Making Jungle Terrain (BBB#4)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 сер 2017
- In this episode of the Big Burma Build, I'm making jungle terrain that's really dense. Dense jungle terrain works great for wargames that use TLOS, games like Bolt Action, Warhammer and 40k all benefit from enhancing a wargaming jungle terrain setup with some really dense LOS blocking terrain pieces.

Brilliant work Mel , well done!
I love watching the BBB. A lot of techniques in each video.
Tyler McDowell i
Mel, truly a thing of beauty, they do look very realistic.
Cheers bud
Glad you got time to work on this again Mel, happy garden work :)
Thanks Mel! Your timing is great. I just started building my army's for gaming Vietnam and this terrain is going to be perfect for it!
Win!
That's why you're the Terrain Tutor. Brilliant!
If you couldn't get vulcanized coconut fiber, would you add something to plain coconut fiber?
Cool they look like real plants with the bases. Great work
Cheers mate
Just awaiting arrival of my Aquarium plants for my terrain for Congo. Love the site Mel keep up the great work buddy
Nice one matey
I've waited for months for you to pick up this project - so glad you picked it back up again! Can't wait to see the next one.
Should be a monthly feature on the channel going forward bud
You’re on top form in this one Bose 👍👍👍
Thanks for the tips Mel! I'm currently designing a miniatures game, and this will come in handy for some of the settings
Absolutely love this stuff. Will be perfect for catachans in 40k 😄
I agree. I’m wanting to do an Armies on Parade with my Catachans this year this looks like it would do the trick.
Nice work! I have made some jungle terrain in the past but your depth and density is perfect.
Thanks mate
I perfect world would allow free men to do as they please to make a living. Art is the soul, and we should never let creativity escape us. Long story short, getting back into it, I'll be supporting Mel and you should too!

Great work Mel. Need a few more none tree big bases. :D
Agreed! ;-)
Impressive as always. Hopefully we'll get a peak at your Burma game board.
Once it's built mate ;-)
Looking great bud. :)
Beautiful ! Epic ! great got to try ! hello from down under bro !
Cheers bud
You should do a piece with a big rock/boulder on it.
Plenty of that planned bud
Good video, to give ideas and to encourage people who play miniatures to work the scenery themselves.
I'm also on the ScratchAttackTV channel
I encourage you with your projects, and please continue to make guides of
this type, that players do things for themselves, thus increasing their
creativity.
Greetings from a Spanish player
Greetings from Spain
Hey i love your videos but i like the ancients. specifically the celts so I hoping if you could do some CHEAP and EASY celtic terrain. :)
On the list mate
And also your such a good youtuber love your chanel
Have you done a video on how to prep the mixed herbs with dettol?
No but it's just a matter of soaking them in some dilute dettol and then letting them try bud
Are you going to do any low cover for the board? You should also do some rocky bits to break up the green and browns!
Rocky bits on are the cards but what do you mean about low cover mate?
TheTerrainTutor low walls or things of brush, for troops to take cover behind
I'm sure I heard insects chirping and a monkey howl as you held that piece up at 23:29?
I love the bases. However...You got a little crazy with the lichen on a cpl of bases. Besides. How do you expect the Pandas to do their thing with all that stuff in the way!
I haven't even started with crazy yet! :-D
When you are done with the big burma build, will you show us some gameplay?
I don't think I'll ever be done with it bud
neet tuff me i look up beast that find in burma jungels and hide some in it to see if enny one sees it thats fun bit
Love everything. Where's January's and February's videos ;) lol
Yeah, need to get it off the shelf and crack on with it
TheTerrainTutor hoping to see the trees ;)
Your a star, looking forward to seeing what you do next.
how ya gonna keep from losing your Chindits in all that jungle? lol
You may need to paint their hat bands white or something. playing micro-armor I've forgotten to fire tanks that I put into woods and then forgot all about. lol!
That's the plan, the enemy can't shoot you if he can't see your models mate ;-)
I like it
SUPER EPIC!@
Cheers buddy

Can you do more of this vids
Plenty more to come mate
How are you going to place the soldiers?

What scale is this?
28mm. But it could be used for loads of different scales.
He's making this for Bolt Action.
Burma is not in the Pacific FYI however great terrain
Pacific Theatre ;-)
BURMA! ...why did you say Burma? I PANICKED.
The lowest part of a jungle is the "understorey".
Also PLEASE, the word is pronounced "Foe-li-age", not "follidge" or "follyage".
Thanks for the info
fo-le-age not folidge
