Hey Rob, thanks for all you videos on this unit. You sold me a few months back and I got my own z254F. Love this dude and have about 12hrs on it so far. 1 question: do your motion control arms seem stiff the first few mins of running it? And then loosen up and become easier to manage as you mow? I’m just wondering if yours does the same. Really my only complaint about the mower so far.
They’re super stiff. To the point I was accidentally killing the engine by thinking the arms were all the way disengaged before getting off the seat. Honestly took mine back to the place I bought it and had them adjusted.
After looking at some of my other videos you are correct it was on the right side behind the oil dipstick. I may have to change it, however it's been on there like that for about 150 hours now or more. Thanks for pointing that out, I believe someone else may have said that too. I just figured it was the camera. Thank you for informing me, and I appreciate you.
Yes that is correct. I just did a video that breaks some of that down. Depends on if you change the filter at the same time or not but 2 qts works. Thanks for the comment
Thats what I used. But 10w30 should work just fine from what the manual says. I just did a video about a week ago with more info on things like that. Thanks for the comment and sorry about the late response. (Just now seeing all these comments that I never saw before and now catching up on them. Thanks again. And hope that helps
I would love to, but right now it's not a big deal (been dropping my money in investments) I will evidently get them and yes I will do a video on them when I do.
Check your tires. Check your oil AFTER you have run the engine to let the oil filter fill. Good video, you're getting there.

Honestly I never paid attention. I'll have to see when I mow the grass next time.
You gotta push the arms all the way out

Check where the spring is at 20.51 in this vid. Thats what I was trying to tell you in my comment from yesterday.

What grade oil you use for Kawasaki engine? Is it SAE 30?

You still towing that swisher bush hog? I was wondering how the transmission was holding up towing something that heavy with a zero turn?
I still do, the zero turn still does a good job with pulling however it would be a lot faster with a 4 wheeler or something.
Did you ever decide on getting the armrests or not? If so could you do an install video please?
I would love to, but right now it's not a big deal (been dropping my money in investments) I will evidently get them and yes I will do a video on them when I do.
Damn they have 3 oil filters?
I dont think it has three, I only see 1. Did I accidentally say three in the video? Thanks for the comment
Maybe I misheard lol
Where the gas gage ?
I agree
4 key pins and the deck slides out
Yep, I've done it a few times now, makes things way easier. Thanks
