I have the Mil spec version of this which has an insulated tube. These are really great to have. The tube in summer is great because u have cold water all the time and the quick link system is good too

Great vid. Can i know what kind of rubber sealing ring on the lid? The old omega was great. Never leak. After that the rubber gets out of shape and leaks like crazy. I had to apply Vaseline to lubricate it and prevent leaks but gets really messy. Please comment. Tkq
Thanks for the question. This is one of our most popular reservoirs and we have not heard of any issues with the rubber gasket. We're not sure the specific material used for the rubber seal, that sounds like a question for CamelBak directly. You can contact them at 877-271-1220. Good luck!

no i got it off of amazon i was just wondering if there were any reasons i got a camelbak rouge 2017 and in oder to clean the tube i wish i could detach it but i have to use pipe cleaners which i really annoying I've seen vids with ppl that had my exact bladder and they just pulled it off i haven't use it once yet I'm thinking its gonna take some use before i can just easily take it off when ever i pull on it rn it doesn't budge .
Horrid product . The oversized blue o-ring serves no purpose . I have tried everything and the reservoir leaks at the cap . I called camelbak and their “ phones were down “ called back later and got their answering machine . I live in the sierra mountains and hike 2-3 days a week . I can’t honestly say I would recommend camelbak
