Some things that will help you when you visit plants:
1. Wireless Crafting Terminal with the infinity card
2. Matter receiver on auto craft
These are both very good advice. The first one is just good advice in general.
The pickiness of a machine with regards to power attachment is proportional to the square root of the amount of Direwire it will provoke. This rule has proven especially true in Advanced Rocketry machines. Basically if a machine is very forgiving with wire attachment almost no Direwire is produced and if it is very exacting it produces a Direwire explosion. This rule does not apply to wireless networks of any sort such as those involving Flux Plugs and Tesseracts. #thefirstlawofdirewire

perhaps you should use autocrafting to deal with ruby and bauxite processing? that way you can pu just wha you need in the machine and there will be no leftovers.
Kar Dragon if he wants some on hand, he can put the recipe in the interface with a chest, and have an interface/storage bus keep x amount in stock.
Dire spends as much time teleporting wildly as he would walking to where he needs to go.
The tech reborn machines use IC2 upgrades
I love how he keeps thinking these are IC2 Classic machines. It's GregTech from the pre-1.7 days, ported and "re-imagined" for modern versions of minecraft.
I really hate how he didn't even try, despite the TR machines having exactly the same interface.

It no longer does it in 1.12, annoyingly, as I have two different coppers, Thermal Dynamics and Mekanism, and no way to convert one to the other. >.
There is a conversion upgrade for drawers to auto-convert in 1.12
It's a feature, but it also can cause problems, so making it opt-in was probably a good idea... though I can see a lot of evil pack makers dangling that in front of players or even disabling it outright... rather than fix the underlying problem of overuse of the ore dictionary. Oh well.
isn't there a book in the thermal mod ?
Can't pipe in / out into a book, needs to be a machine or something, like an auto converting storage drawer. I started out with TD machines to process ores until I started to auto mine in the underdark, that overwhelmed the TD machines, so I switched to Mek elite factories (7 process in parallel per machine) which changed the output ingots from TD to Mek. >.
Can you make Machine Structures with UU? That would save you a lot of Chrome, its worth a Scanning process

Dire, you should be auto processing those ruby ores in the SAG Mill and then Macerating the gems to dust for Chrome, and that should be a crafting pattern that you use to keep either chrome ingots or dust stocked in another interface. You're playing with GregTech, on-demand is the absolute worst way to use GregTech machines.
Honestly you should just have a basement room dedicated to TechReborn processing, and have a processing line/machine for every resource that outputs into a buffer that backstuffs to stop the processing. It will save you a lot of headaches and waiting around in the future, unless there's machines in the next age that let you bypass TechReborn (does Mekanism completely replace TechReborn? I haven't gotten that far)
And if Direwolf20 read posts, this would mean something.
And here I am waiting for bees because I don't feel like looking up a tutorial and how to breed them. Also everyone was telling you about the storage drawer conversion.
EDIT: It's pretty annoying how all the other Rocketiering multiblocks form a nice looking structure except the arc furnace which looks like an atrocity.

Hey Dire, can you please run a competition or something in your Discord to get someone to come in and cleanup your Direwire? Like, hang with Dire for a day? I think it would be a great idea! We can stop cringing at the wiring and you get more efficiency for your base! :D Plus, it has the advantage over your previous comps where the user had to pick what to do. But it's okay if you don't want to, we love you all the same.
Curtis Alcock this series should have been called the age of direwire. If he had a better plan than the 9x9 to start eith, he could have avoided much of the cable mess

Not really. In order to plan for things like that you need a good idea of the future requirements, or a very modular and structured style designed to incorporate arbitrary expansion in any direction.
The first one would require Dire to be familiar with the core mods in the pack, the second would make everyone yell at him for building an ugly base.
Just wait for him to rebuild his base now that he's most of the way through the pack. He usually manages to make his second base pretty good.
Am I the only one who thinks that the dire wire is not a problem and is run as efficiently as possible

Dire, my advice for circuit automation(the forestry ones) use a count filter for redstone ingot and add a chest with an importer that places redstone in the machines

Direwire is a thing to be worried about. I will admit that completely, and what I call it anymore. Why I try to be as efficient as possible, with what mods I have available.
Dire, I'll assume you never played gregtech back in the day. Tech reborn is a reskinned version, you're gonna need a LOT more rubies. I played on a multiplayer server with gregtech and the old AE, and I was literally trading for rubies constantly to build my fusion reactors. You need far more chrome than you currently foresee, assuming you intend to complete the pack. I'd go as far as to suggest you build another void ore miner focused on rubies and Redstone with max accuracy modifiers. You'll also end up with at least 16 electrolyzers to sustain production of fusion material and chrome. Just giving you a heads up, but being a person who enjoys automation as much as you, tech reborn aka gregtech should be right up your alley. It requires a TON of automation to keep everything running smoothly. Cheers, and I'm looking forward to seeing your solutions to the upcoming resource deficiencies lol

it's always nice when dire makes efforts to make things look better, i'm a person of architectural tastes, although I can settle and still enjoy dire messes. but I never see him improve on making outdoors areas look good unless it's something like botania. I don't wanna ask much but as he improves his building efforts I hope he doesn't end up forgetting about the natural side of the world. :3
hey dire, not sure if you've done this before or not. if you want to start your base over again. maybe using a quarry to dig your base out, and start again in the same spot and/or fill with stone/dirt. might be a neat idea. cheers :)

I would too. Also I would use conveyor belts everywhere, basically one interface per machine.
dunno about the conveyor belts, entity count might get a tad high and affect fps/tick rate.
Thing is, the system doesn't care which interface the product is dumped into, so he could just move one of the stamps closer to the other, so the output of the first machine is the input for the second.
In one world I made 5 IE presses and hooked them up to refined storage auto-crafting. 1.10 MC. Gonna try this with 1.12 mods soonish

Only do this with cells you won't need later though. Compressed Air is a no brainer for Extracting, but I am past this point and still not sure if I ought to have kept the Hydrogen (to make Deuterium etc.) or not.
I did the whole pack except the creative age and never needed them
I so miss the wrench api that let every basic wrench from all the mods work across the board(at least for rotating|swapping config on a side like input/output|and picking up cables/machines)

Use patterns to fix the electrolyser issue. Don't automatically put things there.
Can't you automate the redstone ignots with AA's item relay lasers? If I remember from your let's play series the ESD can be limited to certain inventory slots. That or maybe something from RFTools? Not a clue how that mod works so that could be fun.
Just a heads up. End diamond stuff doesn't have durability... meaning that a killer joe can be quite effective with an enchanted end diamond sword.
Hey direwolf20 to fix the ruby dust and bauxite problem is maybe add a recipe to make chrome and titanium to the interface and the ore to the macerator to craft the plates on demand?
you said something about your molecular assembler line getting big.... Sorry but you're not even close sir. I once had a setup with 32 Me Interfaces, each one connected to 4 molecular assemblers (it works FAR faster that way believe me!). Could easily have duplicated that as many times as needed, My ME controller was a 7x7 square so had a LOT of 32 channel bundles available.

My ME system change the steel ingot from IE into steel ingot of IC2 and so i cant make steel rods. how do i change this? please someone help

How far are you from getting flight of sorts? Watching you jump to place things is funny and all but it hurts to watch you struggle lol.
He's past it. He has already visited the end, flight is well within reach for him, he just has yet to take advantage of it.
Creative flight is a way off, but jetpacks and other limited flight were possible as soon as he got an Elytra from the End. The good jetpacks were expensive at the time, but now very affordable since their main cost is the capacitors for all the electricity they'd store and he can make those from UU matter.
@direwolf20 - will there be a World Download?
More than likely not he does world downloads for his single player direwolf20 pack only and he never did it for another series and most likely will never will
