'm not ready to jump ship if I cannot fit it easily. Thank you for making this series, it revived my love for my car
Soon! Will be a clutch replacement because all the parts from Brazil are still at customs. The steeringwheel hole/connector is the same but the buttons will not work automatically because they are using a different canbus. You probably also need the airbag ring for the new airbag. 👍
@@ItalianRebuild I'm actually more concerned will the airbag and the horn work, does it use the same connectors or will it need some modification ? Just those 2 are very important to me, the buttons on the sides can wait
@@ItalianRebuild also will the clutch be in situe in car bolted in,,or already removed and unbolted,, as I would love to get a video on the complete tear down and removal of the clutch in the car 🙂
@@-dazzy- The situation will be as in the last video where everything is still connected in the car. So i need to remove everything again and do the clutch. So you get everything you need! 🇮🇹
@@ItalianRebuild but you dismantled almost the whole wiring. If you take a look to the Brazilian 1.8 Stilo, you will see where the ECU is located (right next to the ABS unit). I think it could be possible to install it there and forget about it.
There is no BlackMotion Stilo with other colors besides black in Brazil, so if you wanna stick to how it's in there i would recommend to leave it black, even though blue looks really nice. This BlackMotion version wasn't actually the most "modern" or feature-packed version of the stilo in Brazil, they had the 5 door Stilo Abarth till 2008-2009, which was way more feature-packed besides the 2.4 5cyl engine (Most Stilo's came with a 1.8 8v engine though, about 112hp, which was considered pretty weak compared to other cars of the same category at the time, the 1.8 16v of Brazil's MS model is not the same one that came on other countries, and no other model besides the Abarth one had the 2.4 engine). All the Stilo models from 2008-2011 have the "modern" look you see on the blackmotion, so if you wanna get the bumpers or the door trims you could look for any model of this year
Thanks for the information! I knew that about the Blackmotion but since there is also a " white Punto blackmotion " i think they named it because of the interior that is black. Not sure. Anyways i have all the decals and stickers like on the punto and i also have all the bumper/sideskirt parts from Brazil so i just create a new version ;)

@@RaPtOr9600 , No i did not clean it. The car has low mileage that's why i spend a bit money on it. It has potential to be a modern cheap car! 💪

Why are you keeping the ECU on its original mount location? You know that it can cause problems due to heat.

You had a bad motor... why send the whole thing to the scrapyard ?? If the goal is to learn, replacing the motor sounds like a better option.
