I am 77 and I watch the show from it’s beginning, my husband is 79 I got him addicted to Smallville on TV. I watched the reruns also. My husband bought me the complete DVD set for Xmas one year and I cried with joy! I have rewatched all episodes except the last 2 of the final season…I can’t bare to watch it end again.

Happy 20th anniversary Smallville! This was a show that had a great impact on me. Especially as a person with a disability and being adopted. I really connected with Clark on that personal level. Always grateful to Smallville.

Clark and Lana not ending up together is legit the biggest heartbreak of the show, upsets me to this day !! One of my all time favorite shows until season 8. I’ve never seen 9 or 10, i just couldn’t.
Your missing something not watching S9 especially as it builds to a climax like older seasons and has a complex villain shall we say. 8,9 & 10 rounds off the series & is worth seeing though S10 still disappoints me to this day after S9.

It was so heartbreaking that I cannot watch another episode😅 Of course I know for a fact that Clark and Lois was gonna end up eventually but I really hoped that they will gonna go with Clark and Lana because it was Smallville. After everything they've been through (the shows build-up/story of them).

Smallville is one of the best tv shows of all time. The best superman show of all time. The best superhero show of all time and of the best cw shows of all time. With one of the best lex luthor of all time. seriously this show is so fantastic and really Iconic and really rewatchable. Love you Smallville.
I am a Filipino and I've watched these show during my early 20's, and I got easily addicted to it. Great cast, great story. Lana is soo beautiful and it gives me more reason to watch the show😂 I love the soundtrack also coz it provides an additional emotion to each scene. One of my fave OST is "Everything" by lifehouse and the other one is " Save Me" by Remi Zero. I still love watching the show over and over again🤩

I love that 20 years later, people are put here talking to the trio that made this show. Because at the end of the day Clark was the main character, Lana was the love of his life, and Lex was his best friend and arch enemy. For me these 3 are what smallville is about.... and if they do any kind of reunion with Kristin, I hope they do her justice. She is my favorite character of all time, and I adored her... but we also can't ignore the fact that she and Clark have a complicated past and have ALWAYS been in love, regardless of who they rebounded with.

In my honest opinion, Michael Rosenbaum is probably the greatest actor to portray Lex Luthor on TV. Gene Hackman is the best Lex Luthor on the big screen.
And honestly, nostalgic respect is the only thing that makes anyone say Hackman did it better. Because he didnt. Michael Rosenbaum portrayed Luthor better than ANY other actor. People just dont wanna fully accept it cause "oh but hes on a teen drama on CW". Yea. A teen drama. And he played Luthor better than the role has ever been played. Period.
@@biggains1 Rosenbaum was born to play Lex Luthor, HE IS Lex Luthor. And one more thing. Smallville is not a fucking teen drama. Is a familiar/superheroic TV show which narrates the adventures of a young Clark Kent.
@@biggains1 Michael portray better because of how he was written of his origins to all the way to his complete lex Luther character, but he wasn’t comic accurate compare to Jesse eisenberg and gene Hackman.

For fans of the show Michael has a podcast call Inside of you and he has done interviews with the cast of smallville and also with the creators of the show I really recommend to listen to those episodes. He also has interview a lot of actors.
I really wish they would do a "What if" series and give us an episode of Clark and Lana ending up together just for us fans! We need to pitch this idea to Tom and Michael! Kristin and Tom had the best on screen chemistry, truly! Would it be too much to ask for one episode, please!

Lol! Cute but I do love Lex and Lana together in the Lexmas episode and the beginning of their relationship where Lex was so in love with Lana before all the craziness happened in season 7. The writers said that Lana is the only person that brings out his vulnerability.
I think they did with the story of the boy who aged ridiculously fast with. They “played house”, kind of like a what if. I’m always for Clois, but I did like Clana and wish Kristin would’ve came back in the finale. I would’ve loved to see where she went and what she’s accomplished!

My favorite series! It came out during an incredibly difficult part of my life and continued into early adulthood. My life was better because of this show. I know it sounds cliche, but it was something I held onto during those times. Much to love to the creators and cast and crew!!

Can't believe it's been 20 years. I remember thinking "IDK if this show will work" then watched it and just was amazed with the direction of the show. Made it about Clarks journey and the people he brought along. And his parallel and opposite relationship with Lex (and how the Kenta and Luthors were completely different in their views on raising a son which caused that split). Huge shout out to Annette'O Tools and John Schneider as Clarke's parents as well. They were just as big a part of what gave it heart . John Glover was Also equally as evil and so good as Lionel Luthor as well.

The continuing story of Smallville the animated series has a nice ring to it. I would love to see that and the cast voices playing the characters. A lot of the show's fans would love to see that. I have to say for myself as someone who has always liked Kristin Kreuk ever since childhood. She was a sort of first love for me. I am still absolutely in love with her. I very recently got a dream fullfilled to see her, in fact all 3 of these guys at the Fan Expo Philadelphia convention. Was such an amazing time. Kristin was so kind and sweet. Got some lovely photos with her.😀

Clark’s fall was symbolic in terms that Lana represents his weakness (one falls in love), and she wears the Kryptonite necklace. It has a metaphorical connotation.
also the last time we see them on screen together, he falls to his knees, like the first time we see them on screen.

Really an awesome show. Didn't get to watch it when it was on. Watched it just recently as an adult. The music was awesome! The show was just really good. We need more shows like that. Best Lex ever! His music, lives and podcasts are so much fun
20years ago, i was 16yo, and watching the pilot eps was the best moment happened to me :D
I discovered this show in probably the 3rd or 4th season when the reruns would air late at night. I was extremely depressed at the time, had just flunked out of college essentially, and the show always cheered me up. I started binging the DVD's from my library long before binging a show was a thing.

Nostalgia hit me recently so I’ve been rewatching smallville and it hurts so much. All the memories as a teenager, idolizing and honestly just so beautiful to rewatch. Smallville \clark kent aka Tom Welling will always be my favorite superhero\superman. His soulful expression of that wonderful character was depicted in a way that not even the comics really displayed so I’m grateful for those years and it’s reminded me recently that being a hero isn’t about the good you do, but saving humanity, giving hope. It inspired me to be less critical of myself and do better but with ease and not carry so much burden on my own. I hope someday I can be a Lois lane to a magical man like Clark Kent? What? I remember when smallville came on Wednesdays and switched to Thursdays and then stayed on Fridays. This show was filled with action suspense drama comedy and story telling. Every season was interesting. Season 1 was the beginning, season 2 was When Clark learned of his real father, season 3 was metropolis , season 4 was the intro to Lois lane , Flash and The Friendship shortly rekindled with Clark and Lex. Season 5 was the end of Clark and lana and first appearance of ZOD as well as Jonathon death , season 6 was justice league intro , season 7 was the final season of Lex , season 8 was the intro to Tess, season 9 was the official intro to ZOD , Season 10 was the ultimate final season so I wish they could have done a season 11 but idk but the show itself was great

This has got to be the funniest interview ever because it was done from the point of a female interviewer! I love how she asked about the romantic relationships on smallville something that men interviewers don’t focus on which is unfortunate.
I'm a new fan of the series cause I binged the episodes online for free and I can honestly say that it was the best casting I've ever seen come together on screen. Including the casting of Michael Rosenbaum. He gave the best performance on that show. I agree with Tom that he rocks the bald look. Can't believe that it ended 10 years ago. Doesn't even feel old to me lol. Tom was great as well. The best Clark Kent next to Dean Cain. You can gradually see him get better and better as an actor all throughout the film.

I did not watch this show when I was a teen but I did as adult and I love it. It brings to my mind the amazing 90 - 2000 style and nostalgia. I love Lex,Lionel, Lana, Martha and Chloe and many times I was angry with Clark and Jonathan bc they were so square. Amazing show and amazing actor. 👍❤️🌹🤗🥰👏👌
