I’m super attached to my 2020 island and I crave to play again but I get bored so fast😕 and they should have a feature where if you already have a clothing item it shows you “purchased” when you’re in the sisters shop and give kicks his own damn store 😭

As for people freaking out over villagers being too sassy, I get it. If someone is playing this game to get away from real life for a while, they probably don't want a villager in their cozy game talking trash about them. So here's an idea for a compromise: have a personality slider from "sensitive" to "tough" (or something similar). When you set up your character for the first time, you'll be asked what kind of person you are. If you're the quiet and/or sensitive type, those sassy reactions won't show up nearly as often. If you're the tough "I can take anything" sort, then expect more savage dialogue (especially from grumpy villagers) and having to work harder to gain their friendships. Or maybe you're in the middle, so the slider will account for that too. The personality slider can be adjusted at any time you like, but villager reactions won't adjust until the next day begins at 5 AM.
The only thing I want them to add to this game is more personality to the villagers, I can only deal with talking about their floor bugs and how we have to be quiet so we don't interrupt their lunch. I'm looking at you Clay. Also I would be euphoric if they added owl villagers, cause then I'd do nothing but try to find all the owl villagers and finally have my owl village. HOOT
My wishlist for the next Animal Crossing: * more species for islanders - bats, owls, moths, ect * more complex islander personalities and more intetesting friendship progression - maybe even a feature to go on friend dates like in My Time at Sandrock * island is twice as big, preferably with a more varied terrain to work with - or, more island types to choose from * WAAAAAAY more plants - more tree types and sizes, more bushes, grasses, flowers, mushrooms. All that stuff * crafting changes most people want * more alien and supernaturao references
I like all these suggestions. I kinda doubt we'll get bug species since they'll want those for museum collectibles and such, but I'd love bats and owls and lizards. If we're going for supernatural or fantastical angles, dragon villagers would be neat 🐉!

Ive been playing recently and Im tired of my villagers trying to break into my house :/ I feel like you could just add an option to open the door for them if you want them to come in. My current solution is a mario pipe into a sort of utility room. bed, stereo, closet, mirror, kitchen, workbench, and a mario pipe.

In New Leaf you could go to Tortimer's island and join random online players to play mini games made by Nintendo, it was so much fun, trying to have a conversation in broken english with people from all over the world!! I hope they bring something like that back in the future. :) *ALSO* the medal system in New Leaf, the one with Phineas was so rewarding!!! much more so than stamps, in my opinion.

I am very new to games. And I only have Animal Crossing and only been playing since April. I am from way down South Louisiana...my wishes are: cucumbers, bell peppers, corn, peppers, gators, bigger island, swamp trees, deers, raccoons, (animals like a farm) not as villagers, as animals to turn my island into a farm/hunting lease!! Hahahahaha you know I want to sit on my back porch and watch the deer eat my corn out of my garden!!
I am worried if Nintendo would focus to much on online in Animal Crossing, cool items would be locked behind playing with other players, that would make me very not happy. 🧀

I’ve always said that I believe Nintendo listens to its playerbase. When Nintendo makes a bad game, or a game with bad features, it’s almost never because they don’t listen to fan feedback or because they’re lazy, it’s because they sometimes address fan concerns with the most archaic design choices. Whenever fans have an issue with a game or a feature, Nintendo always tries to resolve said issue in the next game or in later updates. Most of the time this works out fine, but sometimes it seems as though Nintendo so fundamentally misunderstand the complaints from their players that they make the issues worse. For instance, I remember Smash 4’s online being criticized for its lack of customization. You had two modes: “For Fun” and “For Glory”. These two modes had fixed rulesets, which made for a less customizable experience, but it also meant that you got what you were looking for. If you played For Glory, you knew what ruleset you would play by. Fast forward to Ultimate, they addressed the lack of customization, but it’s almost rendered moot by the fact that the game almost never seems to match you up with players who use the same settings as you, meaning you can never really guarantee what rulesets you want to play by.

Ok but, group stretching was one of my favourite developments because it was physically interactive (optionally) and I loved it
