I know there will always be a lot of criticism on a product thats asking a higher price for something. But before i base my opinion based off of , i can do this in ableton, i will fully see how this works to determine if its worth the price
The CTRL 49 is a great-looking controller and the arpeggiator functionality is fairly expansive. However, it is primarily a keyboard and the arp is limited to a single channel and just 6 parameters. ARP isn't aiming to compete with classic-style controllers. (This vid shows the key difference: ua-cam.com/video/rWFOHhlZyfQ/v-deo.html) ARP has 4 arpeggiator channels, 40+ parameters, modulation and input key sync to ensure all 4 arpeggiators work in harmony. It also has chord, pad and drone modes, custom patterns, chord sequencing and parameter modulation and fx enabling arpeggio transformations over time. It's not for everyone but it isn't a run-of-the-mill arpeggiator.

It’s also very reasonably priced as well…Also though at 3:02 you mention a link “on top” that explains how Midicake differs from a traditional Arpeggiator but I don’t see it ..
