I must say, I do enjoy your vids, Mel! I am working on my Pacific stuff, more for the island hopping campaign. So your Burma stuff, Jungles etc, has been inspirational. Keep it up!😁👍
Brilliant work, lad. this'll be perfect for the Don't Look Back tabletop game. A little sloppy bits in the forest will go well with slowing monster pursuit.
Great to see you back at the table Mel! The mojo is most definitely back. Love the puddles and agree with the idea of modelling a bit of mud/darkened ground with these as well to blend in the edge of the water. Loving it! :)
Those look amazing, wonder if a few tufts placed in the muddy water would add to it? I might try this for my own build as I am planning a Normandy table for Operation Cobra which would have a few puddles on the various dirt roads in that area of operations. Good to see you back in the studio more, Mel. after all the events of the past two years it's nice to see things getting back to normal, life seems pleasant again.
Thank you Mel...this is great for Death Guard or Skaven terrain also....I can really use these tips as I get back into making terrain...keep up the good work
Mel, lovely to see you back at it! I'd love to collab with you some day if you want to add lighting to some of the scatter. I do a ton of stuff for LED's in terrain. Mostly D&D interactive type stuff, but I was looking at some of the Burma buildings and thinking how nice it'd be to add some candle flicker style lighting on the exterior of the buildings etc. Please do drop me a note if you're interested. I'll try reaching out on other social media too. cheers. :)
Yeah crackin! Peace ✌ from the French🇫🇷 guy living in Spain🇪🇸 To be honest, mud is the last thing you will find in desert landscape Madrid ahahahahahahahah

Great to see a return of the video tutorial. And an excellent one to get your feet wet. Well done that man.
Back in the saddle! Great video Mel.
Excellent and simple to follow instruction, something which is greatly appreciated!
This was a great video! I have always loved your tutorials and have learned a lot over the years by watching them. Thank you.

Nice one Mel. I like the level of translucence on the muddles. Mel, back in the saddle with tutorials!

i really do think that finger technique will make quite an impression, and build up a lot of excess cream... @5:50
Great tutorial Mel, very ionformative and useful.
Awesome, I have been lacking in my ground cover. This helps, thank you.
Would cleanup be easier if you put down a layer of plastic wrap down before pouring out the Crystacal R?
yep
pre darking is a great idea
Might need to reproduce this using the endless supply of card I have around at home! Great results!
This is actually handy since I should be doing some dirt roads and could do some muddy/wet puddles on them.
I use AK products for weathering my trains. I will be tracking that
Puddles stuff down. Thanks for trying it out🚂🚃🚃🇨🇦🙋
Those look great!
Good to see you back! And as usual, I'm taking notes. Is the Water effects basically gloss medium with a muddy brown tint?
I like what you did with your puddle 🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍🆒️
🌴 Burma Build 🌴
I'm just wondering would that stuff work on packets foam
