Full Flight: American Airlines A319 Miami to Nashville (MIA-BNA)

- Hey guys! After a pretty awful experience on my previous flight aboard American, my expectations were at floor level going forward. So, naturally this flight was much better than the last. In this video, I flew aboard an American A319 equipped with their newest hard product on the aircraft type up to Nashville, Tennessee from Miami, Florida. While the seats aren't as good as some other airlines, they are pretty good for American's standards with adjustable headrests and fairly comfortable padding. There were universal power outlets, IFE touchscreens, USB ports, and headphone jacks at every seat which was nice. The crew, both on the ground and on the plane, were very nice and informative, but I couldn't help but notice that the FAs didn't have much to do besides collecting trash and a few announcements...since American cut their food/beverage service on flights under 2 hours. This I think is pretty unnecessary on their part, especially because basically all other airlines are doing it. Just shows how cheap American is. And when it comes to COVID-19, American is absolutely one of the worst in the country when handling safety precautions, as I say in the video. Really is quite a shame the direction the world's largest airline is going in. Besides these things, the flight departed & arrived on time and the scenery was just awesome. This flight alone I can look past all the negatives because of the gorgeous sunset, but American still is one of my least favorite airlines. Hope you guys enjoy!

Howdy, great trip report as always Mr. Jazz! Let me say this, AA did excellent and this flight is another reason why they’re my favorite U.S Airline! Also, the hard product here is the hard product I’ve got on every main line AA flight I’ve done!😸😻😸

Terrific catches! Terrific trip you had to Nashville! I found out last night that airlines and congress could not reach a deal so airlines are going to furlough some of their workers through NBC and other media/social media outlets. I hope to travel to Nashville in the future!

If you watch a video of a Delta flight he took from Detroit to Atlanta, his flight got diverted to Nashville and in the trip report he was saying anything else is better than going to Nashville so gotta see it, lol!

#2...AA is not cutting costs if you are paying for your drink and food! Why did you fly from DFW to MIA then to BNA? Did the fare you paid allow you to do that? Usually fares only allow you to fly directly not via an out of the way city like MIA would be in this case! I have noticed on some of your other vlogs that you take routes to get from A to B that involve a connection at C which is out of the normal direct path! And yes, I would love to hear you play your music!!!

I go back far enough to remember when BNA was a hub for AA--flew IAH-BNA,BNA-ORD in the early 90's,was privileged to fly a 727-200 IAH-BNA,an MD-80 to O'Hare. As of today,10/1,AA is releasing umpteen thousand employees from the payroll,due to the CARES Act not being renewed. Because of your Covid-19 rating,which I trust,AA is probably a 3rd choice for flying to AZ to see family--DL and SWA would compete for my dollars from Houston. I do agree,AA is being chintzy with their inflight service,what harm can come from just distributing those paper snack bags? Or how difficult can it be if a customer requests coffee or a soda? Glad you finally crashed at a nearby hotel,must've been exhausted!

It wasn't until July Miami issued a mask mandate and usually airports follow city ordinances, in Omaha where I live a mask mandate wasn't issued until August 11th lots of fighting over it and needs to be extended until December 31st like Kansas City or if the positivity rate is below 5%, Omaha Eppley Airfield abides by City of Omaha mask mandate so does Las Vegas Airport with the State of Nevada's mask mandate

I have never heard of measuring a flight time once you are airborne. The norm/standard is from gate to gate so your flight truly is over 2 hours long so you should have been served beverages and food even if only purchasing. AA is a disgrace!!!!! What a shame!
