I am watching this not to beat 433 but to strengthen my own 433 formation by observing the flaws that I can counter with some tweaks. 433 has been my friend since fm 2011.
Always when I using my formation for more than 1-2 years teams start beating me all the time? in my first season with Villa I reach 3 place, in second with the same formation I got 13
Big ups Roan! Been having a lot of problems against Flamengo's 433 and today I finally won the brazillian supercup against them! Then, your video released and I realized their strengths are exactly like you've put it here! Another great video man 👍
Outstanding video this. I'm terrible at the game tactically and was replaying a certain game against Arsenal endlessly as I was convinced the outcome was pre-determined. I must have replayed it 40-50 times and never won and barely ever scored, despite having a better team than them. My tactic was very similar to the first of your suggestions and all it took was a couple of changes and suddenly their attack was neutralised and I won. I replayed it four times and won 3 of them, drew the other one.
Arsenal and Spurs use this on my save and I can never beat them usually. I've never won a domestic cup and lost the CL final three years in a row to this tactic. Having something to go at in terms of counteracting it is brilliant.
Don't beat yourself up my friend, getting tactics right in this game can be challenging for anyone! Especially teams like Arsenal are very difficult to take down, so happy to hear the video helped you out with getting that win! Keep learning more about tactical insights and ways to analyse your game, and before you know it you'll be winning trophies left right and center!
These are unbelievably good videos. Really helping me understand tactics, what to look for and how to counter it. I struggle at times knowing how to understand the treats that the AI generates. Your videos help me understand how to interpret that. Awesome!
I'm really happy to hear that the videos have been helping you out! Getting a grip on building tactics and countering the AI is a process we all have to go through, but once it all clicks it's such a great feeling! Are there any other points which you struggle with? I'm always looking for input for new videos!
In my last save I started with good success but couldn’t work out how to adapt against the AI when it started to low block and counter attack. A video on how to adapt when you go from being the counter attack team to the one being countered would be great!
Very good approach to exploit weaknesses of 4-3-3, nice video. Wanna share my idea, which I use in my current save. I made as a basic tactic 4-3-3, but in a different shape, where I have: 3 CMs (1 defend, 2 support with instruction to play wide); 2 strikers (1 pressing, 1 advanced) 1 AM attack. Team instructions: I play with middle block, standard pressing with tight marking, slightly high tempo with long balls. As a result - 3 attacking players runs into channels between defenders + team exploits the pivot zone of my team (witch is empty in opps team as far as they dont have AM). Works well, helps to dominate in the middle
Actually very close to the tactic that I'm running in my personal save! That midfield dominance combining with two strikers and an attacking midfielder running at the defence is incredibly powerful
Came from a 7-0 win against city as tottenham and got absolutely outplayed by emerys liverpool. I use a 443 liverpool used a 424 and everything happened as you said in this video. My tottenham averages 65% possession and 95% pass completion its insane. Had 30% and 75% against the 424 i had no chance. Emery took me to school
could you do some videos on specific roles and what they do? i usually have an idea of how i want my team to play and move but i’m never sure which player roles will actually achieve this and where they’ll move on the pitch
i made diamond shape without striker to cover all weaknesses of 433, and creating attacking threats from both inverted wingers / inside forward / wide trequartista as my poachers. i also using vertical tiki taka with overlaps both wings and much shorter passes, so satisfied its like reviving Guardiola unstoppable barcelona 2009 😊❤
doing great man, i used this with wolverhampton, glad this team survived for 3 season so far in top 6 and win 1 Uefa league title 😊 made 2 play styles based on this formation, one setup for counter attack tactic if opponent is one of big 5, another setup is barcelona esque 2009 😊

@@a.sarnowski_ Have you checked out my 10 tactical trends from OP tactics video? 2 DM's in a 4231 can work wonders! What was your reasoning for using CM's instead?
Hi, great video! Really helpful! What tactic would you recommend to beat the first alternative against the 4-3-3 suggested? (The 4-3-3 with 3CDM’s 2 being Segundo Volante’s)
Thanks, happy you enjoyed the video! The 433 with 2 Segundo Volante's leaves a lot of space between their attack and their midfield, so I would look to use a quality defensive mid as a playmaker, and then use fast attackers to get in behind their defence, where the DM can ping through balls over their defence.
why would it help to focus playing down the middle if they use a half back ?? I mean out of possession the half back wont be positioning in the defense, he would be playing in a defensive midfielder positioning and they would then have 3 midfielders covering their defense as soon as they lose the ball or when your are buiilding up your play? focus playing down the middle are only triggered when having the ball right?
I use a 4-3-3 but i have no possesion at all. I tried changing roles, mentality, tempo and nothing works. It doesn't really matter what tactic you use, if your players are worse than the rest of the league. I have 30-40% possesion with my 4-3-3 possesion tactic for some reason.
Keeping possesion with an underdog team is definitely difficult. But especially if you've already analysed your team and found that they don't have the abilities to keep possesion, my suggestion would be to completely ignore possesion. Try a tactic that's focused on creating a solid defense, while being more direct yourself. Do you have some quick players in your attack? It might be effective to quickly try and launch them into attack to surprise the teams that are better than yourself
Very interesting idea! Really wonder how does attacking midfielders with the stay wide instruction will end up performing. Might have to give it a try!
@@coachroan came up with an idea if dmc mark amc i realised that if i put 3 amc (which lef and right go wide) so if dmc mark amc the two others are free and can dominate i that area on the pitch
I'm not sure if you mean getting countered by the 433, or getting countered while using a 433. Either way, to prevent yourself getting countered a lot, I'd say there's two things to focus on: Rest defense (how many players are in position to defend or press when you lose the ball) and solidity on the ball (how much risk are you taking with passes and players moving out of position.
The tactics are not currently available for download. As the tactics in the video are also more meant as examples, I'd advice you to take them as an inspiration and then build your own version!
