As a track hawk owner , it’s worth every penny... Works great in the Canadian winters too, just keep your foot out of it and it’s still a Jeep. I debadged mine and love love love love catching people at lights , not only do they get a beating , they just got a beat by a Heavy SUV. If you can afford it, do it ... you will not regret it.
Love this thing! It's my daily driver. It's natural habitat is the gas station, but I always have a smile on my facing going TO and FROM work. Splurge on one, you won't regret it!
It’s a great daily driver. I have fun traveling on regular streets and highways with it. You will consume gas but you don’t buy this car for MPG. You will also have to deal with everyone wanting to race at every red light lol. It’s ridiculously fun.
If i ever won the Lotto this is the 1st vehicle I'm buying haha just because. Thank You FCA for building this and all the crazy hellcat/demon relatives of this car. No other car company does this kind of thing at this price point and it's frickin awesome 👍👍👍👍
I test drove the Jaguar F-Pace, the Audi SQ5, the BMW X3 M40i and the Maserati Levante S. I bought the Trackhawk. It's amazingly quick, the quickest SUV available today, and it is terrific fun to drive. I always have a smile on my face when I am behind the wheel, and tome that's priceless. Next, the Livernois Motorsports 220 HP upgrade. 927 HP. Why not?
I have the 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. It's the 1998 version of what we call now the SRT-8. 360 cubic inches of Murica packed up with all wheel drive. Top that with its leather interior, heated seats and mirrors, sunroof, Infinity Gold sound system. And it pales in comparison to the Trackhawk. What people who haven't driven V8+AWD are missing is a vehicle that is just fun to drive even if its just to the grocery store.
I got mine yesterday. Fantastic. My neck has to fight the G forces, that's in track mode. I am a good reader and enjoy reading at times but I absolutely hate reading instruction manuals. The way they word things is screwed up. Also the way they spread out the information is fuckin stupid. Let's say shifting with the paddles. Pages: 215. 216.221.306.429.WTF! Now today was my first almost full day with it. I was making a left turn and my right hand was near the shifter so I went to brace myself with it and the shifter moved to the left. I asked this guy I know what's the story? He says oh yeah you can use it as a manual shifter in that position. So you have automatic, paddles and shifter. Go figure. Also digging out information with the screen is also a hassle. Please just let me drive!
Ugh, there was no way I was going to make the price work on new or used, so I bought one salvage and fixed it up myself... Absolutely in looove. I hope I don't get intoxicated with the next generation TH though, that might make me broke for life..
As the owner of one of these, let me say I LOVE it. I dont drive my 800 hp Corvette anymore because it is to horning compared to the Trackhawk. This is by far the best daily driver you can buy if you have a family and live somewhere where AWD is important.
I drive a JGC and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.......A trackhawk would be a dream car for me. A hot rod, family hauler, put the dog in the back and a sleeper all rolled into one. Who needs Snob appeal when you have American muscle ?
Not one day goes by that I don't get a giant smile on my face from my '14 JGC SRT. The cure for a bad day is just one launch control away, it's an amusement park that you get to drive around. And yet, the trackhawk makes my Jeep look impotent.
I’m glad I finally caught the video. I love the Trackhawk and will try to get one someday. I’d love to have that problem. Thanks for identifying the next totem.
You know I have to disagree that people wouldn't be cross shopping this with an X5M, GLE63 or Stelvio Quad, yes those cars do have a more premium interior to the Jeep but I would certainly still entertain the Jeep in this category just based on the savings involved. Being a Bmw, Mercedes, Audi previous owner as well as a current Dodge SRT Charger owner I can safely say it has cross shop ability because of what you get for your money comparatively. I am an interior snob and I like what Jeep is doing with their SRT model Grand Cherokee. Good enough if you will.
I saw a lady at pet smart parking lot coming out of a track hawk with 3 kids!! I asked her how is life hauling around 3 kids in a basically hellcat suv! ?? She said, “ lol I didn’t have to come to the store I was just looking for an excuse to drive my beast!”
Looking forward to the Redeye version. As far as cross-shopping, we cross-shopped the Trackhawk with the Cayenne Turbo S and the GLE 63 S Coupe. We bought the Cayenne Turbo S. The Trackhawk just didn't wow us like it does everybody else, and we were hoping it would. The Cayenne is a more capable and more well-rounded vehicle. But, yes, it's vastly more expensive!
Idk why people says that trackhawk is just not worth it in other videos they say buying a grand cherokee srt is more worth it than this but I say that this is the best suv probably the fastest its soo good I luv the trackhawk❤️❤️😍😍
I had the jeep srt8 when it came out I had so much fun with it, this one is a lot more powerful and nicer cant even imagine the fun of this one...I like that it's kind of a sleeper too

Oh my Yes !!!! I am the proud owner of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Sport, though this, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk I could drive normally! Oh Yes!!! What a wild sturdy raw beauty!!! Imagine, I live a few miles away from the Great Smokie Mountains in Western North Carolina, the territory of the Blue Ridge Parkway!!! Oh I would have so much fun with this Jeep masterpiece!!!
Not going to happen! Chevy is obviously getting out of the muscle car business for The Working Man! If you can't afford a high-dollar ZR1! They're not really promoting the Camaros anymore their letting dodge run all over them in marketing and performance! The redline Silverado and Tahoe should have been the answer to the Durango SRT, the Camaro SS and ZL1 should have had 50 horsepower bumps! Outside of the ZR1 Chevy performance lineup is boring!
they're still pretty stinkin' decent performance cars, just not "Demon slayers." even though they should highlight the performance SUV...they won't. so i'll just sit and wait until the Durango "Hellhawk" or whatever they end up naming it comes out.
I wish GM would bring back the passion there are getting too obsessed with performance they need to make fun cars that look good hope the C8 redeems GM
Unfortunately that's not gonna happen. Neither GM or Ford is even batting an eye at the trackhawk, because the trackhawk is not selling well. They are sitting on lots. Us Americans just don't buy expensive American cars, even when their quality matches their price tag.
I own a '14 GC ecodiesel with the off road package (skid plates, locker, air suspension, ect). I've got a tune on mine that produces nearly 500ft/lb of torque at the flywheel. Mine is blistering fast from 0-30ish mph, and I own a supra. I have been wanting a go in this trackhawk since it was announced and I really can't imagine what it would be like. I get that it took massive R&D which is why this thing is basically 100k (don't know why these guys are saying 90k), but I'd never ever pay 100k for a GC, even if I were a millionare. Heck I didn't even buy my ecodiesel new because I didn't feel like paying 57k for it. Is it worth it? Not really, but maybe to someone. I feel like car manufacturers are just charging more because people are willing to go more into debt; not because people can actually afford them. That said, I'm glad that these things exist, they are just 3x too expensive. Make a normal GC 23-25k and this thing 35k and now that's actually reasonable.
Would you cross-shop it against Jeep's own Grand Cherokee SRT or the Jaguar F-Pace with the 5.0 liter? That one has similar performance numbers and about the same price when optioned. I know it doesn't have the same market but I recently bought a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and have been very pleased with it.
You both do such a good job. So much better than all the clickbait out there. Better than Vehicle Virgins for sure!!! Keep it up. People hit that bell and subscribe so we can keep getting this content!

Excellent review. It sure doesn't look any different than a standard grand Cherokee. I think I'd rather have a GLE63 or X5M
my gf wants this for our first car when we get married... and omg it is sexy
You got yourself a keeper there 😂
I was just gonna say that😂 I told my wife about it and she basically said, “ Gtfo!” Lol

1000K Jeep Grand Cherokee. That demo car is a entry level model
With ALL the cool stuff it's about 98k, entry level is at 86k on the Jeep website brand new
I am you. Everything you gents have said is me. Exactly me. If I reviewed cars. But I'm sending this link to my wife because she doesn't understand this thing. This SUV? This Jeep? It's neither of those things. It just IS. Dammit it IS.
Would be a fun daily!
Not for me, I wouldn't be happy with a daily that drinks gas like that.
Wow that’s fly machine 💨
Love everything about it👍🏼
Stupid expensive $100K Grand Cherokee that looks just like a $40K Grand Cherokee. To each his own.
