You can tell Zac truly is a DMB fan, he sang it exactly like Dave would, the runs, the mannerisms, everything
The absolute ultimate in brotherhood. These guys brought the real meaning to dancing barefoot under the stars and opening your spirit to love!!
I have seen Dave a million times but never Zac - dayam! Not just a good songwriter - he rocks!
Go see him. Always an awesome show.
Zac Brown is such a great singer, musician and all around great guy. I love his band! #ZacBrownBand 🎩
For real
I was in attendance. Unreal showing and collab. What a show.
Zac brown my favorite touring band . I have seen them 4 times at Fenway park. We will be there again in Aug!! , Dave Matthews one of the bands I hope to see one day.
You should they are amazing live. Haven't seen Zac Brown Band live though, would love to...
That reaction when Dave starts watchtower 🥲
That was one of the best renditions I’ve heard…. We’ll done ❤
My two favorite bands! I would have died to be there
WOW!
Best show ever.
#zacbrown #davematthews I'd have gave 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 right eye to be there❣️. Longtime DMB FAN & ZBB last 10 years one of my top 3
This is an amazing meeting of the minds ❤
Their cover of “ain’t it funny” by Willie Nelson is amazing too.
That is so "sick" no words🎸🎸🎸
Your comment gives me goosebumps and I decided to honor you, how long have you been a fan of mine?❤
I WAS THERE YALL.
One of the best nights of my life and definitely the best live show I have ever been to.
LOVE DMB❤❤
Nash is about a half hour from me. I stay away from that place as much as possible, only to go to concerts and such, this would have been amazing.
I've seen DMB a number of times, and finally saw Zac's band this summer. Great to see them on the stage together.
Love 😎
I watched this in person. I know Dylan wrote it and many have covered it, but this song belongs to Dave now. By far my favorite performance of the night and one of his best live. Such a great collaboration and it was a great show.
Written by Dylan popularized by Hendrix and perfected by DMB
I was there too. Absolutely amazing they are the the greatest
Jimi, dead, dave, bob. Personal favorite renditions
I want to argue ur point. I feel I need to. But…ur not wrong.
I was there too... my recording on my phone isn't as good though 😂
Just brought their new album about a week ago: walk around the moon. What a good blended fusion of funk, rock and folk
Hello thank you for your love and support towards my unending career🌹🌹.... Where are you from?

Amazing cover of this song with incredible musicians. Also I assume Zac did some logging right after the show based on his pants.
Wonderful...❤
Wow! What a performance. Two of the greatest!
Wife and I were there for this. Amazing surprise, thank you Zac. Great name btw
Love musicians who love dmb! Zac is sic.
God I wish I could have been there!
Musical magic
Saw ZBB open for DMB back in the day at Hershey
@@Zac-Brown late 2008-early 2009. BTW, your sound checks before concerts were epic. I am a divorced father and drive alot to see my kids so when Highway 20 ride came out.. Man. Why songs matter
Hello thank you for your love and support towards my unending career🌹🌹.... Where are you from?
so sick!
Zak stole the show.
So great!
5:23 Nice throwback to the Recently EP version with the "la la la la la" Zac, I notice.
Exactly what I was thinking!!! Rare arrangement being played here for sure!
Can wait to see you in PA!
I was thinking that just as Dave said it. " You sound good saying, check, check, check.....
Two world class guitarists at the same time!
Wow!!
🙌❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
DMB and ZBB tour please?!
Hello thank you for your love and support towards my unending career🌹🌹.... Where are you from?
... listening
✨✨👍
So say we all
👍 UPDATE on my yesterday’s 👎 comment of THIS performance. I’ve since watched more of ZAC’s (and Dave duets) music videos. I think it would have been great if they did one together of ‘Free’, and (esp.) ‘Into the Mystic’! The one I heard was with Zac and a female 🫨 who I’ve never heard of before (and didn’t care for). Zac on the other hand was very good imo, and I’m really liking him - both vocally and with the 🎸playing! * IDK who did the originals of those two songs, but IIRC both were done by someone else quite a # of years ago (going on 70, I KNOW I’ve heard ‘Mystic’ a LONG time ago, and 💖’d it ever since).
❤
❤👍😁🤘
This show was my first time seeing them. It was really good but I can’t help but to feel that it lacked something.
Holy shiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!! Best performance of this song ever!!!!!
Been wondering where Dave Matthews went to.
Was Zac laying pavers before the concert?
tough spot for Zac, unfortunately, not a great solo lead player. definitely sounded pretty rough at points. Would have been nice to see a song that lended his talents to a little bit more, still a fantastic performance, regardless, and they landed the plane.
Thanks for saying something. That was hard to watch. Whoever thought him taking a solo was a good idea was on something weird.
Yep lol
@@TheGrahamisaacson it had to be said. Love dave as my favorite ‘musician’ but it was definitely not a great choice for Zac!
Jimmi Hendrix song. I should know I was born in 50s
wrong-Bob Dylan
i am too old to get it ... too old school i guess
i hate to be that guy, but man i gotta brave the downvotes and say it, because i love this song. Dave Matthews butchered this with his howling. I'm a Hendrix fan, my self. I do love a lot of the other versions as well, especially the original.
I am really glad Zac Brown was there to salvage the song because he was amazing, especially the " and the wind began to HOOOWWLLL!!" part! That got me goin!
But DMB really needs to stay away from this song. That was painful at first.
Dylan:yes Hendrix; for sure, Dave and his band: over the top, This; not so much
Ai
Good have been better ,don’t know if Zack is better ,he played off into a cornfield and had to find his way out , guitarist or any given musician must play from his heart , or nerves get in the way ,,your mind gone blank , feeling what your playing sounds so much better than trying to come up with something, run to your gadgets to find sound , just play that guitar , make it talked
It's not the same without Dave....Far from Einstein was THE BEST!
Compared w Jimi’s version this is LAME😢😮😢
UGH 😩 - 👎 IMHO for this ‘cover’ of a what is a great, classic, Dylan song! I’m a Baby Boomer going on 70 and grew up with Dylan’s music, and esp. 💖’d THIS song! IDK what it was, but this entire performance was poorly executed, compared with other covers (as well as Dave Matthews together with Warren Haynes - ‘Cortez the Killer’, for one). Not only did the vocals 🫨 sound bad to me, but so did the guitar 🎸 playing. Great 🌟 song that deserved a better rendition. THIS was pure s**t 🤬 to me - I thought Zac and Dave were out of sync in every way imaginable.
Has to suck to sing with Dave. No matter how talented they are, they just don't have that "Dave" voice.
Still can't believe Zac allowed Bud Light to use his music in their commercials....SMH
If you're going to cover that song, I'm sorry, but when it's time for the guitar solo, you're not going to play or sound like Jimmy I get it, but God damn that was just terrible. If the song don't fit your style don't do it. But that song has to be justified.
