"You wear the trappings of the Sith. You fight like the Sith. But this can be imitated, however."
Ngl Darth Joker is pretty funny name ! Although if nothing tells us he is a real sith. After all, using the Force, wielding a red lightsaber and wearing a mask doesn't make you a sith.
Finally somebody said it! Hoping the right choices were made with the writing of the show but I'm honestly not holding out for anything this time around. We've had too much good stuff lately they've gotta throw us a bomb eventually
@@masetheimpailer To the Jedi, Sith is mostly interchangeable with powerful dark side user. Otherwise why did Qui Gon assume Darth Maul was a Sith? I'm pretty sure he points to his power as the indicator.
"You wear the trappings of the Sith. You fight like the Sith. But this can be imitated, however."
Darth Jo-Kah would fit Star Wars naming stuff
@@EdTzani97 ngl true
I guess no one read the book “Darth Plagueis“. Darth Tenebreus had more than one apprentice. Darth Plagueis killed him.
True but also not canon
We also saw multiple dark force users in the clone wars and then we have inquisitors too. None of which are mentioned in any other film
@@ssj2carter Hey it’s a big galaxy. And How is Plagueis not canon, he’s talked about in Ep 3. Just because the mouse says he’s not. 🤠 I guess we just have to wait for more “legends “ to come to light. I’ll go back to reading my EU.
Darth Joker is a hell of a name considering the state that Star Wars is in being a complete joke
I swear LMAO
The mask looks more like Chainsaw man's head to me. I love his look. (don't get me wrong still not gonna sub to watch this show)
Definitely not watching this garbage
All this tells me is either the Jedi council will refuse to believe the survivors or there will be no survivors. The line about Sith being "extinct" is to highlight their ignorance on what is really happening in the Galaxy.
The Sith have been extinct for the millennia is the line in the Phantom Menace is i remember correctly
People keep quoting this but don’t understand it at all. The Jedi believe the sith have been extinct. That doesn’t mean there’s never been reports of any. Even darth bane taught to give little hints out there here and there to sew seeds of doubt.
Not to mention that any jedi who sees and knows this is a sith break no canon if they die or otherwise disappear.
@@chase1146 besides a red lightsaber doesnt make you a sith
If they belive that why are they obsessed with a prophecy with a chosen one destroying the sith if they are already extinct
@@chase1146or as with the Phantom means and attack of the clone the Oder dose not take the rumors seriously. Remember it was the Clone Wars Tv show that showed when the order learned that Dooku was in fact a Sith.
it was so funny to me that when i saw The Phantom Menace re release just a few days ago i got a little sneak peak of the show that is about to break the canon of the movie that i just saw 😂
I mean in Phantom menace Quigon doesn’t mention Maul carrying a red lightsaber as the proof that Maul is a Sith. Yea darkside users normally carry a red saber(both legends and cannon have different reason) but when was it ever stated that carrying a red saber is the defining characteristic of the Sith?
Blue or Green; they’re on the team.
In the Phanton Menace novelization, Qui Gon thinks Darth Maul is a Sith because he sensed the immense power and hatred emanating from him, and concluded that he couldn’t have been a mere dark Jedi.
I’m gonna hear the show out. I mean we saw first hand in TPM how silly the Jedi council is when Qui Gon literally tells them “hey I fought a Sith Lord on this desert planet” and they go “are you sure? I don’t think you did”.
Darth Joker: When the ships are down, these Jedi will eat each other…
"Wait until they get a load of the Dark Side..."
"You wanna know how I got these lightsabers?"
"Why, my dear delusional Jedi Knights... it hasn't even begun!"
I don't think this character we see is even a full sith, why? Well because we know the name of the series is The Acolyte but we don't even know who the Acolyte is yet. This is a common troupe, letting the audience believe a certain character is something when in reality it was another character
I'm not the most knowledgeable on if acolytes are allowed to indulge in the force and heavily into the ways of the sith but this very well could be the Acolyte and not our main character or they could just simply be a new character who's an sith assassin under Tenebraus or Plague control
Can you imagine a scene in the series finale where the bad guy is victorious, kills all the jedi and suddently his head gets cut off and Plagueis or Tenebrous is like "SIKE! So long, and thanks for all the fish." I'm really afraid that they will throw the novel out of the window, because I absolutely LOVED it. Some twist like that would be so freaking cool
@@ben17ism I would love that so much and yeah I'm with you there with the slight bit of fear of the show not turning out so well but we have to have hope I just thought I'd shoot out my thoughts in the comments because ik there's going to be a lot of negativity coming from the Disney starwars haters when we don't even know the full picture yet
Star wars fan try not to get mad at everything challenge
Darth Dude seems like a good name
So say this is an earlier apprentice of Darth Tenebrous before he takes on Darth Plagueis. He could be a failed apprentice who leaves Tenebrous and tries to strike out on his own or he could be put up to this by Tenebrous as a test of the jedi. Maybe this apprentice was never meant to be Tenebrous's true apprentice but just a placeholder like Dooku was for Palpatine. The harder bit to explain would appear to be this apprentice's power. How could he send all those Jedi flying with a force push (it may be he even kills all of these jedi). Thats some pretty serious power for the Sith master let alone an apprentice. Darth Maul was one of the best trained sith apprentices in history and he couldnt have taken that many jedi even before he was cut in half. His limit would probably be 2 jedi knights at once or one Jedi master and Padawan as we see in TPM. Sidious takes on 4 Jedi Masters at once easily killing 3 in seconds but the 4th is one of the most powerful jedi of all time and he cannot beat him. There are maybe a dozen jedi in that scene probably some Masters and some Padawans. Maybe a Sith Lord on Palpatines level could take down that many assuming there is no Yoda or Mace Windu level Masters there but a Sith Apprentice that is harder to believe.
It's a male and a human, It's the guy in the second trailer.
It's Amandala's twin character lol
Having zippers on his face mask it kinda reminds of the "Machine" from the movie 8mm
Yeah it really looks like a gimp mask. At least we know what he's into 😂
4:03 the assassin was confirmed to be a non-identified force user according to the exclusive look from the ending of the 25th phantom menace
Which means the assassin was not a Jedi or trained by a jedi, but able to use the force
I don’t know why folks are mad. It’s well established that a red lightsaber doesn’t necessarily mean Sith. Plenty of Dark Jedi have wielded them who were not Sith. Maybe we should watch the show and see if it’s a retcon or just a rogue Dark Jedi like Kylo Ren, who was not Sith, or Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, who wielded partially bled blood orange sabers.
Not to mention that Jedi Master Adi Gallia was known for wielding a red lightsaber in Legends I believe.
Perhaps he just killed all of the jedi that were close to him.
It’s literally in the shows name “Acolyte” I believe that’s what this character is, even the person making this show has said that she is sticking to the EU as much as possible, Quote: “Their is a Sith, an apprentice and the acolyte”
The deaths of many JEDI would cause a disturbance in the FORCE. And in this time period they're more powerful in the FORCE. And how would a dark Jedi know how to train in the ways of the Sith without a Sith. They can't open a holocron without being a Sith.
@@user-ok2hn5ek2f Ezra Bridger did.
Darth Joker hehe that's a silly name
Why that face?
Keep smile up!
People are always so quick to get triggered with the least amount of information
It is the new Predator from the next movie! They are combining Aliens, Predator, Jedi and Sith!
I think the little reveal of the sith was part of their Great Plan! They knew some members of the Jedi high council would keep it a secret. It put everything in motion, the Jedi were more involved in politics and became politically corrupt, which made it even easier for the sith to infiltrate, manipulate, and have indirect influence in the Government and the Galaxy as a whole. It makes sense.
Yoda: "Always two, there are: the master and the apprentice ... and the apprentice's secret apprentice ... and the master's secret apprentice ... and the master's secret apprentice's secret apprentice ..."
Mace Windu: "But which was killed? The master or the apprentice ... or one of the secret apprentices?"
Master Oogway: [A short pause, followed by a smile] "I don't know."
But what if it's neither Tenebrous or Plagueis? It could be Tenebrous's predecessur for all we me, or may be his master in the hours before taking the mantle of Dark Lord
I initially liked the idea that the council could be keeping the sith threat under wraps, then ran into a couple of problems.
First off, why discount, or not bring in qui gon? Despite their differences he was still an esteemed and respected master.
Second, i know the jedi have a history of "certain points of view" but what purpose would it serve mace and yoda to keep it to themselves, even from the rest of the council?
Im 99.9% sure this baddie isnt related to the baneite sith.
Theyre not prone to "losing" apprentices in ways that could draw attention. They just make them go away if theyre no longer useful.
They would also reveal themselves prematurely. They wouldnt test the waters, even to try to "hide deeper" or make the jedi think they had beaten them again. That would have just brought them back to front of mind, when they wanted to be a distant memory.
(Plus, they wanted the jedi too wrapped up in mortal affairs to really remember what and why they were what they were.)
Hell, palps hadnt broken cover even during order 66 except to a select few, and he never did publicly at all.
Im guessing its either some remnant sith cultist, or more likely a self taught fallen jedi.
I also wouldnt rule out if it was the latter, they might have gotten some nudges from plageus etc, just to forment some needed chaos for a larger part of the plan.
If it was a well known jedi, it would also help draw attention away from the real sith, and make the jedi second guess themselves, make them more rigid etc. always a good thing.
Ki-Adi Mundi: “Impossible! The Sith have been extinct for a millennium.”
Mace Windu: “I…do not believe the Sith could have returned without us knowing.”
But look at the way Mace looks at Yoda, he seems to say something completely different to Yoda with his eyes. Like he knows something, something that only himself (as Master of the Order) and long lived council members like Yoda, Yaddle, and Oppo Rancisis would be aware of: the Sith have survived and have finally decided to make themselves known. This could also be a factor in Yaddle’s decision to step down from the council. She desperately wanted to believe in the wisdom of the council and yet she still stepped down. A hint of guilt, perhaps? For being complicit in a lie and coverup regarding the Sith being out there in the galaxy somewhere. I mean, even after TPM and Qui-Gon’s death the Jedi Council were not exactly “grab ya torch and pitchforks” about hunting down and finding the other Sith Lord.
While the entire Order did not deserve its fate, I believe the Jedi Council certainly needed to be punished for their arrogance.
I would not come to conclusions yet of this unknown helmet sith 3:07
I am not a StarWars fanatic and can recognize that isn't Darth tenebrous or Darth plaguies as they biology or the head cranium and height isn't a match after researching
A😊
Prediction. The assassin girl is the sith at the end. The finale will be her entrance and she’ll kill a lot of the Jedi in that one scene if not all.
It’ll be a lot of exposition and pointless episodes leading up to that one big moment.
We seen how younglings of the clone wars era and now high republic era trained, and not others; not other periods, Luke's Jedi students are mature enough to be part of the group. Cal Kestis uniquely had parkour training as a padawan child, Cal kestis is mighty strong and flexible.
Minecrafts mods does include pre-existing assets
i don't understand how this breaks cannon at all? maybe darth joker dies in the series (making him/her a mere sidenote in some archive). maybe all the jedi that saw him die (shrowding his/her existence). how can u say that breaks cannon without watching the whole series?
More unjustified Disney hate from the fanbase. Come on, that helmet the sith lord (or dark jedi, might not actually be a full sith) was wearing actually looked cool.
Its Amandala's twin character, look at the hand that catches the red saber in the first trailer...
“Hey Jedi? You wanna know how I got these scars?
A
A story for another time.
Has it been confirmed these are Sith at all?
...i believe the actress is playing two roles...
I believe another actress is as well ..... CAM
Didn't Tenebrous artificially create Plagueis by doing genetic testing and setting his parents up to have a child together as they were the best candidates to produce a Force-sensitive child?
What DOESNT make “fans” mad?🙄
Darth Venom seems more fitting his black mask with the sharp toothed smile makes him look like Venom than Joker lol which kind of leads me to think it could be Darth Venamis which sounds like venomous which was a Bith Sith from Legends that was another apprentice to Darth Tenebrous he hasn’t yet been established as a character in canon continuity so they could easily make him human he doesn’t have to be exactly like the legends Version of Darth Darth Venamis
Looking forward to hear who it is!
This breaks alot of canon because the sith in this time period between the old republic and Phantom Menace are supposed to be hidden until the time Maul showed up to Qui Gon Jinn
What if it's not a Sith but just a Dark Jedi or a Dark Side user? They're not exactly exclusive y'know
The Jedi council would never lie, even if they were wrong, the Jedi council clearly were just geniuses all around
My dyslexia was think of a deferent Darth that starts with a T not going to spell it because I can't but I am referring to the former emperor of the eternal empire and emperor of the sith empire he had many faces and many name
Based on the timeline mentioned for the show. Any Sith around this time would be Darth Tanebrous or his twilik master. Darth Plagueis would be a child in this time line and wouldnt nake sense for him to be grown.
Oh wow star wars fans are mad again what a shock.
could even be a failed apprentice to plagues or even palps himself as a young kid
He could have possessed someone via that helmet of his and he's a seriously psychotic artist who helped Vader with his tower on Mustafar but that powerful unlikely..
Just because there's red sabers doesn't imply the show features any sith. It could simply be a dark side using assassin like assajj ventures who was never a sith but just a dark side user. Anybody dark side user who isnt a part of the darth bane lineage is not a real sith, just a dark jedi
I think the Darth Joker is Sol who’s the master it’s is Jedi padawan.
I realized they cleverly never showed the guy with the red lightsaber and any of the jedi in the same frame. You never actually know if the jedi are seeing this dark side user in person or whether they are a sith truly. Hell maybe the main people who see him are killed throughout the show or trapped somewhere without escape. Red lightsaber does not automatically mean sith and the jedi are aware of this
Darth Plagueis is already all but confirmed to not be a Muun. There is a photo of Plagueis in the secrets of the sith, a canon book. While we can't make out any details since we is cloaked and all we can see of his face are his eyes, but we do know he isn't Muun in canon due to the eye position and the shape of his hood, which is far too short to be Muun.
I’m sure not because of the latest lore but i think the Jedi were hoping on a lie long established from the Jedi of before, that the sith were “extinct”,who is keeping tabs on that info anyway?
We never get a explanation to that,so the Jedi behaving as a community i wouldn’t be surprised if they were indoctrinated using lies like these in order for the Jedi way to blossom without fear, since fear leads to the dark side according to canon.
I don’t think this “sith” is anyone we know,I’m pretty sure it’s just a new character entirely.
Acolytes of the Beyond… The Knights of Ren… Lots of clues in the Hidden Empire comics.
Let’s see what they do with it Cotton…
People want things to be like the books but then that would mean they will know more than others. I’d say give us something new.
I think it's just a dark acolyte like the one who almost killed Minch in legends, I don't think he a sith at all he just uses the dark side like the cult of ren
I remember in OG extended universe it was because one of the line of Bane betrayed them and thought he killed the other one. He told the Jedi of the Rule of Two, but mistakenly believing the other had died, they believed the sith were now extinct and never hunted the other one down. They might be doing something similar here, or maybe it's some new type of force user heavily inspired by the sith
Abeloth maybe, only character to have a joker like smile, and the jedi's getting the all black eyes match her eyes. Would be too cool for disney to do tho, they'll probably end up being more "black mist" at the end lmao
Would be cool if the "Sith" was a droid. "What are you" and it would explain why they don't think the Sith have returned.
Maybe a Knights of Ren?
Hey your back I don’t know if you remember me but I commented on the video that the tracker was tech on the bad batch !.., and I commented that if you’re wrong I’ll hit the do not recommend…, I’m sorry brother you were wrong sooo
For it not to be completely lore breaking, the person either has to be a Jedi being a sith wannabe, everyone dies and the council decides it was the worse case of jedi suicide ever, or cover up? Not sure how I feel about any of those options...
Nice job yoda, this show could make yoda an even worse jedi.
Yeah if he gets killed without the Jedi knowing he's a Sith or while giving Jedi a reason to hide the fact that Sith are still around it'd make sense...and I mean who says Tenebrous can't have an apprentice we don't know of yet, lose that apprentice and then go on to train Plagueis......Honestly, it's too big of a deal for Disney to just overlook and be like "Meh, they won't care, the fans are not known for going crazy over things like that"....I think they fully anticipated that we'd be collectively reacting the way we are reacting.....and they are probably also aware that no matter what they do, a significant portion of fans are going to complain anyway, so hopefully they just try to do something good, new, but still respectful of past canon elements...On the fans side I'd just hope that more of us would wait for the series to be out before assuming it's awful and bitching about Disney...and I know that a lot of fans are actually openminded, but there's still a very significant and extremely loud portion of fans who are just complaining all the time before even seeing the new material, and honestly I think it's doing fans a huge disservice because it allows Disney to say "Meh, they'll just complain about anything new" instead of actually questioning if some of the criticisms are actually very justified.
I mean I'm mad that Leysle Headland is behind this she walked models to there doom
The masked Slipknot sith is Mae or her sister. You can se eher hand snatch the red saber in the teaser and a Mexican promo poster showed the whole villain and she is holding the knives wearing the mask.
I can’t remember if it was Tenebrous or Tenebrous’ master, but didn’t one of the named Rule of Two Sith actually simultaneously train two apprentices, and the pit the two against each other to decide which one was the real apprentice?
Looks more like Darth Cylon.
It would be so sick if that was Tenebrous alternate apprentice and the ending of the show is him getting destroyed by Plagueis
"Somehow it's Palpitatine returned..... Or time travel or something"
What if this season of the Acolyte ends with Tenebrous pitting the titular Acolyte against another Acolyte he has been training: a young Muun called Hego Damask (later known as Darth Plagueis?)
dude, if they ruin cannon with that creature sith being Darth Plagues, im gonna be so mad.
When they say that the sith have been extinct for over a millennia, they do not mean the sith order, they mean the dark side species called the sith.
The sith order is called that because it started out as the sith species with many non-sith species fighting like them
So you mean to tell me that the GIMP from Pulp Fiction is the Sith Lord now. Wow truly DEI!!!
Momin is my favorite, but I don’t think it could be him since the masks are different. All in all, excited for this, high republic is such a rich era to explore.
Could be an apprentice of Tenebrous before Plageous. Kinda like what they did with Maul in Episode 1.
Haazen?
I don't think anyone understands what's going to happen. This whole show is practically a murder mystery. With that being said, it means every Jedi that is scene with that Mysterious Sith is most likely going to die, they have to. Cuz they can't retcon that cuz the Sith have been hiding in the shadows, and will kill Jedi from the Shadows also, and they only revealed themselves in The Phantom Menace PUBLICLY. The only thing the rest will sense is a disturbance.
A f a r r e a c h i n g s p e c u l a t i o n s t r e t c h !
I like the Darth Joker nickname tho 😂
My guess is that if it's an actual Sith, none of the Jedi who face it survive to inform the rest of the Order. 🤷♂️
I love your outlook on it. Yeah it might not be the old Star wars but any Star wars is better than no Star wars.
I think they will retcon anything just to hit some one line easter egg thinking it will satisfy people but like usual ultimately fail.
Wasn't Darth Momen in KOTOR?
thinking they wont do stuff is kinda crazy. they ruin everything they touch so i put nothing passed them
Viewers: man UA-cam recs is lame
Star Wars Content: *Hello There!!!!*
It doesn’t matter what Plagueis or his master were as their appearances are legends not canon only Darth Plagueis’ name is canon
If it's high Republic era I wonder if it has Degan gara from jedi survivor
A fan just told me George Lucas is irrelevant and a one hit wonder because George came out and said he liked the Kenobi series. Fan outrage is corny at this point. George does everything right, Star Wars can't survive without him up until he says or does something some of these fans don't like. How do we know it's a Sith Lord? Even if it is, how do we know if he or she doesn't simply kill everyone there? Or maybe Yoda is keeping a secret. Like most things there are many ways to skin this cat.
I like the usage of sticks as practice swords/light sabers (bokken) to train. It might have something to do with how Baylon Skoll came up with the term Broken Jedi to describe Jedi trained in the wild. This might be an old method, outdated and wild to Baylon. Or a specific instructor uses this method. An instructor known to be wild. Something like that. Again, there are plenty of ways to write it
It's literally as the name of the show suggests
It's Disney, could be Jocasta Nu or Darth Reven, unless Faloni, Lucas, and Favaro, idk what to say
If you're feeling suicidal, talk to someone. There are people out there that care and want to help. You just need to ask
Its literally the main character, the girl. How do people not see that?
Idk why ppl are mad if it is a sith then all those Jedi are going to die to make it cannon
You guys all assume it’s Sith. Could just be a dark Jedi.
It will the first time ever i don't watch a new Star wars project
The reason why they don’t mention the sith is cuz it slipped their mind on accident lol…Disney just needs to make shows lmfao
Dark side user not affiliated with Sith?
could be plageis as an acolyte trying to become a sith. could be darth venemous? obviously filoni can change anyones age.
I believe that Mae in the Trailers is a Red Herring. We are made to think she is the "Acolyte", but I think it is just mistake identity that she is being blamed for. This will come to light and it will become a Hero/anti-hero team up to find the real threat aka whoever "darth joker" is. If this is true, i fear that they ARE retconning the lore.
If it isn't True, and Mae is the Acolyte, then the "sith" is not a Sith, but a Fallen Jedi, and that is something I can accept.
It always amazes me that people who do Star Wars UA-cam channels automatically assume a red blade means Sith. There are plenty of Jedi who fall to the dark side, bleed their blades and are not Sith.
Like who? I'm serious, without legends I'm not aware of fallen jedi who weren't trying to be Sith. Like the ones that made it to cannon.
In the new Canon: Baylan Skol, Shin Hati, Taron Malicos, Degan Gera etc.
When kylo ren became the master of nights of ren he put the helmet on u can't even see out of to find the knights ..Ren says the mask has a mind of its own and relax and take it in ...just like mormin sith artifacts become corrupted..
What if it is momins mask... It doesn't have to be him under the mask. Didn't sidious find the mask in the Jedi temple after order 66? This could be Jedi or such being controlled and possessed by the mask.
That scene only? They're angry about the whole show.
If this is Darth Joker... then were is Jedi Batman?
