I love this thing. I think it has one of my best KDs. Super easy to fly imo, the only things I hate about is it's terrible roll rate and the fact the fuel tanks are in FRONT of the frontal spars. Meaning in head ons, you will light on fire nearly every single time. Which is why I don't unless I know that I am fast enough to dodge easily.
3:40 just to make it more clear how bad the 47N is the P-47N is about a tonne heavier than the D28 empty + it's minfuel is over 30 minutes which is over 50% more than what most other P-47s will run (20min).
@@clariidfisherman3702 the one at 5.0 is my personal favourite, the 4.3 one is workable too. Stay away from the P47 N the fuel load just makes it so heavy. And remember altitude and speed are your best friends in p47s never ever go slow. And dont be afraid to spray your ammo as you have plenty of it same goes for WEP it lasts a good while.

Thank you for showing what this plane can do, I loved this plane as a kid and have it in game. But after allot of abysmal starting matches and not knowing what to do with this, I'm now at least getting 1 kill a match (then hitting gd tgts) whilst getting more comfortable with the flight characteristics
@@kingcamilo I usually put 1000 pound bombs on it. Fly to an enemy airbase. Bomb it. Then I find a fight to engage in. Those bombs can definitely do damage to a base if well placed.

3:35 is there a reliable tier list of all the good planes? Because there's 250 vehicles in the tech tree and I have no idea which one's are A+ and which ones are F-.
The reason you cant sometimes get people in a dive is because of how horribly it locks up at high speeds. Best way is to stay around 2k altittude and around 300 - 400 speed, that way you get decent roll speed and best maneuverability, you can actually dogfight some American fighters, successfully bait enemies for headons, turn around and end up right on their six which will most likely result in their death. Love Typhoons 4life.

@@TeenWithACarrotIDKThey meant more the placement of the guns. The bf 109 has excellent placement of the guns, all being right in the nose for easy targeting. The placement of the guns in the typhoon is so wide it makes targeting incredibly difficult
Sup Defyn, was wondering what you think of flying out the Ki83? It turns waaaaay better than the stat card would suggest and is a ufo with flaps ,the guns hit like a truck, and to top it all off its got a stowaway hidden in the tail😂
I still don't know what is Sasuke supposed to be doing in the back of the Ki83 but he's not even rendered on the 3d damage visualizer. Plus the Ki83 is still much less agile than the J5N1 which is the same once it hits 15 minutes of fuel, with the added benefit of high AOA and Type 99 20mm that are much better than Ho-5s. The J5N1 can dogfight and reverse, Ki83 simply locks up and it's like flying the I225 with more power. I've 1v1d a friend (m09546060, one hell of a gladiator) on the Ki83 with my J5N1 and it was the first time I managed to kill him more times than he killed me (6/1) and the first time I actually won him consistently instead of 35/10 kind of matches

@@Jaco93 Ki83 has horrible nose authority, even the T18B handles better in a dogfight. The 20mms are going to hit more times than the 30mms giving you more paint scratches than one shots
Had so many good games in sim with this plane and it's still my favourite. It has options against most things it faces (except the damn ki84s). It turns well enough to rate fight, dives past most enemies rip speed and can outrun others on the deck. Can shallow climb faster than most to rope-a-dope if you use MEC. At 3500rpm with open rad it can live on WEP and cruise at 342mph so hits ground pounders like a hammer. I've taken on pairs of 109G players co-oping to kill bombers and controlled the fight from start to finish. Engine is a bit fragile so dont head on or chase bombers. Keep speed above 220mph or the handling suffers badly but I can roll it over 180° just fine with a hard rudder kick. She's a big girl but tons of fun. I like to top escort bombers and break off for fighters that get too close, then BnZ the furball on the home leg. Could use some more ammo though cos I always seem to need to RTB before I get shot down.

@@Jaeger_89 Yeah, the Late version has less drag, better cooling and in general a better radiator. Overall it just climbs better, overheats less, keeps energy better and at sea level is around 40km/h faster than the premium one (602 kmh at sea level vs 566)

Tempest MkV is a brick that doesn't accelerate, is only slightly faster than Russian aircraft, can't turn, compresses like a fuck but is amazing on furballs. I've used to spam the Tempest 5 before the F2G spam dogshit and get pretty cool reversals. I think the FW190D9 is much better.

Outclassed? It's faster than almost anything and if something is faster (I don't know of any plane that's much faster), it can turn with it easily. This plane is absolutely excellent for its BR.

You can go that fast for extending away or fleeing an engagement, in which case the compression doesn't matter, or you can slow to a manageable speed for engagements, in which case the compression doesn't matter. If you keep it from compressing there's very little you can't either out-turn or out-speed.

The best Lavochkin I've flown and spaded in the Russian tree is the La-5FN, so I'm not sure what the advantages are in a 5.3 plane that faces tons of high-altitude monsters, and it can't perform well above 4,000 meters. Seems every battle just becomes me defending (alone) against boom-and-zoomers with absolutely no hope of winning.

Forgive me for what I’m about to say US, and UK planes are kinda buffed, I’m not saying that bc I play Germany but they receive a hell of damage and still able to fly very well, one time I turned-off my 13mm MG and I hit a Spitfire twice with the 20mm and I got only hits !!!! And he was extremely able to fly well,on the other hand if I receive a single hit from .50cal or 20mm i immediately out of the service This is happens a lot at 5.3-5.7 while I play the K-4, G-14, G-10 You might not noticed , maybe bc you’re extremely expert ace pilot and even you can kill an F-14 with the 109 But for me😔😕😕😕, I can’t enjoy the K-4 anymore
Aren't there like a few mineshell bullets in the Mg151 air targets belt. Maybe you got unlucky and only hit with those. Meanwhile all M2 50 cal bullets do their kinetic damage and you're probably getting hit by many more at the same time as well due to having more guns on American planes.
