Just had a connecting flight from Jacksonville (FL) to Denver (CO),(May 29). Had about 40 minutes to get off in Terminal A and get on next plane in Terminal T. We Took the train. It ran very smoothy. They had already started the boarding process. We made the flight and our bags were tagged with a Rapid Transfer tag attached to the flight # tag. Everything worked very well and I have to say after watching this video on Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport I am very impressed. They may be the World's Busiest Airport, but every time I have flown thru the airport I have never lost a bag or that it did not make its connection. Great Work by all the men and women who work there to make sure we all get where we are going safely. I for one am a very happy and satisfied customer. It’s not that it would be impossible to set up railways - in fact there used to be a lot more passenger trains in the USA than there are now. Most have been closed down or are only used for cargo (except for subways in the major cities), ever since commercial air travel has been a thing.
