Honestly, I think it is merely because the attacks are all Japanese names. If the opener was for attacks like Fire Blast, Lightning Blast or Wind Speed- just examples of generic names in English, it would be much easier for the English speakers brain to process quickly. My ninja is at 60 right now, and this all seems pretty doable. I just associate each attack with an English word to process combos quickly
Honestly I gave up on learning the names, read over the abilities to learn what they do. Trying to listen to it on video was rough to keep up. The doc link is dead but here's the updated one: docs.google.com/document/d/1otFJjmazk1z55gbcynSHQyXOzC2IvnNUM_q5KwVWvvg/edit#heading=h.p1fvl3qar611 I just looked over and over that opener, and try to understand why they were making the choices they were for ordering. Had to remap some of my button layouts to make it feel more comfortable, practice sub sections of the opener instead of all at once, and then just practice practice practice. The intiresting thing is after that opener, it's pretty chill for a bit, your buffs will come back up gradually just use them. After you get that, aim for the reopen. He mentions it in the video but not when it happens, its 2 minutes in you'll do the "re-open" and it will look strange if you're watching cooldown timers. Its easiest to tell with Kassatsu since it is a 1 minute timer you'll get to do it twice, and the 3rd time it's about to be useable again you'll want to do start with Suiton and reopen. Ten Chi Jin will still be on cooldown and so will shadow fang but they're both so late in the opener that if you timed it all right, they'll come back up right when they're needed.
One thing of note that may help people when casting Jutsus. It is better to think of the combinations as the number of hand gestures and final gesture in the series rather than as a set sequence. While explicitly stated in the tooltip that I can cast Raiton using Ten->Chi or Jin->Chi it can help to think of it as One cast->Chi. Likely you will fall into set combinations based on your preferred input methods and keybinds but for those times where you fatfinger the wrong starting button, all is not lost. If I want to cast Katon and accidentally start with Ten then my brain doesn't lock up when I know I can transition to anything ending on the other two mudras and requiring 2-3 buttons. Or Shuriken I guess... With the changes it's not quite as useful as it was.

At first I thought I was doomed, this shit seemed so complicated and unreasonably hard. But believe me, you get used to it. After taking my time and realizing what each attack did and how to utilize certain spells that you wouldnt think about at first glance. I have finally understood Ninja.
So im not sure if this is known with ninjas or not, but if you have two mudras - before an encounter with mobs in a dungeon - you can cast huton followed by doton. If you place down your doton and then immediately turn invis (thats ofcourse you didnt attract mob aggro) you can reset to two mudras again. This will allow you to spam katon twice instead of once. I am writing this because whenever I meet with another ninja i genuinely see none of them doing that trick. Only when I explain it to them do they actually start doing it. I also had to give that tip to a level 80 nin as well, which confused me. I discovered it purely by accident and was wondering if this is just an unknown mechanic or something that is known and the ninja players i had were just not good?
the only thing im wondering is, sometimes when im using doton i will throw a fuma and then ireball and then doton. how do i do this constantly? i figured just speed up tempo or press exactly as its refreshed but cant figure out if its a timing thing or what.

Hm, ok, maybe I'm dumb, but _why_ do you want to delay trick attack, at all? Isn't it the best idea to put all the DoTs out asap, so other group members profit from that and the battle is over quickly?
Just wanted to point out that as of 5.1, you still want to cast ninjutsu outside Trick. If you allow your charges to cap, you are throwing away damage every 20seconds after that. So long as your trick timer is >20s, you are free to toss in a Raiton. After the initial opener for NIN (when Trick ends), you can get in x2 Raiton before Trick comes off of CD. Use 'em or lose 'em.

If you use the opener and rotation properly, ten chi jin would always ready per 2 trick attacks. TA has 60s cd, and TCJ's is 120s. First TA (opener) comes up with TCJ, 2nd TA no TCJ, 3rd TA with TCJ again and repeat. You shouldnt delaying your TA unless the mechanics force you to do so, because normally, TA window matches with the your party members rotation too.
Bladezz Lines up perfectly with current raid group buffs, and is optimal for an entire fight since everything comes off cooldown at the right time for reopeners and consistent dmg.
