Thank you for your Video. I'm from Germany and have a two year old Appaloosa. I want to ride him biteless and western but it's hard to finde a trainer, who do that. So I wanna do it by myself and I'm really thankful for educational videos. It's really impressive how well it works! Best wishes from Munich.
Thx so much for this video! Have a QH mare turning 26 next year. Doc bar bred and acts more like 5-6. Had a couple teeth pulled and hoping to do light riding as long as she’s healthy and joints allow. Thought about trying this. Beautiful roan by the way!!
I would sometimes put one on over your snaffle or other bridle and use both together in a controlled environment. Otherwise I'd put it on my broke horses and ride like in a halter. Should be simple enough if the horse is broke.
you've lost your fiador man. I feel sorry for that horse with all that weight bouncing off his chin. He needs to learn the principle of bend and the one rein stop. The people need to be taught the principle of bend instead of trying to make a hackamore into a leverage devise.
You ruined the Bosal by soaking it putting wood pieses the weight and trajectory of Bosal is off you need a Fiador see how your Bosal is extremely FLOPPY AND DISTORTED you are getting only a small amount of the effectiveness of signal of the Bossl you ruined the tool just throw it away thx. Thx. Concerned
there are many ways to accomplish the same thing; I know plenty who soak their bosals and a maker that actually recommends it. Though I'll agree this one is much too big for the filly and shaped completely wrong. I work with Arabians and the way most shape their bosals is ridiculous.
This mare went on to be the best horse the lady has ever ridden. She continually tries to convince her friends to buy another Jim horse....so, unfortunately, your concern is ungrounded.
Great information thanks

You're so welcome. Please let me know if you need any additional help.

agreed, thank you sir
How did this fill end up when finished? I assume she's sold.
Lovely video! What mecate rein are you using?
This is just a loose soft black rope. Like a marine rope.
Enjoyed your video! How do you introduce a 15 year old horse to a bosal and can you trail ride with one?

Good job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much.
Did you ever do long lining or hand driving with the bosal? Is that possible? If so how?
I typically use just a halter for that as it has rings for attaching the long lines. I'd hate to wreck a good bosal.

Poor horse, it’s a baby. Much too young!

Why do you ride 2 year old ponies that are really too small for you. You will be damaging their bones, I feel really sorry for these ponies xxx
