I adore the fact that Bullet Journal is such a LIVING concept. It constantly evolves and changes. I really wish we would get the second book about this method - a catalog of all the things we've discovered since the original publication
we also wish we could have a second book! its on a very long list of things we want to do 😂
These are cool. I don’t have that kind of structure to my daily logs, but I find myself writing a lot at the end of the day, whether in bullets or paragraphs depending on how I’m feeling. I love to yap in my journal and tell all the stories of the day lol!
LOVE this idea of having a dashboard for the day but even more having it relate to your long term intentions that are hard to active on. However, I love the examples even more! Not only is it helpful to see how you used this new thing, but it also validates using our real handwriting in our bujo (not fake instagram artwork!!). Clearly these examples are close to lived experience but just edited for clarity and sharing on youtube. There is an authenticity coming thru that helps convey your ideas. That helps me so much going forward!
This Daily Dashboard idea fits in exactly with a challenge that came up in my Morning Pages today. And because Bullet Journalling is such an adaptive system, I know I'll be able to work the Daily Dashboard idea and turn it into something that works for me. Thank you!
Loved this, Ryder. Especially the inclusion of a "Story" from our day, beautifully described as a lesson (insight) or an event, something that mattered. It is wonderful to have recorded these golden nuggets or highlights of our days. It helps us become more aware of, and alert to, the shining moments of our ordinary days. There is beauty in the mundane.
Like this very simple approach with a couple of bullets and a line below. I find these minimalist approach are the easiest to keep up. Will try it out!
Hope it works as well for you as it does for me
I was just reviewing the key concept of INTENTION in the context of the Bullet Journal method, and then this video came out. THANK YOU! It helps a lot.
Sometimes the Algorithm works!
I began to watch this video and it sounded so weird, the voice, the facial expressions, everything. Until I realized I was watching in 125% speed. Back to normal, thanks!
I've been doing this for the past month-plus already, and it makes y the biggest difference in my life. Having my intention and wins always in view keeps them in my mind as I go through the day. For me the intention is what I want to hold as true for me for the day, a state of being while I'm doing the things that make the day a win. The wins are small, thins I know I can get done- definitely not stretch goals! Really excellent, Ryder! ❤
Really appreciate this, Ryder. It is timely as I am wanting to capture a daily story. This is good tool and way of capturing it in a consistent place and not sprinkled into my daily log.
So great. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. Learning keeps growing.
Love this! My BuJo is mostly Tah-dah (vs. To do) these days. So a lot of ideas don’t work for me. Daily Dashboard will be an excellent element for me to incorporate. Golden! Thank you, Ryder!
Oh, I love this. It really simplifies things. And I hope things work out with Paul!!! ☺🙏🏽
Thank you for this guide.
This is so helpful! It would help me when I do my end of week reflections.
I am really enjoying the small, monthly Bullet Journal. Well Done Ryder, a 3 month pack is exactly what I needed.
I am so glad to hear this! It took us quite a while to refine it to what you have in your hand :)
I am so happy for this video I will definitly add those ideas in my practice
I love this idea - thanks so much! :)
Ryder, this is wonderful! I am going to incorporate this starting tomorrow.
You don't know how much I needed this itis right on time😭😭😭😭😭😭💕
Playing with my BuJo heart with showing examples in pocket and regular book. Try to use pocket size BuJo as my daily driver. Would love to see your thoughts about that.
stay tuned!
Really interesting and thought provoking, thank you very much!
Thank you for watching!
I like this idea a lot. I already do a sort of daily event/lesson/story on my monthly page since I don't have a lot of monthly appointments to track. I've been thinking of that list as my version of a habit tracker - it's proof each day that I've done something intentionally towards my goals.
I like the idea of a daily dashboard giving you a space to keep your most intentionally chosen tasks top of mind. I think I may coopt that bottom circle as a place to drop a daily creative idea or question - as one of my intentions is to nurture/train my idea generation skill. Or I may make my "daily idea" the monthly list for June and put the daily story here as you did. 🤔
Either way, love it! I really enjoy that the content lately has been more about using the bujo structure to intentionally create the life you want, vs. simple time/task management. Thank you!
Oh i like that idea of having proof!
Love this concept and will adopt this. It strikes me though that is will be more powerful to write an intention in a more active tense. All of these seem to start with “I want” - that’s not an intention. “I will” is, to my mind, much more powerful in terms of commitment to action - intention!
and not someday, today!
Very interesting and simple concept.
I simply love this. Thank you!
back at you Blaine!
Loooooove this!!!! ❤😊
Didn't expect the comic sans in the wild but made me laugh. That's gotta be intentional
I thought that was Comic Sans too, but second guessed myself because I couldn't believe it! 😅
I *just* started using a line to divide my “yes these things today” tasks from my “ideas of things that could be done or can happen later” notes. I even was tying the dashboard section back to major goals, though there are some days where it’s set on work focus tasks. Seems we were thinking along the same lines here!
Making sure each day’s activity log makes your life easier the next is a good place to start. ❤
I’m just tired of striving, I want to know and live my life today. If there’s something else I know I need to try to get, then at least I’m starting from a real place that is intrinsically mine ❤
I have my pets, my healthy meals, my church, the books that make me feel at home in them, my home that I keep safe and clean, and my finances I keep in order❤
I don’t really feel the need to strive for being special anymore. But I care for my talent, for music, by reading books and staying active. Lofty goals can b exhausting without a humble lifestyle that you are happy to own. ❤
Ryder, your hair looks on point!
Love the Bujo method. I’m reading your book for the third time.
Thank you kindly - I hope there's new insights for you even as you re read the book
I love writing a meaningful memory from that day in the daily log!
How does the dashboard work when you have more than one intention? Stick with one per day and change each day? Or change weekly? Monthly? What's "most alive for me right now" changes multiple times throughout the day! :) I like the idea of focusing on one intention per day but not sure how to include other intentions, thanks
I've been doing something similar to this alreaady! So cool to see your take on it Ryder
that's great!
I'm going to give writing down a daily intention a try! I haven't been focused on my bujo practise as much lately, so it's time I get back into it!
Yes! Always begin again when you can
I use Twos for my journal. This app does everything.
As someone who already does something similar (plus bullet points as a memory practice at the end of my day), I feel very validated by this video 😂

WORDS format--is there more information on that? I am struggling with O-Observe. Is that just a "journal" entry or is there something specific that should be observed?
So, I am trying this … but want to stay with mit W.O.R.D.S. Log out at the end of the day. One question: Do you set an Intention for the day or a bigger one (from the front intention page?), so its for a period?
Wow, I use it
I like the idea of setting up the dashboard when I do my PM reflection. But what if I need to write something down for today and I have no space for notes (in today)? Do I write things down in "tomorrow"?
Is this similar to the reflection, page or different? I’m not sure how to include the reflections in a bullet journal.
WOW
It would be great if you and your team put this new info in your book.
And in spanish ❤❤
13/5.
Dommage, il n'y a pas de traduction en français, je ne comprends pas l'anglais tant pis pour moi
Love the idea but I don´t understand how often you set the intentions, like you set an intention every day or once a week or a month? I just don´t get it
For every "season" of your life, he said. Whatever that means for you.
@@AmanCreatesArt oh maybe I didn't pay attention in that part thank you
I love this. I really have no idea how to find the words for intentions though. I need examples I think.
Very much like your top three priorities for the day.
Relationship: write thank you note
Health: walk for thirty minutes
Mind: read for half an hour

I don't quite understand it, but will review it again.
