Dire, you had three emeradic crystals in the same chest as your emeralds. You didn't have to use an emerald. Also, pro tip, you don't have to change slime blocks into slimes before you make slimy dirt. You can just use the block itself with the dirt and sand. Your left reactor hopper isn't "hoppering" because of the lever on the thermal centrifuge.
As someone whose 2 fermenters are supplying 53 biogas engines without issue, seeing Dire use normal Vanilla saplings for Biomass triggers me into the next dimension.

Direwolf, that "old" ethanol setup is the same as mine, except for 1 difference. This difference is a tank with a comparator measuring when the tank gets below 12 buckets. Cause the stills, they use 1 b of biomass to create 300 mb ethanol right? And they activate if the output is missing 1 mb, therefore a lot of biomass is wasted. I was struggling to keep up my saplings until i did this change. Now i dont waste all of them. And i have no problem whatsoever. I only use the base range of the farming station, and i dont even need that. (Forgot to mention, the comparator locks the stills if i have 12 buckets or higher in the tank) you should consider it
You have Immersive Engineering, so go ahead and make an excavator on a coal vein - you'll get a few stacks of emerald (and diamond) ore. At this point in the pack, making an excavator and feeding it RF is quite easy :) It's also a great source of absurd amounts of uranium.
Totally right - people keep saying Void Ore Miner but I'm not sure they understand what the recipe looks like in this pack. Excavator is way cheaper and pretty OP once you spend a little time tracking down the right kinds of ore veins. Coal/uranium/gold veins and I was set on what I needed for a long time.
hames tree it runs on RF and it produces loads of ores, both metals and crystals, from overworld/mining world, nether and end. I got stacks of sjeldonite which I can't process yet. So 21 basic bins in the basement to store all that stuff and an semi-automated setup to smelt all vanilla ores.
hames tree The void ore miner and the IE excavator together mean that my friend and I have just processed over 57k iron ingots and we got a backlog of 10k gold ore, 30k copper ore, and we have successfully prospected for all known mineral veins except crystalite. So we just move the excavator as needed. The RF needed comes from two Solar Arrays lvl2 and two IE diesel engines which are fed by biodiesel from IE refinery, squeezer, fermenter, which again are fed by cloches. Right now considering building another cloche to produced coal dust from prunae seeds to drive some EU generators to give the starting energy to create that semi-automated uranium processing direwolf uses for his reactors. I'm grinding away on a lot of reinforced stone to produce lonsdalite which will be my reactor shielding, just in case.

Good to know about the Molecular Transformer's flickering... I disconnected it from the rest of my system because I thought it was not getting all the EU from my Reactor... One of the DireDerps I caught this episode was Dire using one of his Emeralds when he already had a few of the crystals from dungeon chests. I didn't bother making energy storage for my reactor because I can just pour it all into my Transformer/Mass Fab. I'm currently making 48 more Iridium Ore so I can make the Tier 3 Advanced Solar Panel...
i wouldnt be surprised if advanced circuits were cheap to replicate considering he changed their recipe so much, where as for the normal circuits were not changed
Ken Moore yeah I'm a little bit saddened that dire's actively avoiding my mod more bees. I know bees aren't everyone's favourite thing but it's one of those things you can do easily on the side.
Dire, you should have just gotten rid of all the walls in your base, make it all one big room. You teleport between rooms more than you use the hallways, so getting rid of the walls would just make it easier
Dire you can use enriched nuclear fuel to get 9 nuggets of fuel for which you can use up the excess uranium in the chest and get more bang for your buck
i love the IDEA of gated behind different packs, quest like; but damn this was just overly complicated. this is where i had to stop the pack, the idea that i could use UU matter to get some of the items that just took forever to build as a shortcut was a wonderful idea but god damn those non specified recipes were expensive. like that basic circuit should have been quite cheap to make not cost more than a machine chassis. i enjoy watching this because like i said i love the idea, hate the execution. just think about the fact that he basically doubled down on his entire reactor episode to make that second one OFF CAMERA! because uu-matter is slow and its recipes are expensive (not counting the specific altered ones) i wish a modpack had a large starup cost then was easy to use after that, like making AE2 controler/ crafting panel expensive but the rest of the parts pretty similar to standard. it just sux that every little thing is walled behind a 42 part crafting recipe. atomic reconstructor is expensive to make but when you have one running its ok, empowerer takes a chunk out of your materies, big reactors controller costs an arm and a leg, ect.
You should really look into making an enderio inventory panel system. I just made one, and it's much more convenient, especially since the recipes are so convoluted sometimes
He's well past the point where that's the best option. The RFTools remote storage scanner + modular storage is a better solution once you have access to machine frames. He should have gone EIO panel as soon as he hit the Ender age then upgraded as soon as the RFTools stuff opened up.
It looks like circuits and advanced circuits have an alternative recipe? Based off of those dirty/broken circuits from the stone he was processing earlier?
What items are scannable in the Mass Fabricator? It would be neat if Dire could just scan a MFSU in it, instead of all those complicated crafting steps, just waste some EU and BOOM! MSFU! :D
I think 238 is actually part of the name of that specific item, and not the ID. Might be worng though, it's been long enough since I last played with IC². Edit: But probably is, since iirc item IDs are a little grayed out and in between brackets.

Actually he needs to do bees for Tech Reborn as well the Vacuum Freezer requires an Icy Shard which is from the Icy bee only.

The hopper is not hoppering into your reactor because the lever for the thermal centrifuge is right next to it, causing it to be powered.

Hey Dire, as a supplement to your biomass EU generator, why not make a wind turbine? They're cheap and supplement 1 IRL week's worth of power.

It's a new 'mining age' biome. And extreme hills isn't the only biome that emeralds spawn in.
