Looks fun, now I have to figure out how to do this solo.
Yeah I'm in the middle of this now. Whatever you do, make sure you can break all the trans bolts first. Especially top 2 long bolts and the two nuts opposite the CVs. They gave me big trouble. And don't skimp on the leveller and jack the trans while lifting. Everything else was straight forward except exhaust bolts were rusted (soaked in penetrant for a day) and AC couldn't fold over since I got new hoses.
I have so many questions for you man. I want to get a short block just for piece of mind. Nothing wrong with my car now. You made it look so easy.
I have done stuff to my car and other cars so Im not a complete noob at this. Great job.
I mean its a subaru you cant go from having an extra block laying around just incase.

I evacuated the ac system at my work before bringing the car here to avoid paying a mobile ac repair business and avoid the osha fines
