Im sure they don’t realize how scandlous this was in the 60’s. Tight clothes and all that skin showing and flirting 🥵 I love it. This was my favorite song when I was a kid (born in 83). I was today years old when I found out there’s a music video. So classy. I should have been a 50’s child.

This is one of the best songs from American Dreams and believe me the series was simply the best. The clothes and the colors they really captured the 60's with the music and clothes. Reminds me of my childhood and my family when we lived in California.

Love how they captured the look of the period for costumes. The whole show is just a wonderful reminder of the technicolor era. The clothes and the cars are simply a wonderful reminder of the period. Reminds me of my childhood and those wonderful times for the music.
Absolute PERFECTION!!! This song was originally produced and arranged very poorly. I've always wanted someone to do this song right. Thank you for a top notch production. I LOVE IT!!!! ❤❤❤
My husband used to sing this chorus to our little daughter, Laurie. "Hey, lottie-la". She would sing too:"Hey, La, Hey Lottie la". Sweet memory........
these girls did a great job and its so good to see people get into this music again, i play guitar and would love to start a band with these girls and bring back real rock n roll
So glad I was part of this Era in time so much fun so many memories heard this music all day all the time just turn on the radio the greatest artist people with talent didn't need to curse with every breath they took just clean music oh how I miss it !
I agree. I am older then most in here but if I knew this show existed I would have been all over it. I like stuff like VH-1 movies that rock etc.... anything that's about the old school music.
Always a catchy song, and this update has plenty of merit. The backing vocals, "my boyfriend's back" sounds so sexy, and Stacie's lead has a dreamy echo to it. Great dance/prance moves. Enjoy!
American Dreams is in my short list of all time greatest TV series (along with Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke). And this from an old guy. It was the perfect TV show, totally family-values old skool entertainment with a fine cast and fantastic writing. I'm glad that they pulled this off while Dick Clark was still around. Maybe one more season would have been good. I loved it that Mom and especially Dad were heroic figures in this show instead of idiots. Just the perfect TV show. I got up for it every Sunday night.
Played rock in the 60's and watched the TV rock/dance shows. This was a pretty good flashback. Can't tell you the thrill of hearing this music on the AM radios when it was first played!
I totally remember this show :) Hilary and Haylie Duff came on to play the girl group who sang "Leader of the Pack", JoJo once guest - starred as Libda Ronstadt, and Kelly Clarkson guest-starred one, too.
I really looked forward to that show on Sunday nights!! I even exchanged emails with the writer of the theme song, since I'm a part-time musician. The music on that show really blew my mind though I heard it as a child of the 80's.
Great video. I can remember having my hair similar to the lead singer...Boy, it was along time ago !! ha ! It was all `french combed` and flicked up all round !!!!!!
Oh, the good ole days! Loved the music and the dancing! A slower way of life! No cell phones, or answering machines! We drank out of the hose, no bottled water! Transistor radios! Those were the days!
My goodness, 1961...in color...with three prettier girls? And they sound (at least) as good as or better than the originals...with stereo. I'm impressed. And thanks for sharing this, Adina J.!
For me it is about the quality of the music, outfriginstanding sound, melody, vocals, drummer is poppin and the song just has an infectious groove to it.
these girls were knockouts
Yup
A "WONDERFUL" music video !
The tune, choregraphed movements and the casual wardrobe. 💖
To right 👍 👀
How can anyone give a thumbs down on this video? Three gorgeous girls singing and dancing, what’s not to like? Double thumbs up here!!!
Yeah, back in time when many girls still had a reputation to save.

One word: ADORABLE. Make that two words: ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!
Beg to differ, two words no mix ups Mariah Carey❤
Wow, very well done. I almost thought this was the original song. The costumes, dancing and even the people in the audience are period perfect.
Man, does this bring back memories... this is a great performance...the moves, the singing, the clam-diggers, all of it.
SAD we don't have such music anymore although of late I'm loving Megan Trainors songs ... they kind of depict the era
