American and Canadian TV personalities are much worse in terms of depth of thought. But it's because of the cultural difference - on US or Canadian TV, the most important factor, ultimately, is time. So the selection and training of TV personalities, and their goals, are different; there is no time to explore anything in depth, it's all about getting the most interesting points (preferably scandalous ones) out before the time break.
To be clear, I am not saying that the Brits are smarter, or more likely to be factually and/or logically correct. They may be - and from what I can see, quite often are - just as wrong, but their position is still more elaborate and sophisticated.

It's great to see him here because although he is none of what his haters call him, some of them are too young, too brainwashed, too stupid to check him out before parroting whatever was said about him. I've noticed that ever since the Cathy Newman interview, the media in the UK will no longer have Jordan Peterson interviewed by one person. It is now always two-on-one or three-on-one. Therefore they can't make themselves look like an idiot anymore. Because now there will always be someone to immediately jump in and change the subject to cover for the other persons argument being destroyed by Peterson.

Cathy is not a victim she was just outclassed in by Jordan at one point he had to slow his pace down to let her catch up. It was a brilliant lesson in thinking for yourself rather than just falling back on the generic cliches.

If I, as a woman, want to be an engineer; nothing stops me, nothing prevents me except myself and the fact I am not good enough at maths. Should they lower the criteria for me? No, I'd rather we had engineers who were properly qualified than have equality of gender at the risk of lowering expectations. Would I like more women in stem? Yes, if they choose to be. There was a strong implication during this interview that Jordan Peterson was somehow responsible for Cathy Newman receiving death threats for HER behaviour during this interview. This is a prime example of the importance of Jordan's points on individual responsibility
You're right but bear in mind, these alleged death threats were only claimed, no evidence was produced to verify her claims. As is usual in these cases, when the left leaning person loses an argument, as Cathy Newman clearly did, they try to frame themselves as the victim in some way, thus undermining the opponents comments or beliefs.
She immediately jumps to ad hominem - ('why are you so popular with the Alt-Right?). This tactic is always used by a person who does not have a convincing argument to hand.
But the thing is, the alt right does like him, most conservatives like him, and I have noticed that people, usually conservatives, who are racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., absolutely love him. Now, why is that?

Look at it this way - the 'humanities' subjects where Peterson encounters all these "Maoist" intellectuals - what proportion of the universities do they make up? Not very much. Is Peterson really saying that the freaky left-wing Postmodernists have also taken over all the other faculties, like civil engineering, computer science, medicine, law, mathematics, physics, geology, accounting, aeronautical engineering, architecture, business and management, chemistry, dentistry, German, and town planning? I mean, get real!
