Corey changed his mask early because he doesn't like to wait, Jim, Mick and Craig almost never change their masks. Sid just goes wild with his every time.
Micks mask is easily the best
The album is called The End, So Far and it comes out September 30th. Love that this song showcases every member in the band. The part where you can hear the bass clearly, Corey’s amazing vocals and of course, Michael Pfaff (tortilla man) is always fun to watch 😁
Corey can sing amazingly. When he sings! Slayer was barking like that 35 years ago and they took a back seat to Pantera, megadeath,& metallica!
I think the album name is The End, So Far because it's their last album they're obligated to make for Roadrunner studio. Warner Bros ended up buying the company in 2010 and Slipknot didn't like the changes they were doing to Roadrunner and been wanting out of the contract.

After all these years Corey’s voice has evolved, de-evolved, then evolved again into something greater, his voice is amazing
I loved this song, I think it's much better than "Chapeltown Rag". I hear some new stuff in here while maintaining that classic Slipknot sound. Jay's drumming on this is phenomenal, and I really like the chorus of this song. Overall I would rate this song an 8/10, I hope there are more songs like this on the new album!
This song sounds like classic slipknot especially Vol.3, but personally Chapeltown Rag is better for me, can't wait for "Yen" coming out in Aug 5th!

Killer song! I love that Sid is carrying around his old mask like he use to do in the old days. I saw a video from one of their European concerts this week and he is still carrying it around on stage😂😂. The album is being released on September 30th and the tracklist has been already been released.
As far as the lyrics, Corey has done a few interviews about them already.
He said, "It’s almost like people are ringing the doomsday bell. You’re sitting there going, ‘Well, it’s been fun! Everybody, pick up your trash when you’re leaving, and I’ll see you in Hell!’ That’s kind of what that song is. It’s just like, ‘If we don’t figure it out, I’ll see you when the meteor hits, basically.’”
But also, "It’s like, ‘If you motherf**kers want to kill each other, go ahead. I’m just gonna stand back and will not be in the line of fire,’ because I’m tired of the idiocy. I can only watch stupid s**t for f**king so long. So yeah, it’s me basically going, ‘Go ahead, just f**king beat the living s**t out of each other and see what happens."
Lol I just woke up. The more I listen to this song the more I like it. I would love to see you guys do a journey through the evolution of the big 4. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax. I wasn't so much of a Anthrax fan, Exodus was my Anthrax.
I know this might be controversial, but I prefer Overkill over Exodus. I think TestAmenT or Overkill should've been in the Big 4 instead of Anthrax, Anthrax is cool but there are waaay better big name Thrash bands from that era. TestAmenT really deserves more recognition, they have a huge influence on a lot of the modern Thrash bands I've discovered, and they've consistently gotten better over the years.

I'm cool with Slipknot true fact I live in a town called Indianola Iowa. That's about 20 minutes south of where Corey Taylor grew up and went to school my baby's mama actually graduated from Lincoln High School with him. There is an annual summer concert that used to take place in my hometown called LaserFest Slipknot was the headliner for the very first one.

It's their album with their label record roadrunner.... They did a deal that in 1999 for 7 albums this is their 7th album. So hopefully they'll go independent or make their own label!! They're not going anywhere
So this is actually their last album with Road Runner Records. A lot of people are thinking this is somehow related to that. A new era of Slipknot.

I'm a huge Bob Basset fan, so I was obviously thrilled to see Sid's new mask - but Pfaff's is definitely my favorite upgrade!

I believe the “time to sing” thing is more referential to like the mafia and their use of the word sing. Particularly in the part where Corey says, “Think Hard You Bastard. You’re Gonna Tell Me Why”

I'm glad yall liked this! This is so much better than the chapeltown rag. Liked that, but this is sooooo much better and it's soooooo catchy. Corey's vocal range is unreal on this one. This is their 7th and final album with Roadrunner Records, per their contract. They all voiced years ago that they would not stay with this label after the 7th, but it wouldn’t be the end of Slipknot. My personal guess is Clown is gonna start a record label.

Just as an FYI, sid and Michael (probably known to you as Tortilla man) changed their masks for this video, sid also has a second new one he's been using at some live shows (while carrying his mask from the beginning of the we are not your kind cycle, great touch). Jay, clown, vman, and corey have had these masks for a few months now and I don't think anyone else had big changes recently. Since this is still technically the WANYK era as they didn't really get to promote it through tours and such with the pandemic they haven't fully changed all of them, we'll be getting more new masks when the album comes in September. You don't have to worry about that lol.
Can't wait to see what else they have for us. We know the names and order of every song (its been posted around, this song is the second and chapeltown rag is third on the album) and it just makes me even more excited to hear them all.

LOVE the new song!! Chapeltown Rag was OK but this is awesome!! Chapeltown Rag and this song are part of the new album: The End, for now. Corey, Mick, Jim and Craid look to have pretty much the same masks form Chapeltown Rag. Clowns is a broken disco ball, Sid's totally new, Tortilla guy's, Jay, and Alex look like they've been modified a little but still same basic design. Personally, yes I have noticed a shift in society and the world in general and have felt like something is coming for a while now but what and how impactful it will be, I'm not sure. But Definitely feel the times are changing thing.

I bought the self titled album in '99 promptly after hearing Wait and Bleed. I was hooked after hearing Eyeless and I've been a fan ever since. I have enjoyed watching your journey, your reactions remind me of the first time I heard each of them. Hey you guys! Just got back from a Chili Peppers concert. Would like to see a reaction video of one of their songs that y'all may not heard b4.
The song was almost haunting and I don't remember the original giving me that, like that chill down to my bones.
She really just has such a unique sound that I really felt like I wasn't really ready for her. I am sure during the song some of you probably noticed that my mouth was hanging open and I had to remind myself to actually close my mouth so I don't look like a big dummy.
I am not really sure why shes not better known here in the US, because honestly, before people were telling me in the comments to listen to her, I had never even heard of her. But somethings telling me that's probably not going to be the case for too much longer because she has a lot of talent and she is super unique. I feel like that's going to take her really far. Thank you guys for recommending this. She was awesome.

"To me, it just seems like it's all the outrage and none of the punishment," he explained. "For the last few years it's been very trendy to be offended and outraged by everything, and yet nothing happens - especially in my country, which is just fucking ridiculous. It's almost like the tables have turned, and the more angry people get, the more the people who they're mad at just double-down on the shit. Slipknot .... period! And love you guys for your reactions. Corey and the group are on point, new music, new masks, but still the same 'in your face", stomp you in the head type of stuff! The band is in their late 40s (Corey 48), so I hope they can keep going. Yes, new masks every album, although I love Corey's mask in "Spit It Out" and "Psychosocial" .... btw, I own one of those masks!!!!

You guys should check out “synergy” by Dance Gavin Dance.. I heard that this latest slipknot album is suppose to be a two part album and my theory is that this is the end of slipknot for a bit hence “The End, So Far” but more of the end of being with Roadrunner Records will most likely make a comeback with a new record company or maybe their own record company or something
Sid has a new mask (multiple) and uses the severed head of his old one as a prop. Jay got a new one a few months back and I am not saying for sure but pretty sure he is already playing with new facepaint designs too. Vman has basically the same one (I think technically different sculpt but nothing not at least months old. Pfaff (Tortilla) has a new one its his first design he got to design. Mick and Jims are basically unchanged in concept but I think they are also technically new (don't quote me on that). Craig not sure but again same concept, maybe shorter spikes. And Corey has had that design i think since the debut of chappeltown rag but the mask community calls it his WANYK v2 but it may stay his one for this cycle we dont know yet. He also had it in the ho99o9 video.
They're in their 50's , hopefully we'll get more Slipknot
