This is one of the best ON3 installation videos I’ve seen hands down. My on3 kit is on back order like they all are so I’m watching as many videos on the subject as I can find till it comes.

Thanks for the Video! What spark plug/gap combination did you end up finding was the best? I know your vid says Autolite 3923 but it shows NGK. also is it copper resistor or no resistor? was wondering if Platinum or Double platinum would be a good option or maybe Iridium? Thanks!

I hate dropping fox fuel tanks. I just cut a hole in the floor and put a piece of aluminum sheeting over it. Never have to drop the tank again. Nice chest hair BTW.

Where abouts does the oil drain fitting going into the oil pan? My kit didn’t come with a template
We’re thinking about turbocharging are 86 foxbody were gonna take the engine apart first because it’s stock and probably put forged pistons and new crank and rods is there anything else we should do before we turbocharge it? Should we change the ecu or anything else? We don’t know a whole lot about installing turbos
This video makes me miss my turbo sbf fox stang. Im gonna do another one, but this time Im going to turbo a 9.5 deck height (351W) and boost it.
My old stock bottom end 302 with an On3 kit ran very well. It was a sbe 302 with just an E-303 cam, trick flow track heat intake, and cast iron World Products Windsor Jr heads ended up running 10.48 all day long..
I am working on this right now. 351W will be ready Friday and my kit came in last week from On3. Chomping at the bit to get started.
Did you use the bolts that came with the kit to install the turbo to the manifold?

... fire up your cutting torch, and remove passenger side rear quarter panel... shorten right side frame rail by 1/4"... Update flux capacitor. Then tighten to 90 ft/lbs...

Is anyone running an on3 kit with high port heads?
this is on a stock 5.0.?
are you able to still use this if you have the ac still? seems like the ac evaporator would be in the way of the intercooler
Yes, you can retain AC, power steering, and swaybar
What brand is that kit ?
Do you have measurements for your intercooler brackets by chance? How long it is to the 90° and then the length after the 90°? If not that's okay. Yours fits exactly how I want mine.

How reliable are their turbos? Im looking at getting a 7875. At 400.00 it just sounds to good to be true.
@@strangedemon 👍 how long have you been using yours for? I would be swapping over from a master power. Master power never gave me any trouble then again I only used it for three years but it was beat every time.
Hi. Are you used boost control for tune ? and whay you not change spark plugs ?.
I did not want to immediately foul a set of plugs if the tune was way off, this way I could dial it in a little then change the plugs when it was time to do some WOT tuning.
Do you have any idea why my car would be stumbling once I start accelerating but it's fine at idle
Could be too lean could be too much timing or a combo of both. Do you have an air fuel guage?
How does the copper RTV work vs regular gaskets. Debating on buying MLS or just using RTV
Lasted a few years but eventually blew out now I run remflex gaskets
What size injectors, and fuel pump did you go with? What brand also? Thanks
Cool, I’m currently running 42lb injectors with a vortech supercharger. I have the same fuel pump though. Do you think the 42’s would be sufficient?

Are you running aluminum high port heads?
That was alot of work and i absolutely do not recommend you attempt this if you are not confident you can do this otherwise you will end up with a car in pieces and looking for help or a damaged engine of not done and tuned properly! Basically dont try it unless you are experienced enough...
what size turbo what be ideal for a 408w? I hear guys say 70 is huge and 76 still isn’t big enough.
Depends on boost and horsepower goals. Also if going to be a street car or drag racer. Smaller turbos are great for street as they spool fast and give you a lot of low end torque
@@strangedemon it’s a street car but I’d like to make it push 650-700

running that stock fuel pump hanger is a big NO NO.CHECK OUT PRO M EFI WEBSITE FOR INFO ON THE PROBLEMS WITH THE STOCK FUEL PUMP HANGER AND THE FIX

There's no way I would have tapped that pan without pulling it. Never can be too careful about that stuff. 🕵️
Great video, stupid music I dont understand this as if I needed to listen to music I would do just that. I want to know how to install a turbo not listen to the same boring ass beat over and over. So frustrating 😫
